I literally just got this one cause it was on sale for 75 and I wanted a rolling toolbox rather than having to carry around my toolbag. For me even this is perfect cause I'm only three months into welding school and it should last me long enough to start getting some money lol
@clintbeeler5069 so far it's been pretty good, I carry around a decent amount of equipment and a bunch of weld coupons and it's held up pretty fine so far with my tools and with me using it as a chair at times. Theyre smaller than competitors but its been enough space for me aswell. My only real complaint is that the clear plastic from the small container is rather brittle, it's already gotten a few cracks from the weight of metal plates placed on top of it but overall it's pretty worth it, if it's on sale I'd go for it.
I love my Hart boxes, they get the job done and for the price I was able to buy everything all at once. My favorite is the drawers, I have two sets and the smaller size makes it so I can have them side by side facing the back of my 4runner for quick access 👌🏻
Great video. I use TB for work. Seen on a FB post that someone made a fishing setup out of TB. After seeing this review, I strongly considering using Hart for my fishing setup I had in mind. Appreciate the time and knowledge you put into your videos and products.
Thanks for making the Hart brackets available. I've had the hart system for years ..definitely worth it for the price. Wish they had a "pipeline" vision to expand and make future stuff as well...no guarantees though.
I wish I had any of these starting out! Great video. I admit I like the Husky connection but the available rolling drawers setup with the Ridgid would be my choice starting out today. The flexibility is crazy for the money. No one has Milwaukee's level of integrated vac, but Ridgid at least has a vac topper mount available 🤩
This is perfect for my case use. Semi permanent storage system for back of my work truck. More administrative type work, but lots of gear that I don't need to always use in the field. Definitely looking to purchase the cleats for my use case
I have the Keter Stack 'n' Roll system (like this but with Red accents), I got mine from WIckes (They had an offer going, £5 off all) The Starter is £99 The Base box (with wheels) is £55 The Drawers units are £50ea The Tool box (with open tray) is £30 The Organiser is £25 The Half Organiser is £13 You'd need to source the bags and Small Tool box other than from Wickes My thoughts As a DIY enthusiast or apprentice where you don't need water tightness and you want to keep your DIY stuff tidy together and out of the way these are your Huckleberry. The smaller size would suit someone like a Plumber or Sparky doing maintenance in blocks of flats, they just about fit througha standard UK doorway. As a professional builder or Tech lugging stuff across the job site, go for one of the higher priced options. I do wish you could pick which options you get in the starter kit.
I bought the tough stack system and I’m seriously in love with the refined build quality. Yeah, I like the packput a lot, it’s what we use at work, but I think there pack of removable handle on the base bin is unacceptable. I have a pickup and have to be able to secure it all under the cover. I really like the mod box lineup, but they lack the quality of either the touch stack or the packout. Like really bad fitment on the lids. It was a huge turn off. I actually bought a craftman stack system and I no sooner got it in my truck went back in to shop for some other stuff and saw the tough built and immediately returned the craftsman for it. I’m only dissapointed at the lack of dealer support for new accessories that were supposed to drop this summer. Also there’s a small snafu with the half bins not allowing more full size stacks which doesn’t affect me at the moment but can see how for some larger buyers would be a deal breaker. Small oversight? lol. Well whatever you get / afford. They are all worth the coin. Make tool storage, parts organizing, and transport an absolute dream to where we were 5 years ago.
I budget by putting all my Milwaukee tools in my Husky Build Out system, and my DeWalt tools in my ToughBuilt. Ironically Husky is red/blk just like Milwaukee but cheaper, and ToughBuilt is blk/ylw just like DeWalt. Weihe checkout Husky Build Out new products (dolly, workbench top, and 2/3 drawer boxes) all terrific for the price
It looks good for a home handy man who wants a box they can cart around home sometimes (definitely the intended market) but it definitely wouldnt hold up to daily use on a job site for long.
Agree. I’ve been running the Milwaukee for about four years and even it’s about tore up. No complaints, just rough work. Was looking at Hart while waiting on my wife. Wouldn’t give it a year, but it would be ok around the house (which I’m rarely at).
Just started a job that has me traveling all over to various Walmarts building primarily bikes and simple grills but primarily bikes. I don’t need a metric ton of tool but I do need a lot of little speciality tools and a handful of impacts. I also need to lug around a 40lb bike mount and a 6ft folding tabling and portable air compressor. Basically I got a lot of stuff that needs moving around but none of it is particularly heavy duty. 22lbs for the entire 3 pice and only $75 sounds like a pretty good deal. The all plastic wheels concern me though.
The fact that I literally was just looking into these today and came across your video is awesome! I was gifted a roller pack out and I need more storage but pack out is so expensive and it's just for at home tools so I was thinking hart would be fine and this helped! Thank you?
I recently revamped my entire fishing tackle arsenal that was getting out of control using the 21" bulk box with the flat small parts box latched to it. (the 20.5"x4.5" thick one with the removable blue bins). It's kind of like a plano satchel type tackle box but built much heavier. Its probably ok for hand tools, but for fishing tackle, it's better than ANY tackle box on the market IMHO. and only 48$ for the duo. The bulk box can hold 9, 3600 size plano stow-away boxes stood on edge plus 1 plano 3500 size stow away. 10 stow aways!! MASSIVE amounts of lure storage. Or, sometimes, I'll opt for the drop in tray & I'll use 5, 3600 size stow aways and they rest against the tray so they don't tip over, they're sort of trapped between it and the sidewall of the box. (perfect!) then leave a bulk area below the tray where i can keep spools of line, bags of rubber worms, towel, sun screen, etc. I love opening the box and seeing basically what looks like library books to pick from. Need to label the edges next with what's in the stow-aways. Unbelievable amounts of storage. I think of this set up as the mothership of ALL my various freshwater species of fishing. I bring it on fishing trips and usually leave it in the car or cabin, then "shop" from it to pack out small plano boxes which are in a fanny pack for the day for whatever we may fish for. It's been an awesome system so far! I just need to buy another duo like it for all my salt water tackle. If you did bring it to the water it'd be a tad big, but, the bulk box could easily be used as a bench to fish from. Plano can not do that, they crack, trust me. :)
@@JakeWeihe We almost always wade fish or pond hop. so very often i just pack a fishing fanny pack. But for the boat I'd "shop" from the mother ship to set up my little Plano 3 tray old school box. That's usually plenty for the day. That's the thing, when you think of it as shopping for what ya need/want for the day it's really a wide open rig. I can grab a couple stow aways and throw them in a backpack etc. I began noticing I had accumulated enough fishing lures, tackle over the years for several lifetimes. lol. They were here, there, over there, under there, inside there.... This setup keeps it all in one organized place and I can throw it on the basement storage shelf so i always know where any and all my fishing related stuff is. No more searching and wondering. Quite honestly, 1 bulk box with plano stow aways is about all the tackle storage anyone should ever need. Super simple, super tough.
Have you ever considered using Filing cabinets for the large items. Face book Market place has them. 4 drawer for as low $ 25. Some sell for $50. I assume they will hold circular saws, saws all. They come in different shelf numbers.
I have the Bauer set up and I really like it, but I couldn’t find any drawers that are compatible with it so I bought the heart system basically just for the drawers. I’m gonna mount the drawers in the back of my truck but basically use my Bauer system for back-and-forth to the lake and such.
a 100# in tools/hardware is a lot...250# in tools/hardware is exceptionally a lot... I guess the thing to really consider is how much does one plan to add to the entire system. Plus, do weight of the boxes infringe on the total tool capacity weight? which would be a higher % on the Hart system compared to the others.....
I went and looked at the Hart on display in store and every box was cracked and even the hollow wheels were dented flat. The plastic use is worse than what Sterlite uses for storage totes.

Nothin wrong with that
How's it held up?

I would love to see a video on the husky Connect, I like seeing these budget videos
Hart stack vs husky connect would be a great video.
Milwaukee tools in Hart toolboxes will never get stolen
Maybe

Gotcha. It would be pretty cool to see some boxes attached to a floating base if you needed the extra storage.

Love the review - would really like to see your thoughts on Dewalt TSTAK. They seem to fit between the Hart Stack and ToughBuilt.
I was gifted a d Walt stack box it’s ok I am considering getting a Klein system I will be moving through some tougher environments such as horse farm
Seeing your video made go and check it out, to my surprise there is an even cheaper one at walmart the hyper stack
Yeah I’ll have to check it out and make a video about it
Considering for camping
Definitely a good option!
For price I’m a Bauer guy, I’ve been looking to invest into a pack out system and hart has so much more options than the Bauer.
I have the Bauer set up and I really like it, but I couldn’t find any drawers that are compatible with it so I bought the heart system basically just for the drawers. I’m gonna mount the drawers in the back of my truck but basically use my Bauer system for back-and-forth to the lake and such.
I am currently considering this box or the husky build out. I’d like to see a video comparing them and out of the two which one is a better value
I have other videos showing husky buildout in depth.
@@JakeWeiheI decided on the Hart Stack. Price and the fact the it had drawers did it. Besides i think the size of will work best for me.
Great video!
Thanks!
Comparison between Husky, Crescent, Toughbuilt, Klein, and Dewalt rolling tool bags would be a great video.
what a good video more views for sure soon
can you make a bracket that goes on the inside of the stacktech boxes to be able to use the cliptech pouches
Is there any information on how much weight each drawer can hold in the hart?
Hmm I don’t remember off the top of my head but I wouldn’t trust it with much. Probably like 10- 15 pounds per drawer.
which boxes can be wall mounted?
a 100# in tools/hardware is a lot...250# in tools/hardware is exceptionally a lot... I guess the thing to really consider is how much does one plan to add to the entire system. Plus, do weight of the boxes infringe on the total tool capacity weight? which would be a higher % on the Hart system compared to the others.....
I’ve seen both the hart and risgid drawer boxes broken in the store, where the drawer wouldn’t fully close or lock.
And I’ve seen broken Packout. Stores are rough on everything
I wish one of the better brands would just come out with a smaller system like harts only stronger. I mean these other brands are so cumbersome
2:32 in Ukraine cost 85$
If all it does is sit in garage then the cheapest option is probably best.
I went and looked at the Hart on display in store and every box was cracked and even the hollow wheels were dented flat. The plastic use is worse than what Sterlite uses for storage totes.
I’ve also seen damaged Packout boxes in stores… the plastic is definitely thinner so it’s not everybody but it can still be useful for some.
