You gotta try frying just a regular flour tortilla! 😋 Do it the same way you did the chalupa shell and it'll be delicious!! You can use the larger ones like you wanted and you don't have to look for that special package. This is my favorite way to eat tacos on my family's taco night. Hope you try it and love it!
I totally agree! My mother would fry the corn tortilla ones in an old taco shaped metal utensil, when that broke she started using the flour tortilla ones instead of the corn ones to fry and our family loved them! They reminded me of the ones from a restaurant that are rolled up and stuffed. 😋
A tip for pizza 🍕I only found about a year ago is to put the raw sausage directly on the pizza it only needs about 7 to 10 min in the oven and it doesn't dry out or burn. Great trick for Peta or Tortious on tortio make sure to put on cheese and let it melt down before putting on sauce or you will have a soggy mess.

I like the Litehouse Mighty Caesar dressing. It's tangy and garlicky and delicious! And puff pastry is a great crust for pot pies, when you only want to use a top crust. So good!

I do a similar recipe with puff pastry. I scramble up the ground beef. And onion, mushrooms and seasoning. Then I add beef gravy. Not a ton. Then I slice the puff pastry in thirds. Fill it with the beef mixture use egg white and sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake. We call it home ,are hot pockets.

Will try the roast with risotto for sure. I love to put fresh chopped tomatoes in my risotto in the summer time. I have it a lot with grilled chicken and broccoli - simple, tasty meal. I alway make extra risotto and take it for lunch the next day. It's really good as a main dish with chopped ham in it too. I've never had cafeteria pizza - so easy! And the boursin chicken, I have everything for that one - may be our Sunday lunch... I've been supplementing beans a lot as meat prices have just gotten out of hand. All my tacos, taco salads now have a mix of black and pinto beans as my base instead of meat. I can those 2 myself and they're already cooked when I open the jars to prep everything, just a little heating with cheese makes it happen. Thanks for sharing all your food, the different lunches you prepare and your hauls! Great suggestions all the way around.

Okay I don't normally comment on alot but let me tell you I made the boursin chicken tonight and my whole family loved it and my kids are soooo picky! My chicken was really thick so I doubled the sauce and used 2 cheese! The sauce was really good over my broccoli too! Definitely an every month meal! Thank you soooo much! Gonna try the meatballs tomorrow if I'm able to find the pastry!

That isn't blood on the plate. That is condensation and browning from the outside of the chicken. Her chicken was done and the juices were clear and not red.
I hate Pintrest. I cannot figure out how to retrieve a recipe from there. I followed Kristin's link for the first dish. It shows a couple of photos, a "Follow" button and a "Save" button. I have very specific memories of my mother making my lunches and eating whatever she put there. Maybe I am being too philosophical, but why do we now have to be so concerned that what the kiddos have in their lunches will be loved? I ate everything there because I was hungry. Mine don't do that. They either throw it out or trade. I stay confused on this.
And, Kristin, this is purely my problem! Not yours to solve at all!!! I just felt the need to connect with other parents that may have a similar situation. I just don't know why a couple of strawberries would be traded for a chocolate candy is a better choice when I send so many positive suggestions on healthy choices.

You can make a hot cocoa mix with that milk powder plus cocoa powder and sugar 😅 or you can use it in homemade sandwich bread 😊

They are thin and it’s to her taste. I would not want a heavy hand seasoning my food.
Maybe because the boursin cheese sauce was flavored with garlic and herbs already.

Alouette is very similar to Boursin. It’s less expensive!👍😋😋
I’ve never heard of that, I’ll have to look! That’s the only downside of the Boursin, it being on the pricey side.
