Not sure why the DBs never seem to play this live. One of their best songs.

Love it. Rock does not get any better, especially when you see the Doobs live, like on 5/22/18 at the Smoothie Center, New Orleans (oh, Black Water, keep on rollin' with those Dark Eyed Cajun Women.) :) Richard :)

If we only had one video clip to send back 1000 years to let people know what the
world was like 1000 years hence (at least, musically speaking) I think this would be
it!!! The Doobies are fantastic ambassadors 4 humanity period, are they not?!!!
I fail to see how anyone could form criticisms of this band. Doobie Bros rock on forever!
Love wearing my recently custom made ball cap that says Music Is The Doctor - Doobie Bros (Music IS the doctor ... dump big Pharma, etc.)

It's a great song even if the riff does make it sound a little like China Grove Part 2, but if its this good and they're borrowing from their own legacy, who cares.

John Fogerty was sure from borrowing from his legacy with his song 'The Old Man Down The Road'.

It did sound similar in fact I remember my dad saying it back then but you know what if you listen to ACDC you'll hear some of that along with even Van Halen or doesn't change the fact that they got great songs.

Coming from musical family since I was 4 years old , I could imagine life without music. Your tune THE DOCTOR defines me. I will play this tune over and over because I appreciate whoever wrote the lyrics and the music. You guys are the BEST!!!

Besides this being a great song, it was also kind of exciting, when it was new, becuz it meant that the Doobies were back. On a sidenote: I think this may be the only time Pat Simmons actually had short hair. Haha.
