My wife of 42 years passed away last week. I came across your YT Channel while searching how to declutter a house. I have watched hours, and hours and hours of your videos. Cleaning, cooking, shopping. It is all up to me now. I think I have this! - new subscriber from central Florida.
I feel like you should do a memorial video for the garlic powder when it’s gone. Like an In Memoriam of all the dishes you used it in with “In the Arms of an Angel” playing in the background. 😂
The quinoa bowl is something I've made sooo many times for meal prep, but I also put in a pound of ground turkey and a packet of taco seasoning. Top with sour cream, cheese, cilantro and salsa. Avocado if you're feeling fancy.
Hi, I'm from India. And i love You and your blog. I don't get any of your ingredients not we eat your good recipes HOwever I Love U and Your Channel...just your shear Energy and Enthusiasm... I'm a big fan of you and frugal fit dad! Love you so so so much . ..❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oklahoma had horrible storms over the weekend and just got our power back on last night. Three days without refrigeration really put things in perspective. The average person doesnt have a generator so grilling up what we had was the only cooking method.
It is so funny how people differ. I use garlic powder on seriously everything, even if I use fresh garlic. I never use squeeze ginger though because fresh ginger is so cheap and easy to grate over the microplane (no peeling required!).
Christine, I recently saw one of your videos where you said you were working on 100 grams of protein a day. After hearing that, I did some research on the benefits. I am following Weight Watchers & have heard the same thing from many subscribers there. In addition, I had a right shoulder replacement 3 days ago & my surgeon also recommends eating a lot of protein around that same amount per day. I was a little shy of my goal tonight, so I made this up on the fly & it’s delicious. It’s 1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese, 1/8 cup of Grape Nuts, 1/2 T reduced sugar preserves, cinnamon & sweetener to taste. My hubby put it all in a bowl & stirred it up & WOW it is really good!! BTW, I love your channel & I’ve learned so much from you, even though I’ve been cooking for my family for almost 50 years.
One pot meals are great and the so convenient for summer - less heat! Nice tip on the 0 minute cooking for the Shrimp and Broccoli. Cajun Chicken and Pasta can't go wrong with that❤ Curry coming in a close 2nd😉
Great ideas. Thank you. I'm excited to try these. I love the way you are so real. The dropping of the lime squeezer and the sauce curdled...it happens to us all!
Oh they all look good except the shrimp one because I don’t like shrimp but I really want to try the taco one that one looks like my favorite so thanks for the inspiration!
A quick and easy family meal I make is chicken parm sandwiches. Put chicken strips or tenders in the airfryer, put them on a hoagie roll or bun, and top with pizza sauce and cheese. Serve sliced cucumber or other fresh veggies on the side
Currently 9 weeks pregnant with a 3 year old at home. The nausea is real so lots of cooking and dishes is not in the cards for me most nights. One pot meals are saving me right now. Thanks for the inspo! Also, the worm comparison for the chicken was not helping the sick feeling. 😂
I am STILL making your sheet pan Hawaiian-Chicken-with-no-skewers recipe and STILL getting raves!!! From this vid I think I will try the Instant Pot Shrimp & Broccoli coz that is right up our alley. Love your food videos coz they give me ideas and get me out of a rut 🥰
Next time start with salmon skin side down and cook 75% if the way spooning the butter over. You’ll end up with a salmon skin “pork rind” so yummy!! Saw it on Tyler Florence years ago. ❤
You made two dishes that I've always been surprised to never see you make, especially the Cajun chicken pasta. It's is one of my family's go-to one-pot meals - at least once or twice a month. I use penne, chicken broth and cream cbeese to keep the cost down. And since you all like the SPICE, I've always wondered if maybe you didn't care for curry, but boom - there it is! Yum! FYI - Your channel was the first one I started following back when I found YT in 2019, and it's still one of my favorite!!!
Christine, you are so funny! Love your videos. Thank you for the yummy recipes. I'm gonna try them all. My husband will learn to like broccoli! lol Every time I use my IP I think of you. I learned about the lid holder thingy from you! 🙂
all of them! But I think tonight the spaghetti but will use crushed tomatoes instead since my kids don’t like chunks of tomatoes in their spaghetti! And maybe the chicken and orzo tomorrow night ! Love the video!!
Can you do a video all about good summer meals? Like I do not want to turn on my oven and only use my stove very minimally. We don’t have AC right now and cooking raises the temperature of the whole house significantly!
Bit of an odd question, but I noticed you use quite a lot of those pre packed salad kits… do you ever do anything with them other than just serving them as salad? Would be interesting to see what you could come up with!
I make that quinoa recipe but I dump everything in the instant pot for 1 minute then natural release! So easy! Can you tey to make more meatless meals? That would be fun to see.
Have you ever noticed an “imperfect fruit/vegetable” section at your Kroger? I discovered one at mine this morning (hidden on the back side of the banana display) and got a bag with 2 yellow squash and 2 zucchini for 98 cents!

So sorry for your loss. Be strong.
Thinking of you and your wife would be so proud!
Sorry about your wife ❤️ Think of this as a new adventure! There’s always more to learn…
I am so sorry. Prayers for you. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
So sorry for your loss, but glad you have found a silver lining for your new living situation.

LOL!
I’m SO HAPPY to see a cooking video again! I’m here for them and there’s been too few lately
“This is easier and I don’t want to” = my life motto 🤣
Life is just so chaotic and busy that you are saving me right now with how easy these are. Thank you, thumbs up for the algorithm!

We lost power for 10 days and I learned to use my grill for everything. I even baked bread and a cake in it with the lid closed on med-low 🍞🎂 😊
Yes I LOVE one pot meals. Please send more.
Mom energy overload.
I get so excited about one pot dishes. 😊
I just found your channel. I'm having a lot of fun binge watching your videos.
Still looks Delicious, the pasta and Salmon.
I truly appriciated the quinoa recipe! I have that stuff, but rarely know how to cook with it. Thanks for the tip about rinsing it well too!❤
It is so funny how people differ. I use garlic powder on seriously everything, even if I use fresh garlic. I never use squeeze ginger though because fresh ginger is so cheap and easy to grate over the microplane (no peeling required!).
And there is sugar added to that ginger!
thx for the vegan Quinoa Mexican Bowl-recipe!🤩
I love these types of mid priced regular meals!! Thank you!!!

I can't do spice, so I'm glad that it is customizable for that!
Christine and family have a great week have fun thanks from Oklahoma
I can’t wait to try the shrimp and broccoli! I bet some water chestnuts stirred in at the end would be good too.

Use garlic powder, chili powder, salt, paprika, powdered onion to make your own taco and fajita seasoning mixes.

Thanks so much for the free recipes!
I was hoping you would be able to pour the rest of the garlic powder in. You are so close!!! Keep us posted. I need closure on this. 😆
Oh they all look good except the shrimp one because I don’t like shrimp but I really want to try the taco one that one looks like my favorite so thanks for the inspiration!
Did you know that Uncle Tony has marinades??? Oh yes ma’am! Pork, chicken, beef, steak, seafood…so many! A must try for a Tony’s lover!
A quick and easy family meal I make is chicken parm sandwiches. Put chicken strips or tenders in the airfryer, put them on a hoagie roll or bun, and top with pizza sauce and cheese. Serve sliced cucumber or other fresh veggies on the side

They are all my favorite 🇨🇦
Love the shrimp one.

I bought that pepper too and it took me months to use it up but I finally did last week. So glad to finally get it out of my kitchen 😂
Love your cooking videos!
Super excited to try the taco spaghetti! YUM!
Love the food videos!!
Thank you for the recipes
I’m pretty sure taco pasta (I don’t have spaghetti) is going to be dinner tonight!
The shrimp & broccoli looked so good! I don’t have an instant pot though. Has anybody tried it on the stove or crock pot?
I wouldn’t mind low cost dinners cooking for one with few left overs thanks
Thanks for sharing the recipes
Christine, you are so funny! Love your videos. Thank you for the yummy recipes. I'm gonna try them all. My husband will learn to like broccoli! lol Every time I use my IP I think of you. I learned about the lid holder thingy from you! 🙂

Yum on the curry chicken thighs!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Another fab video! I'll be trying all of these! (Along Came Polly - excellent movie!)

Watching from Ripon, WI. Enjoy your videos.
GREAT recipes! I'm super excited to try the Cajun chicken and instant pot shrimp & broccoli.
That Chicken Curry looks delicious. I don’t have an instant pot do you have any recommendations on cooking time and heat in a slow cooker?
What a great video!
Bit of an odd question, but I noticed you use quite a lot of those pre packed salad kits… do you ever do anything with them other than just serving them as salad? Would be interesting to see what you could come up with!
The salmon and shrimp dishes are my favorite.#islandgal🇧🇸
I make that quinoa recipe but I dump everything in the instant pot for 1 minute then natural release! So easy! Can you tey to make more meatless meals? That would be fun to see.
I like everyone of them, I don’t have a insta pot, what else can you cook this in.
Love all your videos. But no instant pot in my house. Sorry I’m old school. But luv my crockpot.
I'll probably try the salmon dish first. I make a dish similar to your taco spaghetti, using elbow macaroni instead.
My dog LOVES raw pasta, I think it's the crunch factor.
great meals! you should try sauteeing the spices first - it really brings out the flavour!
I saw someone else on YT make a taco pasta with cheese tortellini. I tried it and it was excellent. I'm sure it's great with spaghetti as well.
Have you ever noticed an “imperfect fruit/vegetable” section at your Kroger?
I discovered one at mine this morning (hidden on the back side of the banana display) and got a bag with 2 yellow squash and 2 zucchini for 98 cents!
great meals!
Love your one pot wonders. They all looked so yummy. ❤❤
