Thanks Tamara. I have been using your patterns for years and first time watching your tutorial I found a few more useful tips that I wasn't familiar with.
I'm always surprised when I find new or easier ways to sew the patterns that I put out in the past. I will keep sharing the tips as I discover them too.
It was very nice to see that the pattern pieces had the 1/4" sewing line marked. For some of us inexperienced sewers it is very helpful. thank you. This is another great tutorial
Nice work. I made a pattern for a "Fashion Doll" that I gave my granddaughter and it took me forever to to it. Lots of trials since I had never done anything for a doll, but in the end, I was happy with it. Making the pattern is the bear.! Key thing, though, I would say, is to make sure, especially for a doll gown or dress, is to use fabric that has some stretch to it especially if you are not using a zipper or velcro closure. If you do that, stretchy fabric is not so critical. Wish I could share it, but not sure how to do that here. Thank you for another great video!
Hello Tamara, how are you doing? I really like this and I bought the version of this pattern for Matt today from Amazon. Thanks so much for the great demo and stay well!
Hello. Thanks for the video. What size of eyelets are those in mm? And what is the nr of the tool to install them. I have been installing manually and they tend to rip and be like flower on the back. Don't like that. Mine are like 2.5 mm or so.
The eyelets I use for doll clothes are 1/8" or 3.17mm. Using the interfacing and even fray check around the hole before setting the eyelets can make a big difference. With stretch fabrics, you may consider piercing the material instead or punching the hole to prevent the opening from being too wide. The tool is a crop-a-dile.
Putting the finishing touches on the In The Game pattern for the 17" Super Hero dolls. This pattern is available for several different dolls.
I didn't know jackets were sewn this way. Im making a jacket for a plushie I plan to make. -from a teen trying to improve her sewing skills
There are so many ways and techniques that have similar results. You have to find what works best for you.
Fantastic and cozy! Jacob is very handsome.💜💜
Thank you. Jacob is a handsome guy doll.
Love, love it! I don’t know how you do it. It’s like magic the way you know how to make patterns and sew them perfectly
Right? I think she's a witch or something....!!!!
Some days it's magic and some days trial and error. I do love it though. :)

I am doing well. Just finished a busy spell, but looking forward to some rest to refresh my creativity muscles. I hope you are good too.
❤
Thank you. :)
Great video Tamara! I have this pattern for Matt but where can I find a 7” zipper?
You can get them online or use a longer one and cut it down to size.
Fabric stores/craft stores also still sell them as far as I know, since they are a standard size for skirt patterns for women...
