Nita... I just want to say thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience, it's priceless. I have been fighting the swirls and pigtails from a Dewalt palm sander and no matter what I couldnt understand. I used water (not iso alcohol) and I could tell the dust extraction wasnt good also. I looked at one of your previous videos and bought a Bosch GET65-5N and now I think I understand way more. You are awesome, and I love your videos. You really make us new to the game feel like we can do it. You're a badass!!! Subscribed and liked!!!
Nita!!! Thank you so much for this info and sharing this video!! Will be my first sanding on my first ocean cutting board (which you also inspired me to do) today and hoping it works out 🤞
Hello. Love your videos. I am currently doing a 13 inch cigar ashtray and I want the bottom (where the drips went) to be polished. I used painters tape to catch the drips, but I want to polish it since the entire ashtray is made of Walnut where I poured epoxy on the the bottom and the top. The top is fine. Its the bottom that I want to look as clear as the top. What grits should I used from beginning to end? Second what polish do you recommend?
You give the best advice I worked in a cabinet factory for years and sanding is so important
It's super important! I have a few cabinet maker friends, I rent their shop out time to time
