@@knightlighter2532 Nah it makes total sense. There are definitely too many sword/staff trap masters and with how unique Short Cut's weapon is, he had to be kept in the roster.

I typically do something similar to this every time I play a Skylanders game…I choose one from each element or battle class as my ‘team’ and start playing with all figures at level 1. All the other figures stay in storage until I get to Nightmare mode when I need reinforcements to complete the final boss battle(s). Then, if I decide to have another play through I’ll bring in a second team to play with…starting from scratch (level 1) with than second team.
I better see Fling Kong and Slam Bam here! This feels like a cast that will get reposes in Skylanders 7. I think Cuckoo Clocker should have been utilized instead of Broccoli Guy who is weak.
Dam you cut all my favourite dragon ish skylanders from the original 32 (bash,drobot,zap and camo but he came back later) but I’m fine with spyro, cynder and Whirlwind. Also sunburn get hardly any love but he’s still a decent skylander in my eyes
Easy, Magic, Tech, Water and Fire. 3 for the Starter pack in SSA, and they like having equals and opposites, and so the opposite of water is fire, therefore it stays. As for adding an additional element, picking between Light and Dark, I'd say they'd have chosen Light (dropping the whole opposites thing). Light just seems like more a heroic element, over the dark which is turned into a literal antagonist force known simply as "the darkness" in Superchargers, so Light would've just sounded like the more appealing element. Leaving us with 5 of the 10 elements, Magic, Tech, Tech and Fire. That's my opinion on the matter anyway. ;)
I agree with most of your choices. Igknight the fire, you are based. And that is coming from somebody much more charming than Captain Flynn. You are based for keeping Whirlwind and obviously Knight Light in. I, Russian Knight Light wants to knight you. As a dedication to your giga-chadness I will play as Ignitor for my next chapter of the Skylanders Giants Alpha
I find the design to have slight similarities to Ignitor. I still like Blast Zone's design, but compared to Fire Kraken, a Chinese new years dragon is more colourful, more culturally enriching and more fun. as always though, you're perfectly entitled to your own opinion. ;)
A nuzlocke using the halfed cast you picked for any game would make a good steam series

Perhaps, if each game was cheaper to get everything for, the series would've no doubt got on less people's nerves.

I would have thrown in the top halves for the cut swappers instead. But otherwise, this is the best.
