- We are walking laps around Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company #Velocity #NonWalkInHDR!
This apparatus creates an outstanding workspace for their firefighters with an expansive crew cab and FOUR awnings. Their awning configuration provides the ability for extension in locations that would previously be hindered by only having one large awning. The Will-Burt Night Scan Light and Vertical Tower Mast will provide optimal visibility during nocturnal responses. A Lazy-Susan tool mount will store hydraulic tools for rapid deployment. Their local school mascot in #WalkersvilleMD is a lion and is included in their department’s graphics. #FDIC2024 #ChargingForward

Pierce sales rep sees a volunteer department coming, straight away pulls out the rotators.
lolololo. true. stoopid vollys
I can't wait to see a response video with all the lights on
Causing another twenty accidents besides the one they were responding to because oncoming traffic gets blinded.
I was at the plant when this was being built. I’ve never seen such excess in a fire truck. Even the paint on this thing was ultra premium with flecks of something special in it.
They must have raised a ton of money for this truck. I doubt a community would budget for such excess. I’m sure they worked really hard for it. It’s beautiful.
So in other words, a paint job that won't chip easily and is reflective for safety. Got it.
The warm water decon and rinse was a fantastic idea. Nice job thinking outside the box.
Only fluff I would have added is two more Roto-Rays on the front of the truck. Anything with light and motion that can get a driver’s attention is a big help. Amazing how many people pull out in front of emergency vehicles every day. This is one nice toolbox.
That's a gorgeous looking truck....love the color and design enhancements. I like Roto-Rays...so two excites me a lot. Can't wait to see all the lights turned up.
Warm water for DECON?!?!?! Oh yeah, I'm loving this BEAST!!!!❤❤❤
Glad the community supports this organization as all the excess on this truck that doesn't really have any functionality. Waiting to see the first truck with triple roto rays and double Q s with train horns
Mount Horeb in Wisconsin ran dual Q sirens on their rigs for years. There's gotta be close to an extra $20k in emergency lighting on the front of that rig alone. Standard NFPA lighting requirments work just fine. I used to sell Pierce apparatus, there is actually an option called the "Maryland Package" for emergency lighting on front to include Roto Rays, MARs lights, etc. it's ridiculous.
What an outstanding rig, the best to the Fire Service and town for many years of service.
Thats our rescue!!!
Cherry, good to see you are still hard at it. Ben a looong time since I was a member there. Great to see a big new Rescue24Squad. Glad to see rear steer on that beast, I was wondering where the Tiller would sit LOL. You all stay safe down there. God Bless...
They must have an unlimited budget indeed!!
Please make another video show casing all the lighting functionality and features please. And even a compare and contrast video to the truck that this one replaces!
Wonderful!!!
YES!
was looking forward to this one ever since I saw the first pic on Facebook!
Can't wait to see it in person soon!
Nice truck! Well thought out and laid out.
Amazing pierce velocity
Nice Rescue, United's going too be pretty jealous
I'll say!
Very nice rig I’m really impressed with it
That is absolutely outstanding!! Godspeed to all of those who serve as volunteer firefighters, rescue personnel🙏. Stay safe out there.
SWEET!!
Nice!
Looks more like a Shuttle or RocketShip 😄 Awesome 😎
Very impressive Rescue! Don’t care much for the color !
It would be cool to nap in the back of that truck. FDIC better check to make sure im not back there when the lights go out for the night!
This is a very nice rig..........I wish the city of Newburgh had one of those
You live in the city if newburgh in Orange County?!?
@@mcfishfillet yeah
When you go into Pierce pulse and click every option! Kudos to them fitting them all in this rig.
That is a beautiful truck. I wonder how much that baby cost
I really hope this will be in Harrisburg 😉
that thing is awesome!
Hands down the best Fire apparatus manufactured!!!
When you don’t have a budget!!! And nobody is checking!!
It's amazing what you can order when you do have a budget.
@@rolandmiller5456it’s a nice truck . With absolutely everything and extra. Just seems a bit much for taxpayers. But hopefully it will serve them well
@@JS-zb1vv How Much Money Is Your Life Worth?
@@jameshawk1877 all of the show stuff has nothing to do with life safety. Actually they could have brought more life safety equipment for a lot of the show stuff on this rig . This is a volunteer department. I think I would have opted for full time personnel instead of this truck honestly.
@@jameshawk1877 I think the biggest problem is they opted for a ton of cosmetic options that have nothing to do with the performance of the apparatus or its crew. Those options aren’t cheap and probably made this piece far more expensive than it needed to be.
Damn I Cant Believe They Got It Fixed That Fast Caz They Crashed It Just Before
And now the question; for it's price will it last as much as a good old Mack??
I used to be a volunteer firefighter for Prince Georges county. I am a fan of the heavy rescue squad, but I am not a fan of the 300 gallon water that you carry on the rescue squad. I get it. Every department is different and every need is different different. When I was with PGFD. a truck company was a truck company a engine company was a engine company a heavy rescue company was a rescue company no cross breed equipment 😊😮
I was never a fan of a "wet squad". Now, iirc back in the 50's,60's, Cottage City had a Seagrave sedan style squad that was "wet". I was a member there 93 to 2000.👍🇺🇸
@@happycommentator6773 I was young when I join Station six and Prince Georges County. It’s funny now because my mother she did not want to sign the paperwork for me to be volunteer. I had to get my aunt to forage my mother’s name so I can join. I have no regrets love and respect Department 100% and miss it
Who makes those wheels?
Beautiful truck, but I think this guy needs some oxygen!
What we have here is an unlimited budget. That's a lot of bake sales.
Double Roto-Ray Baby.
Homeboy has 3 pillow orthopnea and needs some BIPAP.
How often would this truck actually be used to its full capability?
Probably most of the time
Well if you are gonna do two Roto-Rays, why not 6 of them? You could have one pointing up for the helicopters to see. You could have one in the rear, all amber to warn incoming traffic.
Is that a train horn at the bottom of the bumper?
Yes!
The rig looks good but your breathing is something to question
?😮😊
Want To See A Video Of It Responding
you wont...it never gets out
@@nickw1861 How often does it respond?
Spinning roto rays have to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen on the front of a fire apparatus. Especially in this day and age when we have so many better options to choose from.
Why the heck would you need TWO Rotoray's?? One is annoying enough!
I think it needs 4 total, personally.
Does anyone happen to have the specs for this truck?
Hi,
Here are the specs for this apparatus:

Where would I find the drawing/layout of everything? I tried looking on the website for it but is unable to find it.
Hi @@grahamkent2122, stay tuned the new delivery posting will be published this week!
Thank you
You CAN have too much cow bell!
Dual rotorays. What a bunch of wackers
Not a fan of pump/water. Use a 70 gallon CAFS system, much smaller. The pump and hose took up an entire compartment
As long as they have room for what they need it doesn’t matter but say you need more storage for something else that would be better in some cases
This was an amazing rescue until I found out that it has a pump.
Mmmm.
Not a fan of the double rotoray, or that ugly replacement for mars lights... or the lion decals on the sides
are you a firefighter go visit a station and see what it realy menans
@@johancoetzee1225 My entire channel is based around visiting fire stations 💀
@@bm7151ok but why mone about a new truck with a new look?
@@johancoetzee1225 Just my opinion. Didn't mean to be complaining 😭
still better than whatever Rosenbauer's making lol
Massive waste of taxpayer resources.
That pump and tank is damn near useless and you could do all those things with an engine. This screams volunteer = all the budget goes to rigs since there’s no payroll
Yes walkersville is a volly squad
I hope it fits in the firehouse
It should, this replaces an older Pierce Quantum they had.
