In this episode, we invite our first guest from the Inwood Fire Department in Inwood, New York, Chief Josiyah Green. With each birthday growing up, he would visit the fire house to visit with family members in the fire service knowing his destiny was to serve in his tight knit community. When Chief Green turned 18-years old he joined the department along with his childhood friends. Chief Green rapidly grew into leadership roles within the department achieving the rank of Lieutenant at 21, Captain at 23, Second Deputy Chief at 25 and now at 37, the First Assistant Chief. He is completing a final inspection at Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton, Wisconsin, with his fellow committee members, on their Velocity® Ascendant® 100’ Heavy-Duty Aerial Tower.
