My husband is actually totally really addicted to that chicken chili. It, zuppa Toscana, and meatloaf are the 3 things that convince him I'm a cooking angel 😇
I’m a single stay at home Mum of a 7 month old little girl from Australia and I love watching your videos it’s so cool seeing American style recipes and I love your accent 💕
Quick suggestions.. if you want your kids to eat vegetables, chop /shred them very small and stuff that in basically anything and they won't even notice it
@@shirala1972 i am 23 years old and mature to know better yet i still don't eat my vegetables 😅🤣 why do you think young children who don't know any better will 🤣🤣
Love watching and getting meal inspiration from you and others. Y'all fill my meal plan with delicious recipes. Definitely going to try a few of these.
I used to make swiss steak all of the time back in the 80s and 90s. I don't know why I stopped making it. Seeing you make it really inspired me to make it again and this time I will put in the carrots.. Sometimes I would add bell peppers too for a change. Making it pepper steak.
I’m so impressed with how you always come up with something new to try! That’s something I really struggle with. Also what you said about sometimes having to spend more on an ingredient but it’s still cheaper than eating out-so true! Never thought of it that way. Really enjoy your videos, been watching for years but never comment.
I had no idea that Pillsbury had mini pizza crusts. I'm sure that's not in any of my local stores. That would actually be nice to make mini pizzas with and put that in the freezer. If I wanted to do that now, my best bet would be to get Rhodes' dinner rolls, thaw that and then roll those out, all of which take time.
I've tried white chicken chili once before and wasn't a fan...but your recipe looks amazing! Definitely going on the menu next shopping trip! All looks so good!
I made white chicken chili last week too and l’m making pork chops right now as l watch this. 😋 Thank you for keeping me company in the kitchen today! 😁🤗
Hi, Kristin. When you began the Swiss steak recipe, I loved that you mentioned the price of the steak and how you made the analogy that, yes, it is expensive but still cheaper then taking the whole family out for a meal. For quite a while, I've taken that same thought when weighing an expensive item and whether to buy it or not (it's usually always about meat). I always tell myself it's cheaper than going out to eat and then make my choice. Your charcutier board was so cute. I'm gonna write down the recipe for that dip. Thanks for sharing, and have a great upcoming week, dear one.
The 2nd dinner you made sounds very familiar to Swiss Steak ?? Served over noodles is the best way with sour cream on top :) An old Hungarian favorite !! According to an "Old" recipe my mom gave me--you cut the beef into bite size pieces and then cook.
We had Swiss steak a lot growing up, ours was a little different though. No carrots, and lots of onions. But I know you hate onions! And we ate it over rice. Otherwise pretty similar.
Nice ideas. That enchilada sauce you used I used to pay .89. I saw it at Kroger the other day for $2.49! I about fell out. I’m glad I have a stocked pantry because you could seriously go broke buying groceries
I’ll definitely be trying these they all look amazing! I’ve watched your videos for a for a long time, I look forward to them so many ideas! I can’t remember seeing a recipe for your pulled pork do you have one for that? Love from DC❤
Can not even wait to make those pork chops! I’ve been looking for a Swiss Steak recipe forever! My mother used to make this all the time when I was little. I know she didn’t use carrots but I’m sure they gave some great flavor!😊
I know Kristin doesn’t like onions, but I slice up onion rings and put them between the layers of 🥩 and cover the top with onions, the sweetness from the tomato sauce tames the onions down and makes them really sweet and delish!
Call me crazy or maybe I've just got Halloween on the brain. While you were making the second recipe, the pork chop one. When you poured the first cup of cream into the pan, it looked like a Witch Walking with one arm in front of her and one behind! 🤣
I made the chilli with hotdogs that you posted awhile ago and it’s my son’s favourite meal now! He normally doesn’t like any red sauce pasta’s but he loved it so much that he requested I make it again the following night after his first bite ❤
I made that dip before it was like a pumpkin cheesecake version using the cheesecake flavored pudding mix & I set our graham crackers & ginger snaps to dip in great idea for the vanilla wafers it’s easy & delicious great recipe video 🥰🥰😘💕
The recipe i use for Swiss steak calls for a can of tomato soup instead of diced tomatoes and it makes for a creamier sauce. I know you don't like the texture of tomatoes from your previous videos 🙂 its so good!
I always bring that pumpkin dip to work for thanksgiving parties and also as an app for my fam. If u take out the cream cheese it’s a good “app” lol not rlly😊 still sweet but less thick
Why did you need to greede the outside of the ramekins ? I thought you were going to be doing something with food on the outsides. It seems you don't really need to do that .. ? I'm confused lol
I think the wonderful dish of chili has earned a right not to have something with chicken and no tomatoes or even chili peppers named after it. Call it ridiculous and petty but that's not chili. Whoever couldn't come up with its own name for it failed. At best it's a version of bean soup. Lol it may be good in its own right but if so, it should have had it's own name. Pet peeve of mine right up there with calling something made of veggies a "burger" which stems from hamburger. Great video, and the above not directed at you lol. Just my own general issue with calling such chili lol.
I actually want to try the chili minus some broth I don't like liquidy chilly but that's personal preference However you nearly gave me a heart attack paying $15 for steak to mutilate them 🤣 I'd def get a cheaper like chuck steak if you want to have again 🤷
Lol the steaks a little pricey? 🤣 that's cheap...chicken here alone is over $20 and thats the cheapest meat you can get lol but you think a $13 steak is pricey? Please tell me where you live so I can move there lol
Don't ever use "Cube" Steak....It is the left overs from the best cuts of beef and formed into a "steak" .......full of grizzle and fat....not meant for human consumption in my opinion :)
I love your combinations. Always something different. Nice.
Thank you ❤

Those pork chops looked so yummy! I make a hash with leftover pulled pork, I use sweet potatoes, peppers and red onion and top with fried eggs.
The pizzas! Omg I’m going to do these!! Your meals are always so amazing.
