      @@TURTLEORIGINAL well, if your God is omniscient and omnipotent it seems pretty clear that he could convince me that he was real. And if he couldn't convince me that he was real, as you imply, then that means that there's not enough evidence in the entire universe to convince me that he's real, and if God Made Me then that means God made someone who could not be convinced of God's reality. Which also wouldn't be my fault. If your God wants to get to know me, all he has to do is introduce himself just like I would expect of any other person on the planet who claim to want to get to know me

      Construction. Basically what geometers did because they were most interested in relationships that didn't require something like a ruler to make. They were very distressed when non-constructible numbers like most irrationals (iirc) were proved to exist. Caused a whole schism and everything. Apparently transcendentals were only proven more than a milennia after Pythagoras, but I assume they would've really gone nuts over them.

      It turns out that the Golden Ratio is a very effective way of packing stuff densely and growing efficiently. Lots of living things optimized parts of their bodies like seed clusters or shell curves over millennia of competitive pressure, and those eventually reached a pattern that couldn't be improved upon.

    • @lukiepoole9254

    • @cosmopsyche
      @cosmopsyche 2 роки тому +1

      If you keep getting smaller, at some point you’ll reach a new dimension.

    • @nobodyinparticular968
      @nobodyinparticular968 2 роки тому +3

      @@cosmopsyche there cant be an infinite regress of smaller particles if the smallest size possible is not an infinitesimal, which we currently think it is not
      also virtual particles dont really exist, theyre just a model made to describe a wierd behavior in quantum mechanics, that's why theyre called virtual particles, there arent any particles there
      the idea of the phenomenon that we're attempting to explain with them being particles travelling across the 4th dimension and passing through our 3 dimensional plane is very interesting though, if not mildly terrifying, since there might be 4 dimensional beings right next to you... staring... :)
