Hey Josh, good job doing all that suspension work which is dirty and even a little scary sometimes. Those 2 shops in Everett, I'm kind of amazed because I lived in Everett for several years and I don't think there was anything like that there at the time. There was a good alignment shop in Bellevue at one time that did good chassis and suspension work on my Talon. They put H&R springs and KYB struts on it for me, and lots of other stuff. But that shop has gone downhill since then I think. Thanks for showing that clip at 22:57 because I didn't know 425 was doing stuff like that either. But Speedware had an awesome shop that did high-end fabrication work on people's race cars. The guy that runs 425 was the shop lead man at the old Speedware that was in Bellevue. It looks to me like he is turning 425 into a reincarnation of Speedware, which I'm glad to see. He is the guy who told me way back in about 2005 that my Talon would be able to pass Washington emissions without a cat. I wasn't even a customer of theirs, I just called them on the phone with some questions. Really enjoyed the Kirkland lakeshore scenes! #family

I considered Eibach springs but wanted to avoid the headache of rebuilding everything and dealing with spring compressors so I'm glad I passed on them after watching this lol. Nice alternatives you found on how to get everything straight though. Ride looks good! #Family
I have owned many sets of full coilovers from Tein to Ohlins! I can tell you that the Eibach will not leave you feeling disappointed. They feel far better over the stock suspension and that ride height makes the car look epic!

Dang nice man! Was looking at Coilovers lately for the next upgrade but I think I will take this route as it fits my budget a bit better. Also the only thing I am questioning myself on is the part about trimming the Bumpstop. I've never worked with suspension before so I'm confused. Thanks for another great install video! #Family
Trimming the bump stop is very easy. My battery died and I missed the footage. Just make sure not to damage the shock assembly when cutting. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the support #family I appreciate you Joseph. Yes sir I love the ride height and car feels and drives much better especially at speed on the highway, no more bounciness.
Really good review and install. Thank you. I have those on my VB. Looks amazing. Corners like it's on rails. Not overly bouncy. Unless you hit a bump or a pot hole at higher speeds. It hurts! They will settle quite a bit. Ride height is actually perfect. Not too low to cause scraping, but low enough to look more aggressive. I've had mine for about 4 months. After all said and done. Good if in a pinch. But I'm definitely going to be upgrading to full coilovers for comfort. Either the Revel Touring or Cygnus Comfort. So just a little regert. IDK if H&R would be better. My guess is it's not. Though both are German companies, Eibach are made in the USA!
Thanks for all of your feedback in the comments. Glad to hear after 4 months your conclusion is about the same as mine. The Pro Kit definitely enhances the look of the VB. Now I need to get the Brembo brakes on and fix the plastic cladding. More to come, stay tuned!

@ gotcha brother and appreciate it. I have Cobb springs and some lower control arms already here ready to put on but now torn between going that route as opposed to coilovers, especially when my main master mechanic/friend is advising to go coils

@@JDMRightHandDrive thanks for responding. Looking forward to the track vids! Hoping to get the Eibach, but want to know if I can do springs first for track rather than spend a fortune on coils.
Would you recommend getting the adjustable toe arm for the rear? What about an adjustable front swaybar end link? I see many of the coilover kits come with one.
If I could redo it, I would install the toe arms at the same time. Nick was still able to get the alignment into spec with the stock toe arms though. He just said for this set up it would have made sense to get the toe arms for the best suspension geometry and that the oem ones left us somewhat limited. Good question and thanks for watching.
The ride is a nice improvement over stock springs, gets rid of the bounciness on the freeway. Does better at soaking up bumps at speed. Still feels stiff like stock springs at low speeds in the city. Not to mention the have the ride height of the car lower makes the car looks so much better. I would definitely recommend these. You will love them. Thanks for watching.
Great content. I love watching your VB build. I just bought the sportline springs and lower control arms. I’m gonna install myself since most shops around me are quoting $6-700 for install. Could you list the torque specs by chance?

@@amarrupnawar Hi surprisingly they fit pretty well with the 1.5” drop but the rear did rubbed a little when I hit bumps at higher speeds. After I shaved a little off of the rear fenders it was fine.

I did the install in about 4 hours. My springs took a little to settle to get the full 1 inch drop in ride height. I personally think this ride height is perfect and still find it challenging to scrapping over speed bums and step curbs or hills. I definitely would not want my car any lower than this. I would like some sway bars though.
After a month and the springs have had time to break in and settle a bit, I think the suspension feels awesome. It feels more planted with high speed handling. It feels less bouncy on the freeway too. I would say that maybe it feels slightly stiffer at low speeds over bumps. But overall it is much better compared to the oem suspension. My plan was to buy HKS coil overs later on, but I am perfectly happy and will be keeping my Eibach springs on my car.
@@JDMRightHandDrive awesome I’ve had them in the past on other cars and tend to agree I like eibach springs, I was wondering if it was worth to buy some coil overs but to me I just don’t see the value in it I’ll never track or auto cross the car personally… so I guess springs for me it will be, I was trying to wait out for a company to make after market struts with some dampening capabilities but seems like that’s gunna be a while still…
Whats the specs of the wheels and tires you are running? Did you get any rubbing or scraping? Im thinking of running 18x9.5 et 38 with these springs but Im worried it will rub after watching your video.
My wheels are 18x9+35 and running some 265 35 18 tires. I had to trim my rear plastic factory over fenders. I dont have any scrapping issues. If the car was lower +38 would work better and maybe a 255 max tire width.

I just installed mine recently and it’s making a weird noise when I turn left and right is there any advice you can give me to make that noise disappear?
Yes the suspension is more comfortable compared to stock. Car is smoother on the freeway for sure, no more bouncy feeling. Car also feels more planted at high speeds. I let my friend drive my car last week, he owns a stock 22 wrx. He was very impressed with the suspension as well.
Hey man, just installed these on mine as well as blox lca in the rear. I’ve noticed some clunking in the rear on speed bumps and the dip in my driveway, I righted everything while under load n not sure what’s causing it. Did you have any issues like this after install?
Mine does not make any clunking sounds. I see those BLOX arms have poly bushings, so I dont think they are making any extra noise. I am not sure what would be causing it. Good luck, I hope you get it sorted out.
Thanks for the reply, I contacted them and they said the washers need to go on the inside of the lca so I’ll see once I switch them around if it’s any better.
any main differences after a month compared to stock? No issues? Looking at getting eibach as well but I've got the TS (GT equivalent in Aus) so coils is not an option for me. Stock height is just too atrocious

You will have inner toe wear on your tires and have to replace them sooner without LCR's.
Do you only need rear control arm? What about front?
hey man, just did those on my 2019 and only droped 1/2 inch, am a bit dissapointed. Also my mechanic wich is a friend? charged me 620$ cash to do it. How long did it take you to do the mod? Im curious to know how much of a friend he really is. Thanks!
Just curious now about a month later any updates on ride quailty with factory struts and ebiach springs? simlair to stock ride? bumpier? stiffer? etc.
@@JDMRightHandDrive awesome I’ve had them in the past on other cars and tend to agree I like eibach springs, I was wondering if it was worth to buy some coil overs but to me I just don’t see the value in it I’ll never track or auto cross the car personally… so I guess springs for me it will be, I was trying to wait out for a company to make after market struts with some dampening capabilities but seems like that’s gunna be a while still…
Ride is definitely better, feels way more planted, perfect height for me anyway and definitely not as bouncy as stock.
Did u cut the bumpstops??
Whats the specs of the wheels and tires you are running? Did you get any rubbing or scraping? Im thinking of running 18x9.5 et 38 with these springs but Im worried it will rub after watching your video.
My wheels are 18x9+35 and running some 265 35 18 tires. I had to trim my rear plastic factory over fenders. I dont have any scrapping issues. If the car was lower +38 would work better and maybe a 255 max tire width.
That's a base wrx, does it have short throw shifter???
I installed the STI shifter in my car and later swapped the STI out for the Billetworkz set up. m.ua-cam.com/video/JnL-CqMSoeI/v-deo.html&pp=ygUTSmRtIHJoZCBiaWxsZXR3b3Jreg%3D%3D
I just installed mine recently and it’s making a weird noise when I turn left and right is there any advice you can give me to make that noise disappear?
My front suspension does this occasionally as well. I brought this up to Eibach and am not sure if they have done anything to address this.
@@JDMRightHandDrive are they having trouble to do your front wheel alignment??
Is it comfortable enough?

@@JDMRightHandDrive thanks for the reply! Going to get eibach on my one too! can't wait. Was thinking if i would get H&R over Eibach but most people in forums said Eibach is more OEM shock friendly and more comfy
Is that 1” drop? Or more?
Ride Height:
Front: 1" inch lower
Rear: 1.1" inch lower
I wouldn't want it any lower because my front bumper already scraps over things. Good question and thanks for watching.
@@JDMRightHandDrive thanks for the info once I have the car Im gonna copy yours 😂

Great content
Just installed mine over the weekend and now im noticing spring noise binding when turning slowly. Do you have the issue?
I am not experiencing this with my set up. Did you make sure the coil was set correctly against the spring perch on the bottom of the strut? I hope you get it sorted out. Thanks for watching.
@@JDMRightHandDrivewill give it a look after work today. Appreciate your help and what you do for the WRX VB community!

Hmmmmm I changed my order from a 2022 wrx to Elantra N.. still grappling with myself about this decision.. both cars so good
I considered the Elantra N myself as well. I found the interior to be a little tight in the Hyundai and I need that AWD her in the Pacific Northwest. You interior in the Elantra N is so much nicer than the WRX, especially those N seats are awesome. Your right, both cars are awesome. Thanks for watching.
yea hellllll no lol props to you man
Thanks for watching, your band is pretty awesome BTW!
Doesn't seem worth it
Springs are usually never worth it. Ride like shit.
