While I was on a trip to Japan, I was lucky enough to purchase engine bay accessories and STI wheel trims at a much lower price compared to what I would have paid elsewhere. Being a foreigner, I was exempt from paying taxes on my purchases. Unfortunately, I sold my CVT WRX Limited, but the good news is that I acquired a TR. I have removed all my JDM parts and will now be installing them on my TR..
@@carswithsepp I went to Japan about this time last year. It was for family reasons. I didn’t ship my parts lol I just put the parts in my back pack and hand carried all my parts. ( I’m from Texas )
@@richierich859 I show a sound clip of them 5:31. Here’s the actual video from Subaru if you wanted to see more of it ua-cam.com/video/2wBOivaqf8s/v-deo.htmlsi=R6cILpzZiy5v6KqV
Holy shit they actually make real dry carbon parts and there never known for doing that at all especially to the public itself. They always do it on there racecars and thats it but someone can tell me if i am wrong but now i want dry carbon parts from STI on my 24 impreza rs, like bro i seriously told Subaru of America and Subaru Corp. Themselves i will fix your 24 impreza rs to what it should have really been from the start but i aint the subaru engineers
Honestly the biggest travesty is the fact that the machine face wheels did not come to the US. I am not a big fan of the all gray wheels that we have on the premium however if we got the machine ones I honestly would rock the stock ones for longer than usual.
@@HeavyMetalWRX Subaru does make some interesting decisions when it comes to what they decide to bring overseas. The machined wheels do add a dynamic look to the stock wheels. They did the same type of thing for the 2020-2021 STI when they machined portion of the stock wheel to change up the look. Maybe in a future year VB they’ll do the machined wheels stock.
I aint even half way through this video and i am now just like wtf japan, why cant we get the good good sti body panels in other countries outside of japan as options now.
I would be very interested in that front camera option

I have a TR as well! When you bought your parts in Japan, how did you go about shipping them over to your home country?

Out of all things, I really want the rear windshield wiper..and maybe the WRX s4 floor mats😬😬
Yeah i love the STI body parts. I got the rear spoiler on my 24 impreza rs
Hey this is a great informative video man. Love your videos! Let’s hope Subaru actually releases a real STI soon.
@@Cats_Are_Scary thank you very much :)
and one more thing is that the JPN market WRX has a resonator in the midpipe which the US market doesn't have; stock.
Good note man. Thanks for catching that
They got anything for a 2024 impreza rs 🤔

We dont get those vehicles because of EPA and safety regulations...
@@oscarp9336 well they figured out how to make the s209 compliant. Wished they could have done more in terms of special edition cars overseas
Still an ugly car
