Why Hollywood don't understand what fans want? We need a copy of the games, atmosphere, story and actors so close as possible to the games... Nothing more!

No, we don't need an exact copy of the games. I'm not looking to get a shot-for-shot remake of them in live-action. That would ultimately be pointless. If you want to watch the game, then just go play it. Stick close to the source material, yes, but they can make SOME changes to where it works better for a film and keeps it fresh. The last movie could have been great but they f*cked it up by doing the characters dirty as ansionnachbeagrioga5260 said, as well as some other questionable choices such as trying to cram the plots of the first two game into one movie. Such a shame. It was ALMOST there.

I mostly like this. The lighting, costumes, camera angles, atmosphere, and actors all work. The blood splatter from the gun shots, not as much, but passable. The voice over is my biggest critique. 7/10
Wow this was amazing! One thing that always bothered me about this scene is that Leon is supposed to be a cop, but doesnt even try to use the radio in the deputy's car to call for backup for that an officer is down or any stuff a cop might do.
Much better than Welcome To Racoon City which disappointed me again like the previous RE movies. I don't know when can we see a real work for this franchise!

Just stumbled upon this. I gotta say, not bad! Not bad at all. The gun shot and the blood spray effects didn't look too good, and I found it interesting that you laid over the audio straight from the game. There are parts where the voice-over dialogue doesn't match up with the actors. Especially the scene with the zombie attacking the Sheriff. Leon shouts "Hey! Get off him! Right now!" but you can see that the actor mouths "What the fuck...". Aside from those two things, I thought this was pretty well done. Very cool to watch!

Não consigo nem imaginar a dificuldade de conseguir aquele carro antigo da polícia no ano que estamos e Como vcs fizeram para conseguir fechar um posto para gravar está intro. A caracterização do posto de gasolina está incrível. Com poucos recursos fizeram algo q o cinema não conseguiu fazer. Trazer a nostalgia extrema do game em um live action. Parabéns!

Aside from the blood this is a very well made intro to the original. I’ve always found a certain charm to the live action parts of re1, and in my opinion the fmv models of the original RE2 don’t hold up very well. It’d be nice to see another project like this but for the original. Great work!

May be next summer.
@Wheel Direction to clarify, by “aside from the blood” I meant the CGI blood from gunshots. The makeup was really convincing, and I don’t deduct points for unrealistic CGI blood in a fan film.

I love the fact this ONE scene is more accurate to a RE game than literally any official RE movie or show lol That said, I do have a few gripes -That cop and cashier shouldn't have died or at least not like that. If they had survived that long, the cashier would be long gone and the cop would have shot the infected. -Two cars passed in the background. I don't know if you could have edit out but it gave the impression one car was heading towards Racoon city and another was leaving. Don't know how Long gets there but the entire city should have been sealed off by the US military by the time Leon shows up. -I know it's a hashback to the original but why would they take police car instead of his own car? Still a highly entertaining trailer nonetheless.
Thank you very Much. - I am agree with you about the cashier and sheriff. but this is a copy paste of the intro, and story is owned by capcom. - Movie shot in front of one of the biggest National Route from France between Paris and Orleans so impossible to close it. - They take police car instead of his own car because this last one is more far than the police Car and Zombies are already too close to risk their lifes. This is an emergency situation so they took the first one. This is Capcom's Story, I just turned it into live action trailer for fun.
Totally agree about you with the last of us. About HBO they are free to watch this video and any other quality fan made but they don't want because it's too hard for a big company to admit a simple teams of citizens could make something better than their regular scenarist and Director.. We'l stay definitely at our place... sad but true story..
I am The Leon in this short cut and agree with you. I'm just a cosplayer who intended to perform his role as best I can, like I played Chris Redfield in a previous fan film ( you can find it in my own playlist ). Hope you enjoyed this one however ;)
