Love your videos! Love you art, love you tattoos I dusted off an old fk iron coil machine and gave that a run out today, tuned it to run cartridges and it was a blast hearing that buzz again. Don’t know if I can keep using it but we’ll see haha
Oh yeah I totally get what you’re saying. I had the same “problem” with the machines I was using. It’s so refreshing to go back and use what you used to love !! Stunnig piece as always btw 🥵
Yo dude great video as always 😊 Just going off of what you mentioned about the Flite nano kicking up at 9V check out a video on Killerink where Tiggy Tattoo’s is using it at 7V for the whole tattoo 😮 Backing up exactly what your are saying that you can play around with your setup and still tattoo well 😊
Yeh man, I’ll check it out! It really does make a machine feel completely different sometimes. I’ve turned my packer down nearly half the volts and everything’s changed
@@jasonjamessmithart 100% percent dude, I use the packer for lining sometimes and pepper shading on as low as it will go :) Feels more punchy that way, for me at least 🤣
I sold all my bishops and cheyenne sol nova unlimited machines and went with 2 acus machines. I'm so in love with them, they are insanely good. I use the 4.1 stroke for packing and fine line/dotwork and the 5mm stroke for linework and stippling. I do 3RL b&g and neo blackwork
@@jasonjamessmithart The only pen style machine you can fully auto clave, can buy different grips and weights for + disposables and it even has a circuit board for updates. When u buy the machine u get 3 cams, batteries and a charger for 1k. They only focus on 1 product too, instead of creating a whole market of products and forcing it down your throat. Check them out. The stipple of the 5mm is as good as my old school roys rotary/DK
Hey man how did you get on with the FK Xion. I’ve been using it on and off for a couple years. I find it nice and smooth with my shading and stippling. But it lines like a bag of shit. So inconsistent.
😂 yeh its pretty shit for that, i used it for everything when I used it and it FORCED me to slow my lines right down, so even tho my lines were taking forever, they were super neat. I tried the 3.8mm cam that came with it and il thought that was a pile of shit to be honest, but should in theory make it better for lining, worth a try if you haven’t yet

I’d never heard of these until you mentioned them, they look cool. I’d love to give them a try one day!
