Great analysis. As a side note, drive by wire systems are great...when they work. They are undoubtedly one of the most unnecessary electronic systems ever developed. A great engineer makes complex things simple, not the other way around. Also, I'm dealing with a TAC system giving me fits right now
Thank you. I disagree on the “unnecessary” statement. As emission controls thresholds continued to tighten, this system became an important solution. For the most part, these systems are pretty reliable and safe.
I have a code for p1518 and I had just cleaned my throttle body because it was idling rough and when I’m at a stop sign sometime it still be wanting to go instead of staying stopped. It only does it sometimes. And it’s using a lot of gas. What could that be?

The tac motor is in the throttle body?
@@larryterhaar6576 Yes, this is correct.
Were you able to find why it set the P2135 TP1 & TP2 correlation fault?
After replacing the throttle body and pigtail connector, all problems disappeared.
Thank you Scott. Good job. Have a blessed and safe week to you and your family.
Billy Yoder thanks for the kind words!
