I stretch my hair by braiding at night. I might try this method, only it already takes me so long to do my wash and go’s-I only have time when the kids are napping🥴! But that sure beats waiting for it to dry for 2 days, so I’m happy 😂! Thanks for sharing ❤️!

Glycerin free/humectant free products will help for sure. One of my best glycerin free wash n go combos is CR coconut water leave in and stylesetter topped off with Kinky Curly curling custard. Hold for days and combats humidity well.
Good point! & Really?? I tried the KC custard forever ago & it really separated my curls so I wasn’t a fan. Does it clump your hair?
Girl you made me go back and look at photos. 😂 It actually does both. There are clear points of clumping, but also clear points of separation. I wouldn’t classify the look I got as leaning towards one or the other. But I love the result, my hair stays moisturized and for me the definition looks better as the days go on. Bear in mind I don’t stretch and rarely use heat. Not sure how that will affect the final style. :)

There is a line from ouidad its expenisive but they have a shampoo conditioner a spray and a gel the line supposed to help with no frizz in hot climates they also have a sample kit for like 35 dollars I belive
I usually don't stretch my hair because I prefer it short because it bothers me when my hair touches my neck but I like The way it looks when it's stretched though

For humidity I heard that using the innersense I create finish after stretch adds the cast back to your hair. My hair tends to loose the hold after stretching with heat so that could help!!

Such a timely video! I was watching some other ones to see how to stretch wash n go’s, so glad one of my favorite UA-camrs (YOU) uploaded one! Usually I let my wash n go’s get bigger in it’s own, but I’ve definitely wanted to try this method because the shrinkage makes day 1 hair not so fun 😆. Would you say not stretching it helps the style last longer or do you get the still the same amount of time?
Aww I'm honored 😭 & girl i felt that, this is why I make sure to schedule wash days when I don't have major plans. But tbh if I didn't stretch my hair it would probably would last longer. Stretching my hair creates frizz and I lose a little definition, which usually happens on its own as my hair gets older. Stretching it kinda jump starts that process and basically pushes me to day 2-3 hair if that makes sense?

I used my blow dryer this morning and my curls shrunk back up. It's like, "Pero Whyyyyyy???!!!
I prefer my hair stretched also and I’m not ashamed to say it. When it shrinks it gets matted and looks a mess.

How did you save your coils at night when doing a wash n go when it was short, mines is growing but it doesn’t yet reach my shoulders so I can never preserve the coils for the next day!?
