At 66 years old I never thought I would be doing doll crafts and clothing again but it's because of you and your wonderful informative and easy to follow videos that I have become a crafter again! I forgot how much I loved doing this and I will never be able to thank you enough for all you do that helps me to continue enjoying sewing and crafting again! It's keeping my mind sharp and myself sane and this is priceless! 🥰
Just a wee sewing tip for gathering... sew two rows of gathering stitches, as far apart as you can on the doll clothes seam allowance. The two rows means the gathering threads are less like to break , if you gather vigorously. Plus, you should get a more even gather when you sew. I hope got a new Spring outfit, or two, along with the dolls.
as an experienced sewer i love how you break down things to show how simple these projects can be, and how to make variations on a theme! i recommend your stuff to people quite a lot since you're very clear and easy to follow - i wish i was half as good a teacher as you are

I was just playing Barbies with my Grandkids and laughing at some of the clothes I made for the dolls when I first learned to sew. This is a piece of cake with your simple patterns! Thank you so much!!❤
Well done tutorial! Only thing I would add be pressing the seams out a little, even if it's just with your fingers. The top stitch helps so much in keeping fabric in place. Depending on the scrap size, they can also be used as stuffing for pillows and such. I think I'll have to download this pattern. So many possibilities! ❤

The tulle gives the thin fabric more body and the finished garment more structure without adding too much Bulk.
