Its nice to see Billy healthy and alive.
He's usually alive.
@@simonharwood8488😂
bro?
The real vampire
As appose to?
Tre is always full of power, even in his age now. Insanely great drummer
Billie better
So clean
@@clundgeweep true bro
Lars
He's 50. Not 95.
lets get one thing straight: whoever the sound folks are on the stern show are freaking top notch. every artist that comes on this show sounds great.
Except for blink 182 singing.
Personally I find the drums very harsh sounding.
Hard disagree tbh, always sound the same, scratchy loud guitar, drums are sharp pierce ears
this particular mix is good, not great
Qualité technique cru, sans ordinateurs qui tiens tout. KEXP est fort la aussi
Huge props to the sound engineer here, this sounds fantastic!
Billie sounds really nasally.
@@Driver8takeabreak that aint the sound engineers fault lmao
There's no effect on the vocals but the whole band sounds incredible
@@Driver8takeabreakmaybe that's his technique rn. So that he can sing all their songs properly at that age.
@@Driver8takeabreakif you ever listen to or watch and vocal coach analyze Billie’s voice they all mention he sings very forward and nasally so maybe your ears are getting older and finally noticing it but. That’s how he sings. THAT is HIS voice and method of singing.
Happy to see Tre cool still being cool, playing drums to this song so effortlessly.
I’ve said it a million times. Howard Stern has the best sound I’ve ever ever heard. His people are top notch.
lol
the best sound you've ever heard?
Definitely, the 90s ones were great too
I love it too
Tre is such a great player
He truly is
He has so much energy consistently, and is always on time
He's the best Pop Punk drummer !
Very clean and nice play
his snare sounds so good here
His fills are absolutely crispy here
Saw them perform this in 1995 during their Insomniac tour. Such a fun show!
Insomniac was a great album
Me too
Me too. Where? I saw them in Binghamton, NY in the fall of '95.
Eu também estava lá. ❤
30 years later still nailing it !!!
Howard just turned 70
I am stunned it's been 30 years!!! I was working in the Operating Room as a nurse in Connecticut when this album came out. And were listening to this in the O.R.....between cases of course😂 I can't believe it's been this long.... They sound fantastic!!!
To me they sound even better now. Considering 30 years ago they were already great
sounds awesome! his voice has gotten insanely higher
No it hasn’t he’s just singing for real. He’s a really greet vocalist
I confess... when I heard this song back in 1994 on the radio for the first time, I just fell in love with it. This is still on the top of my favorite GD song list.
Ah back to being 16/17 with a song. This tune's got the hooks!
Sounds exactly the same as the album from 30 f*****g years ago!!! 😍😍😍
Not at all, his voice has changed alot. He still sounds good, but if you watch a performance from 30 years ago, he sounds worlds different. You can't stay young forever!
@@ludicrousmodel3173 The voice was tired, that's just it.
HHAHAHAHHA WTFF
Music is great , but there obviously isn't the energy in his voice as he was. I enjoyed it.
@@Urban0utlawGT It's just tiredness. At the New Year's concert he sang the same song and did great.
ive loved greenday since i was a kid.. i'm 51 now.
Thats the spirit..me 9 until now (37).
Me too !! I was 13 when I first fell in love with Greenday. I'm 41 now n still love them ❤❤❤
OK grandpa time to put you in the home
Fan friggin tastic. Love this. Mike's bass tone KILLS. And the drummer is one of the best and most tasteful players....ever.
Mike is killing it on the bass with all his licks and perfect pocket 👍🏾🎸
This must be fun to play on the drums. Good job Tre, always cool.
Small thing I’m realizing. Billie Joe has always, always sang and played the intro to this song by himself. And I just really appreciate that he doesn’t have Jason or now Kevin do it while he just sings. It’s so authentic. I love this band so much.
There's absolutely nothing special about this wtf
@@llukkz You must have not grasped what I was saying. That’s okay.
Where's your hit song that's stayed popular for generations? Let's hear it...@@llukkz
@@KudaBear-jy1zl sing and playing at the same time is not authentic at all. It's pretty normal actually,
The band that completed my childhood 🥰
A whole generation's heroes. Miss those days. Miss this world. More innocent, more peaceful, brighter, more forgiving. We had hopes and dreams, look at us now.
Endtime !
Tre rocking the drums!!!💪💪🔥🔥
Bryan Johnson: "I spend 2 million a year to stay young"
Billie Joe: "Hold my beer".
Lol ikr?! It’s almost bizarre how he looks exactly the same. His band mates aged but he’s the same.
@@FarmhouseFelts He has very clearly aged.
@@FarmhouseFelts He looks good for 50, but he definitely has aged.
Isn’t it unreal? I remember when this album came out and he looks crazy young still, whereas I, sadly, do not. He must sleep in a giant Tupperware container…
His voice has aged a lot
The drums in this song are so cool
Could say they're tré cool....no? I'll get my coat.
When I was a brand new guitarist I used this song to practice learning barre chords and 5ths (Eb5, Bb5, etc). I loved it back then and for me still holds up well.
Wow! Grew up listening this song. ❤
Tre's fills are amazing. It's one thing to hear them but then to see them/hear them it shows how great of a drummer he is. I don't know drums, but he almost has a swing/jazz approach (to me) that fits punk-pop really well.
He did say Buddy Rich was a big influence.
Timeless. So good.
In his younger days, he rolled his eyes and made crazy faces
Ohh really?
Billy's Woodstock 'mud' guitar is priceless. Ever since that event it's has a great earthy tone
Lembro de voltar pra casa correndo e conseguir assistir esse clip no Disk MTV😂🤘👌
Its cool how songs that were made 10 years ago are still being played today
This song turns 30 this year bruh
@@skrillah6259he's in pretend denial, my friend.
Songs that were made 300 years ago are still being played today.
Even today, years later, it sounds so good. I was there for the first round listening to the 7 inch, and here today watching on UA-cam.
As great as ever! Much love to them. Thx for still being here.
bass tone is🔥
Wow…loud and tight. Great all around. Great band.
Howard with the compliments 😊well deserved compliments for the Rockers
They still look young in their 50's!
Damn I love this band
This song is one of the reasons I picked up a guitar all those years ago. From one of the greatest albums of all time too. :)
Haha me too. I had the Dookie tablature book.. those were the first songs I learned. 1995 baby.
Happy to see Jason healthy and w/ the band still
Yeeeessss!!!!! 90's alternative lives on!!!!
The mix in this studio is always great!
Damn, I remember seeing him play that same baby blue strat when he was 18. He's continued to play it all these years
I got to play it in 1998! On stage with the band
He’s had it since his 10th birthday 😮 it’s basically another member of the band
So Howard's back in studio! I can see the boys looking over at him! Cool!
Tre is an insanely good drummer
Song legend in my school
Brilliant I've always liked these.
Billy looks a good 10 years younger than 51.
I've always had the biggest crush on BJ 😮❤
Haha, he looks 20 years younger than the others ...heck, 30 even!
@@DerEchteBold The others look young too....
Meanwhile, Mike been lookin’ 50 for 30 years. 😂
And sounds a good 40 years younger.
I‘ve always loved this band ❤
Sounding great as always. Thanks!
i love this song
They still rock
Tre is always on point.Great drummer!!
So good
the mixing goes CRAZY
The band just keeps getting better
I do miss their energy from the 90s though. Most bands lose that but not all.
This brings so many memories... Great times.
My favorite song ❤
Outstanding
Love Tres, awesome drive behind the kit
I love this😆
I THINK IM SMOKING CRAAAACK! Lol
First album I ever bought with my pocket money. Unreal start to finish. Even the album cover is amazing.
What make me impressed is Billy voice. My ear still love it.
Such a perfect sounds
What a classic!
Sounds amazing
His timing on that into riff is just so on point as always
Each guitarrazo sounds great ✨
This is awesome... love Howard's reaction to songs too...❤
Sounds fantastic
That was an awesome pick slide at the end! I wanna play the song now just for that part.
