Most definitely. Harder to recuperate from i think(?) I never had a surgery birth. My last was "natural" (as they call it). Only 9 hours, but induced. He was dragging his feet.
Hey I also have a bicornuate uterus. I got so lucky with where my child implanted and he positioned head down and stayed that way so I was able to have him vaginaly. Many scares along the way and talk of having a c-section. It took us 9.5 years to get pregnant. I made it to 39.6 weeks which is impressive in the doctors eyes but I was painfully swollen so the doc decided to induce me. I've thought of making a video of it just because there are so few videos on UA-cam of ladies with a bicornuate uterus and successful pregnancies. My boy is 13 months old now! I'm glad you made this video!
I also do have the same uterus. I was followed closely for the last three months of my pregnancy. No fertility nor delivery problems associated. However I do only have one kidney and severe endometriosis apparently linked to that unusual kind of uterus. Do you also? Much love ❤️ to both Juby and you!!
As a momma who had a home birth, I’m very thankful for you sharing your experience. ❤️ I feel like we, as humans, get really stuck on an either “all natural” vs “sterile hospital” dichotomy. I’ve found it difficult at times to straddle being an advocate natural home/birthing center birth, as well as embracing modern medicine/technology for when it’s needed, plus the wishes and desires for each person. Your family is a beautifully example of how different “sides” can work together. And despite not being your absolute ideal, still have a wonderful, transformative birthing experience. Much love to you all! ❤️❤️❤️
I love how you embrace not only simple beautiful living but the miracles science brings. Mothers are more than incubators, and HOW you became a mother is unimportant in the face of what kind of mother you become. You make informed safe intelligent choices for your own health and safety and that of your family. If only we could convince all do the same. It hurts my heart and makes me so angry when people claiming to be mothers shame other mothers for being safe and sane. It’s even worse when people bully or pressure people into making dangerous choices or guilting them because they didn’t “embrace” birth as a process. The only important aspect of any birth is that mommy and baby come through safe and healthy. I just found your channel, and your energy is so wonderful. Your little one is beautiful and has grown into lovely little toddle monster.
I made a comment about little A being the same age as my youngest and saw this video. They are 19 days apart. C-section momas are warriors too! And it is NOT the easy way out as many like to say. You guys are so refreshing to watch.
Yes, things aren’t always going to go to plan... in the end mama’s fine and beautiful...baby’s fine and beautiful. Dad, Dad’s just plain old proud of his lovely ladies and that’s what life is all about. 💕
I've had 3 c sections. I have 3 beautiful souls I have birthed. Each time I go in it still triggers my anxiety. 2 of my children were premature. My third was a planned c section. Each at a different hospital. The last one was a very calm and peaceful experience. Anyway.. love your videos. Yall have became my favorite channel on here. Much love and light
Love how Justin in some parts is just "studying" Azalea's hands, you can tell he's gonna be a good dad almost instantly! And...Azalea is so comfortable in his arms, it's like she can sense his immediate love for her. 💞 What a lucky little girl she is to have you both for parents!
Every decision you make as a parent will be judged by people who don't know your situation... It doesn't matter how she comes into the world, all that matters is that she is safe and loved. Congrats! Enjoy the insane journey that is parenthood x
Justin and juby you guys have the most precious baby ever, she's beautiful, godless her, I love you guys, so down to earth and very real. I wish you guys nothing but the best life has to offer, and remember guys, in the beginning times can be hard and frustrating, it's a part of life, But, things get better and better as go along and work on it. And when you look back at your memories, and watch your Azalea grow older, you'll have nothing but a smile on your face. And good feelings, make the best of things and enjoy and have fun in your journeys/adventures.🐣🍀🌹🌷🌸🌺🌼🌿😄
Oh this brought back memories of when mine were just born. I know you're disappointed you didn't have a natural birth, I was too (3 C-sections for me) but what's important is that she's here, she's healthy, you're healthy and now the adventure begins! All the best for you and yours.
I have a bicornuate uterus too 💜 I had the same natural birth plans and had only 3 weeks to prepare mentally.... there is disappointment but the most important thing is that you are both healthy and happy. My son is almost 11 already! Blessings on your family!
Its so nice to hear a natural mama having a planned c section. I have bloodclotting disorders and had to schedule 2 c sections for my kiddos. So many people told me it was the easy way out. Very very untrue. Sending hugs ❤❤
Can you imagine how many women went through all this horrible birthing due to not having the medical technology back in the days? I am so appreciative of the technology we have to see if a baby is breached and how our uterus is to plan the best birth possible. Beautiful baby for a beautiful family!
Congratulations to you both on the birth of that beautiful little girl. My wife had to have cesarean sections for all three of our children. With the first one, we were disappointed but the arrival of our child far outweighed that disappointment. You are in for a lifetime of milestones and special moments that will more than make up for it. My advice to you is to not miss a thing. That little angel is going to grow up so fast. My youngest just turned 25. Enjoy every day, love her and each other, and revel in each of her accomplishments as a family. I'm so happy for you. Thanks so much for sharing.
Congratulations beautiful Maness family, your new baby is so precious and you look like you've all been together forever, as indeed, I am sure you have. Many Blessings Forever!
wow, i just discovered the video you posted about 15 hours ago randomly and have been BINGING straight from the beginning of your channel since and absolutely teared up at this video. congratulations first off!!! how sweet to see azalea as a newborn, boy has she grown! What an amazing lifestyle you guys live, I have never seen anything like it and i am so intrigued! I just needed to comment because I think your both so amazing and wanted to send some love and positivity your way. Anywhoo - onto your next video! (Im so excited to see Azalea grow throughout the next few hours of watching hahhaha)
I just found your channel a few days ago and have let these play randomly while I sew. I commented on the first one I saw because my buggy is the same age. Turns out she's the exact same age! This brought back the memories.
Everything happens for a reason, I’m so happy you have such a beautiful baby! I’m the same way with surgery, it’s horrifying. You are so brave! So strong! And so amazing!! I am so happy everyone is happy and healthy!
My baby girl was born November 14th! My husband and I are looking into bus/van life and i came across your channel, so happy to have inspiration from a grounded family like yours! Xoxox
YAY! So glad you are all happy and home. Your little nuget is beautiful! I had to have an emergency c-section with my 3rd and last child. He was a football player at birth, I'm 4'11" and he weighed almost 10 lbs and was 23" long! So I was all baby and that wasn't happening naturally. Just so glad that she is healthy. I love seeing all of your videos as I want to do bus life in the near future. Hugs to you all 💜🧡
I can't believe I missed seeing this video. I was able to be my daughters partner when she had my grandson 15mths ago. I reread some books to be prepared to offer support to her. She was able to do natural with epideral help because her labour was 30hrs total. In the last hr when he was just into the birth canal he pinched the umbilical cord. It was a little scary for a few mins, they were able to rock him a bit to get it unpinched. It was such a unique experience not being the one giving birth. Seems just like yesterday. Hoping your up into Ontario canada one day so Azalea can meet my little Liam ❤
This is by dar my favorite video i have had 3 kids and it doesn't matter hos many kids you have its a miracle every time and i cry every time and theres magic every time
I have had an emergency c section and a planned one. I will tell you the first time around when it was an emergency one it was scary and rushed. I was in labor for along time. It was a terrible recovery. The planned one was so much better. Recovery went amazing. I didn't have to worry about anything to bad happening during delivery because it was planned out and they got her out before it could happen. There are so many different ways labor can go. You have to definitely be open to changing plans. You have a beautiful family.
I have the same situation, plus a vaginal septum, and went through the same scenario. I have grown two beautiful boys, with scheduled cesareans. Thank you for sharing your story.
I am having bicornate/septate uterus... Happy that i can also become mother.... I thought i never would be....and go for operation to cut the middle wall in the uterus
Congratulations! Our kids were both cesarean section as well. The first was unplanned. I remember my wife being a little disappointed too, but 24+ years later there is just joy. I always think of it this way - as the dad - if the same set of circumstances had presented themselves for us, but 30 years earlier, I likely would have lost both my wife and my daughter that day. I feel very fortunate for the cesarean and the quality medical care to have brought both of them through essentially normally.
When we go camping in our tent and its 40 degrees out we use our My Buddy heater with a hose and 20lb tank. It has a oxygen and c02 sensor. If we keep it on low it last us days. Not sure of this would be practical for your situation just a thought. The heater Is like 80 and the hose 15, the tank 25. CONGRATULATIONS she is perfect ♡♡
My oldest is 17 and her birth was so not what I wanted. I dreamed of doing the Bradley method natural all the way. Needless to say that did not come to pass and it took me a year to really heal from that. I am so glad for your beautiful family. Thank you for sharing.
Such a great story. Maybe one day it will be in the cards for me, & I found this quite helpful as well as entertaining. May you all have many many blessings!❤
Hey .. Congratulations ...what a bundle of sweetness. Isn't it a relief to know she has all of her fingers and toes etc. I hope you were lucky enough to experience the warm rush of maternal love as she was placed in your arms post birth. I was in awe when my daughter was born ... really special. So glad that you chose the appropriate medical intervention unique to your situation and weren't so rigid that you would have most likely risked brain damage as a direct corollary to probable oxygen deprivation that a difficult birth can manifest. I know it can be disappointing that your birth experience is not what you planned but her well-being and pre - and post - natal health is so important and, I think, supercedes your lifestyle choices. We are lucky that as women in the 21st Century we have so many options in a developed nation such as the USA (and New Zealand where I come from). Lots of women do not get the array of choices you had or access to the health care we do. Now comes the reality of baby care .......!! You have had many comments about your macrame bassinet - and no wonder - it is fekkin amazing. Just be careful the little cloth elephant is not hanging too low as the threaded beads on the end can/will (!) be pulled off by grasping mitts as she grows and are definitely a choking hazard. I'm not a "Nervous Nelly " type and did not cotton wool my daughter by a long shot but you do need to be mindful that the mouth is used often as play/exploration developes. I remember my daughter mouthing worms under the lemon tree to check them out ! Thank you for filming your beautiful baby. So precious.
I love hearing birth stories! It's nice that y'all advocate for mid-wives. I had a great experience w/ midwives and a doula (not so much with a Dr. I found out was hovering in the hallway telling the midwife to hurry me up (!))
Thank you for sharing, very informational. It's like you guys got to experience birth in 2 different ways. The holistic approach and through C-section. Your family was blessed enough to make the decision instead of it being unexpected :) Truly beautiful souls you have.
It is SO ABOUT TIME!!! I pretty much knew your baby was being born but I was still worried because you haven't posted in a while. Congratz and so many happy thoughts and wishes to you! So happy for you all three!!!
Thank you for sharing. I'm almost 9 weeks and just found out that I also have a bicornuate uterus. I live in a small town and no one has seen this before. They've made it seem all doom and gloom, and honestly, I'm terrified. It's nice to see a success story from someone who has the same condition. Congratulations! 😀
Justin looks like Jason Momoa's younger bro...lol 😀 Wonderful ,lovely and beautiful family ,may God bless and protect you always. Greetings from Algeria/Italy 🌹❤️
Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby girl!! All that hair! 😍 I miss that baby stage so much! My babies are 6, 13, 16, and 19-all girls. Enjoy every second and soak it all up, they grow far too fast. 🤗 Sending love to your beautiful family. 💖
I was just talking about y'all last night lol!, I'm going back and watching the videos I've missed, and this one will forever be one of my favorites!!! Prayers up and much love always for you and yours❤
Congratulations on the birth of Azalea! So happy for you both to have her arrive safely. How she's born doesn't matter, as long as you are feeling good then all's well. I'm pleased that Azalea is feeding well and growing fast, it's a lovely feeling breast feeding, just have a jug of water next to you as you will be very thirsty. The baby looks beautiful in the cradle, I hope your first photo is printed and put up in a special place. Hugs to you both, sleep when the baby does.
@@julianajubyyasmine I would of had more but I had more risks on future more. So we had a huge decision and decided we couldn't risk it. So 5 was our last but I've heard of others having 8.
@@julianajubyyasmine and our son was born Nov 16th 2018! We named our son Aspen after the tree and also after Colorado. I have sectionsdue to my pelvis bone is much smaller and ant get baby out learned that the worse way possible.
You are so blessed, I’m glad it went well. I’ve seen breach babies being born naturally, but yes I understand the risk. What a blessing for preparation as well. Thank you for sharing.
Xaforn Breech birth has killed more babies than you realize, often taking the mother as well. Birth is terrifyingly dangerous when complications arise and that’s the reason lifespans used to average so low, so many dying at birth or giving birth.
I had the natural water birth and it was wonderful. However apparently my midwife didn’t believe in hospitals at all, which I didn’t know. I almost bled to death in my dining room after giving birth to my daughter, then I passed out and hit my head leading to some brain damage. I was five minutes from death. I’m so lucky I survived. Just putting it out there that it was so good that you were safe and had a good birth, even if it wasn’t the way you wanted. 💕
I've been watching your videos for a little while, but I'm watching this for the first time. Thank you for sharing your c-section story! I am currently expecting and I have just found out that I will probably have to have a c-section because of a medical issue that makes vaginal birth risky. I've been really struggling with the idea of it, but this gives me some comfort. Thank you. ❤️
Besides your accent (which I love 🥰), you saying 6 lbs 17 ounces, gave it away that you were not born and raised in the US. I just joined your channel, and I’ll check to see if I can find where you’re from 😊. I’m originally from Belgium, but I’ve lived in the US for 38 years. People still hear my accent and ask where I’m from 😉. What a beautiful way to live your life guys
TY for sharing your true fears about surgery. I thought I was alone. Last yr I had shoulder repair surgery and my anxiety was raising my blood pressure weeks b4. It was bad. So 3 months after surgery, I popped a pin so I get to do it again. I will think of you pre-surgery and maybe it'll help - ha. But..its always good for one to know they are not alone in their fears/anxieties. I was told once, 80% of our fears dont come true. I focus on the other 20 lol
I had my babies in a birthing center by a midwife, no drugs and had 8lb+ babies! I was so happy that I went that way! I just didn't want my kids coming out drugged!!! They are now 32& 34 and my youngest is mama now!
Congratulations! Glad everyone is happy and healthy! A new baby is the best! If you need a lactation consultant message me any questions, anytime! Best of luck on the new phase of life!
WOW, I'm so happy your ok and the baby is ok! She is beautiful! Congratulations to you both! I love her name! just keep her wrapped up tight and she will do great! I can already tell Daddy is so happy and proud! She will have him wrapped around her little fingers! Oh and also you don't have to be quiet she will do better with normal daily activity sounds! Only 3 things that make babies cry is cold hungry or dirty diaper oh and of course sick! Again congratulations! WOW, I know how your feeling and it is surreal!
So how cool is it that my birthday is November 16th so the day after your sweet angel....❤ I had 2 c sections one was planned but the other was emergency both my babies were breeched ....both my babies were in the 6 pound range and they didnt lose weight either... I personally like the c section you can ask for a certain day when they are planned and i healed fast and easy....
I have the same uterus 😉👍 Didn’t have a c section. All amazing very lucky. Only four hours of labor two weeks before due date. It was ten years ago. However today have very bad endometriosis. They told me it could be linked 🤷♀️😘
Hugs Juby, I had a very similar situation w/ my first baby - we tried everything to change his position but he was totally Stuck, yes so much to learn as a first time parent, yes highly recommend a doula & birthing classes but I’m happy to report 2 nd baby was a successful vaginal birth w/ no drugs, enjoy her , such a beautiful baby & name Hello From Phoenix, AZ wishing you lots of ✌️ & ❤️ Marta
Azelea has such a great male figure, heaven help the man that has to live up to that.
A Belly Birth is no less a Birth, just as powerful, just as transforming and just as special ❤️

Ina May Gaskin is the birth author/ Midwife I'd definitely recommend to anyone to read her books. Her stories from the farm are fascinating.
It is SO ABOUT TIME!!! I pretty much knew your baby was being born but I was still worried because you haven't posted in a while. Congratz and so many happy thoughts and wishes to you! So happy for you all three!!!
Little baby gingerloaf!!! SHES SO CUTE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! 🍞🍞🍞

Beautiful family. I lovebaby Azaleas bed
God bless glad all is well and you and your family are ok thanks for sharing your story
Sweet..
Also I seen u braid her swing sleeper stunning work.💋
Our babies are the same age, both born via C-section 💜 love your videos

She’s beautiful! 💗💗💗 Congratulations 🎉
I've had 5 c sections. I only had one scary 1 that was my 2nd. Glad everything went good and you guys are home.
Congratulations, I know this was a while ago but still!
Happy birthday Azalea!!!!
That baby is so beautiful 1🥰
Congratulations, God Bless!!
Congratulations! I'm happy for you. May God bless you guys with many of more years to come. ❤😍😘🥰💕
You all are looking so beautiful. So glad all worked out well and you have your little nugget. ❤️
Thank you. ❤️
I had a Snoopy when I was born too! Had him for twelve years, he went around the world with me. IDK how he disappeared 🤷🏼♀️
aw she’s a mini nugget 🥺😍
Thank you for sharing. I have this condition and I’m so nervous.
Love the name beautiful family so happy I subscribed
Congratulations!!! Such a beautiful and amazing family
What a beautiful way to live your life guys
i just found your instagram and then youtube and i'm totally in love with you guys!!! sending so much love and health to you three!!
Congrats on the birth of the little one!!!
Congratulations 🎉. She is precious💖
You 3 are beautiful! If I were you I'd check out what Rolling Vistas did for their windows to keep it warmer in their bus. Be well and take good care.
Congratulations on the Baby
Congratulations!!! Glad in the end ...All Is Well.
You guys are gonna be awsomely cool parents.
Bless up🙏
TY for sharing your true fears about surgery.
So how cool is it that my birthday is November 16th so the day after your sweet angel....❤
I had 2 c sections one was planned but the other was emergency both my babies were breeched ....both my babies were in the 6 pound range and they didnt lose weight either... I personally like the c section you can ask for a certain day when they are planned and i healed fast and easy....
Lots of love and wishes to the New Life....😘😘
I m hoping you reach 100k soon like really soon....
I have the same uterus 😉👍 Didn’t have a c section. All amazing very lucky. Only four hours of labor two weeks before due date. It was ten years ago. However today have very bad endometriosis. They told me it could be linked 🤷♀️😘
Congrats to you both ❤
Thank you so much for sharing! You guys are amazing ❤️
What a divinely gorgeous little pumpkin!!
No such thing as an unnatural birth..... just saying. Healthy baby is all that matters.
