For my Altmill I'm purchasing my spindle and VFD separately, they are gonna be very similar(from the same factory) but 2.2KW, the VFD looks identical on the outside. I will need to do my own wire for it. I wonder how difficult wiring it would be since I never built a CNC Before, only 3d printers. Do you think wiring the Spindle/VFD to the rest of the system (I Assume to the Longboard) will be difficult?

Thank you for showing us the new Altmill. I wanna get one and hoping if you could tell us a few things since you’re one of the first to show us it.
How long did it take to fully assemble? Is the table sturdy when the machine is running? And finally, does Senci Labs provide cable management or did you have to configure all the cables yourself?
Again, thank you for sharing!!! Look forward to watching you do a project and hearing back from you with my simple questions. 😊😊

      Hello,
It’s amazing machine. It took about 10 hours of assembly as this is my first cnc and I assembled it without extra hands. The table as it is needs little bit of a support as the machine feels very powerful comparing to the tableI legs. I did a little bit of work and will show it in the next video for final assembly. it improved the table sturdiness a lot. I will be able to provide. credible conclusion after running few projects.
Regarding cable management. Each cable is packed in a plastic bag. The assembly guide is very good in walking you through the process. Cables plugs are error proof so no cable will go to the wrong socket. Having said that, I recommend reading the cable section couple of times to be clear on the steps so you don’t undo and redo.
If you have any more questions, Please feel free to ask.
