I just came across your UA-cam channel. You are a breath of fresh air. 🎉 I agree with all your advice. I just can’t stop buying white or cream. I love those colors. Fortunately I have a really good dry cleaner. 😊
Thank you, that's so kind! Nothing wrong with loving whites and creams when you have a reliable dry cleaner. Quality pieces in those colors are totally worth it. 🤍
Kia ora from New Zealand! Awesome videos and content, it is so refreshing to find out that us Kiwis have so much in common with Germans, we are practical people who want timeless and quality-driven pieces! Your white outerwear point hit me deeply, I love the look of a white blazer, leather or bomber jacket and even wool/cashmere coat... but everytime I've bought one, it has become irreparably stained with makeup and everyday life, almost immediately! I've learned the hard way that it's just not worth the money, and today, thanks to your video, I stopped myself from purchasing an ivory blazer :) danke, Bridget!
Kia ora! ✨ Thank you for this amazing message! I love the connection you've made between German and Kiwi practical approach to style - it really is about those quality pieces that truly work for our lifestyle, isn't it? Your experience with white outerwear is exactly the kind of real-life wisdom that helps us make better wardrobe decisions! While these pieces look stunning in photos and displays, the practical reality of everyday wear is so important to consider. I'm really happy the video helped you avoid a potentially frustrating purchase - that's exactly why I love sharing these honest conversations about what actually works in real life! Thank you for taking the time to share this thoughtful feedback 🥰
@@Bridget.Fisher no worries, happy to spport the channel of a creator whos content I agree with! The only point we differ on is that I like my classic Converse with a platform, it's actually more supportive to my flat feet and it's slightly broader (to accommodate my slightly broader feet)... I also love the few inches height it gives my 1'70 frame haha.
Only 100% cotton jeans for me. I hate stretch jeans, they cling to my legs and pull the waist down my skinny hips eventually. I hate Spandex in general will rarely buy anything with it. It makes natural-fiber clothing impossible to iron, too, it puckers the seams and fabric.
I agree with a lot of things but some advise I feel like takes away from personality … I used to be all muted solid colors and actually worked to move away from it since at some point I felt like it was becoming too boring for me so I’m all for embracing patterns and colors and learning how to combine them with other pieces and I haven’t had a lot of problems tbh
Thank you for sharing your experience! You make such a great point about personal style evolution - it's wonderful that you've found joy in patterns and colors that work for you. While my content focuses on creating long-lasting, easily mixable wardrobes (which often leads to recommending solid pieces), I love how you've shown that there's no one-size-fits-all approach. I personally express personality through accessories nowadays, but your success with patterns shows how different approaches can work beautifully. It's all about finding what makes you feel confident and what you'll wear for years to come!
@@Bridget.Fisher I completely agree! It all definitely varies and I admire the timeless and long-lasting philosophy in the age of consumerism but I believe there's a way (at least I want to think I've found one) to add a little spice in the form brighter colors for statement and/or accent pieces that are still versatile and will go well with the rest of your wardrobe.
Oh I love this! And yes to thoughtful accent pieces - I actually do the same with bright red as my one pop of color in my neutral wardrobe! Really appreciate you mentioning the balance between timeless style and consumerism too - it's refreshing to see how everyone can find their own way to make fashion both sustainable and exciting. You've definitely nailed it with your approach!

@frankiefavero1666 and that’s what personal style is all about - love your approach ❤️
I can't seem to find any jeans that are 100% cotton. Does anyone have any recommendations?
It can be tricky but I linked some in the video description. Maybe that helps? ❤️✨
J. Crew has 100% cotton jeans 😊
❤❤❤

I completely agree about 100% cotton jeans!! ❤️ The pulling and sagging with stretch denim is such a hassle, and that point about ironing is spot on ✨
Very sensible and wise advise , I agree with everything you said.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a kind comment! 😊✨
