Hiya Lizbit, I love your energy relating to your plants. You are so natural and relatable. Just amazing. The Lemon-lime Maranta stole my heart. The tri-color is coming in at a close second.
Thank you for sharing! Absolutely understandable how the Anthuriums are your favourite they are gorgeous :D Fingers crossed your Florida Ghost doesnt keep pushing white tho!!
Whoaaa that marantha is the most stunning 💚💚💚 I had the same issue with my Florida ghost before when I placed it in a well lit area while blasted it with grow light. The leaves became bigger but super white that doesn’t turn green and then they get brown so quickly. I moved it to just enough indirect light and the new leaves it produces are much bette which eventually turned into minty green.
I can’t believe the maranta has done so well! I was nervous since people say it’s finicky but it’s been easy sailing so far. Maybe my ghost is too close to the grow light then. I have two lights directly on it. 😳
Hi! Your Jade is incredible - love it in that green pot, and ALL the new growth, that one will be a real showpiece before you know it...your Ghost is so pretty, that's been on my wishlist for a long time. Definitely going to put my Micans outside next year- the leaf size is amazing for a trailer! Also terrified to bring my Frydek inside! It's already in the 50's up here at night, so I can't put it off too much longer-wishing us both success keeping them out of dormancy. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 All your choices are really stunning...you are definitely doing everything right - those are some happy plants! Thanks for sharing your faves; nobody could argue with them! 💚👏🏽👏🏽🪴👏🏽👏🏽💚
I’m so not excited to bring any of my plants in. I normally wait until right before freezing temps, so end of October/beginning of November. Need to start prepping them now. 🥲
I love alocasia's, but the New York winters are brutal. And my apartment litterly has no humidity. No matter how much i try 😂 I'll continue to love them from a distance! 😂
My Alocasia micholitziana is a HUNGRY plant and thirsty. It currently puts out a leaf every other week after a die off a few months ago. So i have hope for also having a body sized one! Ha! Funny thing my first lemon lime maranta is coming this week with an order of hoya i got. I do have the red one though so i just have a feeling its going to do good.
She’s the only Alocasia I’m having any success with, so I’m pretty happy about that. I just wish I could get the others to be as happy! My lemon lime maranta is doing way better than my red, my red seems to be struggling lately. 😫 What Hoya did you order? My Hoya fever is fierce. 😂
@@Lizbitsleaves I'm in Ecuador and found a local importer who imports from Thailand via Colombia into the country so you can imagine the price hike. So I limit myself to 1 or 2 a month. My first is a hoya sunrise and hoya macrophylla variegata. I also joined a local group and found 2 cuttings of curtisii and krimson queen. all in all a good start to my small collection. I currently only have the standard carnosa and an australis. and that hoya fever is something fierce for sure!
Wow! Great video! 2 questions: 1) could you do a video on your pots. I notice you use cache pots. I love the idea but honestly they are hard to find, especially without drainage holes. 2). I love the Micans!!! That is on my list! I can’t find it anywhere. Do you know where to buy them online? Also I love the Aglonema! Beautiful! That is also on my wishlist! Thanks again!
Yes, I can definitely do a video about that! I get most of my plants on Etsy or Facebook marketplace. If you have Facebook, I would check there first for Micans because the prices are normally better than Etsy.
I’m actually going to make a video about this! I start using systemic pesticide around the beginning of October and blast the top of the soil with diatomaceous earth. I do this for about a month and when I bring them in, I give them a very good rinsing in the shower.
I have two huge Alocasia Hilo Beauties that are camouflaged. I bought both at Meijer not sure if you have that store. They were I think around $25-30 I can’t remember 😅 but the leaves get so big. I already have some way bigger than my head 😂I’m not sure where I’m going to put them in a few weeks when the temp gets lower 😑 zone 5-6 I’m on the boarder of the zones so 70-80 highs lows 50’s for now but I’m sure it’s going to get colder at night soon. I do like the one you have a lot. Hopefully I’ll see one soon.
@@Lizbitsleaves I just leave them alone for the most part and water when mostly dry. I’m hoping they transition into the house well. Little worried about that
your accent is just so wonderful to listen to !
Awh thank you! 🥰
Hi. I just found your channel and I'm glad. I'm a crazy plant person with almost 100 plants. Have a great day.
So glad to have you here!

Okay, I need a lemon lime plant 😍 beyond gorgeous!
I can give you cuttings!
@@Lizbitsleaves yes, please!!!
Where did you get that anthurium at? It’s stunning with those long leaves 😍😍😍
FLgreeneries on Etsy! I love their shop.
💚
I have one. Vittarifolium. ❤️❤️❤️
I adore my vittarifolium as well! It’s growing like crazy.

Your mican is beautiful wow
Thank you! I’m so proud.
How much humidity do you get around your home? My prayer plants get crispy leaves even with distilled water.
It stays at roughly 61%.
Calatheas are absolutely impossibile for me at least. I hv success with many difficult plants but I gave up on calatheas
I have 2 Calathea and they are not well. Maranta are much easier imo.
Love you lizbit
Love you 💜
What do you do when you bring them in? I'm so afraid of bugs.

Okay
The spider webs is a sign your plants have mites.
Thankfully it’s actual spider webs since a lot of my plants are outside. 🙂
But not every time

I love the Hilo beauty! I don’t have one since I’m not so great with Alocasia but I would love to have one eventually.

I’m worried about the transition as well. And I just found thrips on my Alocasia sting ray that’s outside. 🥲
