Thank you so much for sharing. These modification videos are difficult to find.

Don't, my production rate is close to Zero 😅. It would be difficult for me to recommend motion at all if you are into more competitive racing. It only slows you down. Just was helping out a friend configuring a 30'000€ 6dof system... immersive, yes, but also very distracting.

OK so I see the 3060 pieces (x2) for the vertical side frame and 3030 pieces (x4) for the wheel mount where x2 go front to back and x2 go left to right. What about the shifter mount piece? Looks like 1 piece extents from the 3060 to mount the shifter and you have x2 3030 pieces under neath it. What are those lengths?

The two short ones are 143mm, actually cut them from leftovers from the 2 pieces mounted on each side of the 3060 pieces holding the wheelbase. The long one is 342mm. I recommend another construction because there is too much flex with only one 3030 piece for attaching of the shifter. I'd rather would use either a 3060 or 2x3030 pieces to make this stiffer.

Is there Any flex on the dd2 quick release? And do you recommend dd2 of dd1?

Yes there is, but not as bad as some youtubers say. Most people do not attach the wheels in the right way on the DD1/DD2 (see video here: ua-cam.com/video/u2slxjJBcZA/v-deo.html Minute 3:20). The rubber ring has to be fixed first (without squeezing it though) -> then the flex is minimal. Yet it is not as tight as the Simucube2 quick realease. Overall package with "economic system", usability and quality for me is right. My major complain is rather the size of the wheelbase as it limits the positioning of the triple screen setup -> I want it to be lower than that to see more of the dashboard.

Outstanding job, Marcel. Can we see some more videos? Dampener Video? HOTAS video? A10 in action w/ Motion?

Well lied :-D... maybe if I finally get the Dampeners, they hopefully arrive this week, waiting over 4 weeks now. Motion with Flight Sims is mainly helpful for helicopter flying... as I also take lessons IRL, I use it for training with the Robinson R22.

@@iseeq72 Ahh, very cool. I flew in a R44 after spending many hours in DCS UH-1H. Would you be willing to showcase how the motion is used for Helo Flight? I was thinking about using my P3 for the same as well.

@@Mi1lerTime I tested it with X-Plane 11 which works quite well (also in combination with VR). For training of hover and transitions in heli flying - VR is a must, IMO. Btw: Had my first flight in a R44 (my wife wanted to join for that lesson, so we needed an additional seat :-) )
