Outstanding work and video Oxman!
What an excellent video! Thank you!
Awesome video, great detail. Appreciate it 👍
Great video
Good stuff man. Super helpful
I hope you don't run into any problems. I used MMR for there oil pump gears one time and found that the tip clearance was .025" which is way too much clearance. I also purchased the blue oil pick up tube stud for the ARP main kit, however when I double checked my oil pick up tube to pan clearance I had way too much clearance. I can't tell from the video but I hope you checked these. The tip clearance should be under .010" and your oil pick up tube to oil pan clearance should be around .250"
I had really bad oil consumption problems with MMR oil pump gears, and if you happen to have too much oil pick up tube clearance when you violently launch the car you can starve the heads of oil pressure wiping out those cam journals. VCT will act up on you too. MMR sells a lot of good products, there oil pump gears is not one of them.
Thank you for the reply Sprayed Coyote. These are my third set of OPG from MMR. I haven't had any issues with them on my Coyote engines. I hope I don't. MMR does make good products, but yes you never know.
So far I have 400 miles on the engine in the video. Almost done with the break in oil period. I have not gone heavy into high RPM yet. I'll keep an eye out, thank you for the heads up.
@@Oxman_Garage MMR is a great company that’s specific to coyotes, but I lived in Camarillo, CA. MMR is a tiny ass business that has a huge customer base with in my opinion very little staff and a small ass building. Quality is not there in every piece they sell. The only parts that I’m aware of that guys have had huge problems with are OPGs, timing tensioners, and there thrust roller plate. Everything else is pretty much fair game.
Do you have a part number for the clutchless alt pulley? Where did you buy it from?
I just bought the BOSS alternator kit Part number: M-8600-M50BALT
@@Oxman_Garage I was able to find the individual pulley at PBH. Part number PBH-634
