1:56 I actually just learned about this a few hours ago. You can equip armor on villagers using a dispenser, and if you have thorns on that armor, the villager will be able to kill you, giving you a rare death message.
Isn't that message "[person with too much time on their hands] was pricked to death while trying to hurt [whatever you put thorns armour on]"?

Just checked it. Wouldn't work with the wandering trader because he can't be equipped with armor, but for villagers it gives out the message "*username* was killed while trying to harm Villager"
