I love your videos. I find that paying a bit more for a good leather belt or buying vintage is worth it. Most modern leather belts look shabby very quickly. I always try to shop vintage, often cheaper but definitely better quality ❤

Thank you so much! 😊 I totally agree that investing a bit more into quality items, like a good leather belt, makes so much sense. In the long run, you get so much wear out of it that the cost per wear becomes much lower than constantly replacing low-quality faux leather belts. I’m also really happy to hear that you’re shopping vintage! With my background running a vintage clothing business for 10 years, this truly has my heart. 🥰 I actually have a now vintage leather belt from my own childhood, which must be almost 30 years old now, and it now fits me perfectly in the waist! ❤️ Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I totally agree with your approach to fashion!! Clothes must be comfortable and should still be stylish! I tend to buy classic pieces, however every now and then I got bored and splashed out on something crazy like a wildly striped skirt. Now I try to stick to unusual scarves when boredom strikes. They are smallish and practical.

I totally get where you’re coming from! Scarves are such a smart way to switch things up without going overboard-I love that idea. Lately, I’ve been really appreciating the quality and feel of my classic pieces, but I still like to add something trendy now and then, especially for my head, in my go-to color, red. It’s fun to balance both!

You can still buy an item and swap out the belt

You could definitely buy a belted piece and swap out the belt, but what happens to the original belt? I wouldn’t want to contribute to the cycle of buying low-quality belts that might eventually end up in a landfill.

Even though they are considered neutral they are no for me

That’s totally fair! Fashion is so personal, and it’s great that you know what works for you. There are so many other options out there that fit different styles. 😊

    No patterns at all? Boring

To some, it might seem boring, but for me, it’s actually a relief to wear “neutral” patterns like leopard print, polka dots, and stripes. I find joy in the shapes and designs of my simple pieces rather than in bold patterns.
