This is dope! But what's the best way to sidechain the kick since the kick output still has everything tied to it? Let me know if I'm missing something.
Just got your rack and is absolutely crazy! Thank you so much for sharing this brilliant work! Subbed! One question: what;s the difference between the Pre=Fader and Post-Fader versions and when should we pick one over the other?
AD2 comes with a lot of drumkit presets. Post-fader keeps the balance/mix of the internal channels of those presets intact. With pre-fader this not the case, as the sound goes straight out the plug-in, into drum rack, effectively bypassing AD2’s internal mixer.
@@SoundSuite That makes sense, thanks. So how do I use this rack with kits that I've created in the past? It seems as though your rack mixes up the drums, putting them on different notes than the plugin uses. Is it incompatible with midi from kits that I've already created? I'm having trouble finding the same sounds that I used before, with everything in different places; since AD2 doesn't label them in clips.
@@SoundSuite As per the comment by Spence G above, I too am puzzled as to why the keymap is altered in AD2 Suite, as this means the MIDI files that are supplied with AD2 play the wrong drum sounds. Changing the AD2 Suite keymap to "AD2 Standard" maps the correct drums, but I assume this causes issues with other AD2 Suite functionality? Thanks in advance.
Hey dlees! Once you've dragged in the desired AD2 Suite preset channel into your project through the browser, open the Addictive Drums 2 plug-in which is located on the Kick pad. Then, pick any kit to your liking and start playing. Let me know if that helps!
Hi i just got push 1 and i have been searching on how i can use it with addictive drums, i went to your website and downloaded AD2 Suit but setting it up is a challenge i am Just starting to learn please you help will highly be appreciated

this is my question as well
THANK YOU!!!!
This is impressive.
Amazing job. Really impressed.
Gracias!!
just wondering since i dont own a push yet, save this rack and use it when the push is disconnected from the daw?
Push 3 standalone does not support external plugins, so that wouldn’t work unfortunately.

devalah I answered your question in your other comment :)
Thanks for this. I'm confused, why would you want to use post-fader vs pre-fader?
AD2 comes with a lot of drumkit presets. Post-fader keeps the balance/mix of the internal channels of those presets intact. With pre-fader this not the case, as the sound goes straight out the plug-in, into drum rack, effectively bypassing AD2’s internal mixer.
