I love how everyone has Dutch pots these days too. 👌🏻
Why is it so satisfying to watch someone else cook?! 🍳🤣🙈
Loved this weeks video. A hint for the hash browns, add a good amount of oil to the griddle first. I love using coconut oil because it's great for high temperatures. The potatoes need the fat to fry up.
You have to par-cook the hashbrowns first to get the water out because that keeps them from frying correctly. You just put them in a paper towel-lined dish in the microwave and heat them for 2 minutes BEFORE you actually cook them.
Thank you so much for this tip !!! I will be doing this from now on!!! 😊
Hey y'all. Please keep my wife Alma in your thoughts and prayers. She has a bowel blockage and 2 fistulas they're telling her she needs surgery ASAP. She's at UAB (University of Alabama Birmingham) looking at surgery today or tomorrow. (We had thought it was food poisoning on Saturday but it's a lot more serious this time.)
Oh no!! I hate to hear that! Let her know I’m thinking of her and will keep her in my prayers. ❤️
Still praying for sweet Mrs. Alma ❤️❤️❤️
Prayers for healing and strength
Prayers
This poor woman must be in so much pain... I'm so sorry to hear...said a prayer for Alma... get well soon...❤

Your videos are the reason why I started watching “what’s for dinner” videos! You even inspired me to cook variety of things❤ thank you!
OMG OMG THESE WERE AMAZING! I made them today and it is now officially a family FAVORITE!! SOOOO GOOD!
I always use red wine for braised beef and chicken dishes it's amazing (white first chicken, red for beef is a good starter point for beginners).
I prefer a saucy wing over a dry rub style wing as well. Everything looks so good and that pizza is a cute idea!
Holy Moly! The blackstone meal looked YUMMY!!!
Everything looked so good! I can't choose my favorite from the French Dips to the McGriddle dupes.
These all look fantastic! Thank you so very much for the wonderful supper ideas!❤
I am definitely giving the tortellini dish a try! That looks fantastic!
Hey girl! I can't wait to see the French dips you were talking about! The million dollar tortellini sounds so good. I've never cooked with red wine either, but I've got to make this! So excited for you! Ive heard awesome things about the Blackstone's. Can't wait to see what all else you make on it! I hope you have a wonderful day!🥰
Thank you so much!! 💗

I like what's for dinner and what to pack for lunches for your husband and kids. I would like to see grocery hauls and cheap meal ideas.
I’m making the French dip sandwiches today. I’m so excited!
Love your videos! You’ve given me so many great ideas! Bless you and yours
Candy corn pizza!! What a great idea!!
Aww the candy corn pizza is so cute!
Awesome. Thank you 😊. I’m adding the pasta bake for my meal plan next week!!!
Love 💕 all of your meals. Going to make these recipes next week. Thank you
Pasta meal looked sooooo yummy 🤤 the whole plate ❤
Everything looks amazing! I definitely want to try that tortellini recipe.
the black stone reminds me of what is used in fast food restaurants. I would definitely suggest doing a mix of vegetable/canola oil and butter so that the oil can get hot enough, get some butter flavor, but not get things too brown too soon. Hashbrowns do take some extra time on the griddle and maybe a touch more oil. Hope that helps!
She did do that
Enjoyed this video. The pizza was super cute. I'm def gonna try that one too.
The breakfast for dinner mcgriddles look so tasty! 🤤
All the recipes looked so good. I just added the French dip sandwiches to the meal plan this week ! cannot wait to try it!! thank you for always having the best but easy recipes ❤️ I hope you don't mind me asking but would you consider doing a Halloween video of maybe some cute treats for kiddos and a dinner? Also, you used to share grocery hauls in the past. would you also consider showing grocery hauls again? Sorry for the long message/novel 😆 Hope you and your family have a great weekend ❤️
Everything you made looked so 👍
Hi Kristin! Your crispy chicken sandwiches looked amazing and exactly like ChikFilA.. yum. The blackstone looks like fun to cook on, you looked like a real chef! For the hash browns I was thinking maybe if you splashed a small bit of water on them and put a cover on them, they could steam a bit, and then maybe drizzle with oil and fry them up to finish. Love your videos!
As always, great ideas! Simple and yummy, for our families tummies!☺️💖😉 Also, I showed my husband your new grill accessory, and he said it might show up in my stocking this year!!!!
Kristin, oh my word, you look like a total pro on that blackstone!!!
Thank you!! ❤️
Lovely as usual, tried a few meals and they were great, quick and delicious ❤
Yay. Looking forward to more Blackstone cooking.
I love your videos! I am going to make the French dips and the breakfast sandwiches!
You looked like a professional chef using your black stone!! Everything looks yummy!!
as always everything looked awesome! thanks so much for sharing! xoxo
Girl, now I want one of those things for my grill. The possibilities are endless 😀😀😀. I have to convince my husband that we need one
That Tortellini bake looks amazing! 😍
Thank you!
@@KristinStepp most welcome ❤️
I love that you put water in the jar and can of sauces and soups. My grandma taught me to cook and told me to always swish a little water in jars and cans. I can't wait to try your French Dip recipe. It looks delicious. I'm also going to buy the Private Select provolone my next trip to Kroger. I haven't found one that is flavorful. If there is an Aldi's by you I always buy their brioche buns (regular and slider size) for my sandwiches. I really enjoy your videos. ☺️
When I make my kids the homemade mcgriddles I use this Bisquick Maple and Brown sugar mix I found on Amazon and they really like it!
100 thank yous for your French dip recipe. I loved the candy corn pizza. So fun if you have young kids. Congratulations on the Blackstone for your birthday.
Yummy!! ❤️❤️❤️All the ideas!!!. A blackstone is on my Christmas wish list! Btw,I agree with the sliced cheeses from Kroger!!!
Awesome all my kids want to eat is oatmeal and cinnamon toast. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the dinner inspiration!
I love anything fried pickle 🙌❤️
Good morning Kristin. That looks absolutely delicious. The perfect family supper for a cool Autumnal evening. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Thursday.
Good morning! Thank you!!
@@KristinStepp You're quite welcome Kristin. Stay in touch.
Kristin All of the meals you've prepared look Delicious 😋 your Mcgriddle looked Good!😊😊
I have made the million dollar tortellini with raviolis and it turned out great too.
Everything looks delicious as usual girl 🔥💪🏽❤️ thx for sharing.
I get so happy when you post😁❤️
All this food looks amazing....on the dip....I do one ....we just call it chicken dip...all it is is 2 blocks of cream cheese 2 shredded chicken breast and diced jalapenos...my family absolutely loves this....we eat it with crackers or tortilla chips....
It all looked so good.
Thank you!
I love my Blackstone. Hibachi style fried rice and stir fry are my favorites to cook on there but I use it for lots of things. Pretty much anytime you would just benefit from more pan space and don't want to cook in batches it works great. Quesadillas, steaks, pork chops, huge batches of breakfast food, you name it. Easy to clean if you season it right too.
I would recommend picking up some sunflower oil for seasoning. It's kind of expensive but I have found it works the best by far, and you don't use much of it so one bottle will last probably a year.
Edit: Also for hashbrowns, using either fresh potatoes or the shredded hashbrowns works a lot better. Those diced ones never cook right, I think it's because there's so much surface area the steam that helps the thicker chunks cook just escapes.
Okay so I ended up making that baked tortellini immediately after watching this and it was FANTASTIC! I completed forgot to come back and comment!
So glad you liked it!!
Try dill pickle dip with just mayo and cream cheese with tons of diced pickles. Do not bake and use potato chips to dip with…I’m telling you amazing. When I was younger a brand called Nalleys made a dill pickle dip it was so good also at my Walmart and sams they have a dill pickle dip with ranch. It is very good
Thank you so much for the suggestions. I like the sound of your version better!
The fried pickle and ranch dip at Sam’s Club is so good! It’s supposed to be eaten cold.
Great recipes!🙌🏻. I dehydrated a couple gallon jars of dill pickles-kinda forgot about them but me intent was to use for dip not that I had a recipe thought out yet but that dip really sounds delicious so I’m going to use it for inspiration! I’m thinking it would work out better with the dehydrated ground up pickles-maybe I’ll video and tag you if it turns out yummy🤪
Girl! Who needs Chick-fil-A /Popeyes with a chicken sandwich that good!!!
I added red wine to my French onion soup that I canned-it’s amazing and I use it in tons of recipes! My favorite thing to do with leftover pot roast is French dips just like you made-so yum! Now I’ve got to make roast!😋
This is making me want to make baked "ziti" but with tortellini.
Hi Kristin. Amazon has the slap ya mama liquid in the bottle. Great meal ideas.
Awesome recipes, thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Get it girl with your masterchef skills!!!! I would love to come to your home for dinner!! :)
Wal-Mart and Sam's sells a fried pickle dip that is so stupidly good. It comes refrigerated so that might be something to do if you try it again, stick in the fridge and let it get cold. Awesome video as always!
I have tried it and it is soooooo good! Maybe that is what went wrong, baking it. Thank you!!
Great! Love watching your videos :) thank you again 😀💪
Those pickles are the best.
You need a simple meal, you come through every time. Please make a simple meal cookbook you are amazing girl 👩🍳
Your meals looked absolutely delicious!! I saw the candy corn from the pizza. Very cool. Now I'm hangry.
Hi Kristin. Great recipes! I always enjoy your videos. I don’t know if any stores sell that hot sauce where I live, but they do have it on Amazon. I want to try it. Your chicken sandwich looked better than any restaurant!🤗
Hey. Dice and par boil your potatoes. Then add butter onion powder and paprika while cooking. I’ve been doing this and they’re amazing. Love your videos 😊
My husband loves his Blackstone- he makes the best smash burgers!!!
That was one killer looking chicken sandwich....I can't wait to make one. Yummy 😋
Yummy stuff! For the hashbrowns, you need WAY more oil/butter (or bacon grease) and I probably would have hit them with a bit of water and a cover to steam for about 10 minutes. And way more seasoning. It was a pretty big bag of potatoes and they need seasonings. I prefer canned, sliced potatoes for frying over frozen too. Those pancakes were picture perfect though! Yum!
Everything looks amazing! The pickle dip… maybe with some chopped up good pickles instead of relish? It like like it has potential 😂. Try Boars Head Picante Provolone sliced fresh from the deli. So good!
Thank you for the great video, as always! 🥰
❤️❤️❤️
Your a pro on that flat top to be your first time!!!
Grillos pickles are life changing.
They truly are!
Hear me out, add banana peppers to your French dip sandwiches if you like them. It's a game changer!!
I bought a fried pickle dip from Costco and it’s delicious. I think the difference is that it’s cold. Also, I would serve with potato chips over tortilla chips.
Hi Kristin! The meals looked fantastic! Those chicken sandwiches look easy …I’ve been thinking of trying to make a chicken sandwich. But my chicken frying skills well let’s not talk about them. Lol. As for potatoes on the blackstone I get simply potatoes. I find them in the refrigerator section usually by the eggs in my Walmart. They have shredded hash browns, sliced, & diced. The diced come in a couple of flavors but I like the plain the best. I also saw someone my husband watches (I’m sorry I don’t remember who) say they parboil their potatoes for use on the blackstone. I personally haven’t tried it but it looked like it worked well enough. Fresh potatoes I use a lid over them & some water to create steam to cook them faster. Hope that helps a bit. It was a bit of a learning curve for me on the blackstone. Honestly when my husband bought it I never thought we’d use it….fooled myself! We use it all the time! Have a great week!
Beautifully done
Gotta make that crockpot meal!
My fav thing to cook on the Blackstone is smash burgers 🥰😋🍔
I like your Halloween nails! Super cute🎃
Just here .. patiently waiting for your Halloween themed meals to post .....🥰🙃😂
The pizza was cute by the way!
Love your videos!
I found slap yo mama at at spice store at broadway at Myrtle Beach ❤thanks again for a wonderful video! I love how well you explain your parts of the recipe’s! One of my favorite UA-camr’s ever! I’ve sent my whole family and friends your way! Lots of love and prayers from North Carolina Have a fantastic week & God Bless 😘
I haven't tried those pickles yet..but the best ones I've ever eaten so far are "Wahlbergs" pickles. They have them at Aldi's at different times. They are a bit pricey but, oh my gosh they're good!
Hibachi is fabulous on the Blackstone. That's how ours got broken in.
I’ve been wanting to try that dip because I live fried pickles! But after seeing you make it, it basically reminds me of cheesy warmed garter sauce. 😂 I still think I might like it though!
Omg “tarter” sauce….
That’s honestly the best description 😂😂 I think swapping the relish for chopped pickles would make a big difference.
Hi! Watching you from Spain. It's so interesting to ser how diferent our food is! Loved the breakfast for dinner part :)
Hey!! I find it interesting too. ❤️
We make a cold dill pickle dip that is delicious. Cream cheese, sour cream OR Greek yogurt, diced up pickles, worchestershire sauce and a splash of pickle juice. Sooo tasty with potato chips.
Great meals!❤❤❤
I love your Halloween nails! 🎃
I like the dip cold! You may prefer it that way
red wine takes beef stew up a notch as well, Kristin~ 🙂
