Congratulations, Neevesy! They really do look sweet. A beautiful drum kit in the house brings just as much pleasure as a beautiful bike in the garage. I've had my Tama Starclassic kit with Zildjian cymbals and Protechtor cases for 20+ years now. Lots of use including many, many gigs. Buy once, cry once! Totally worth it!!! 👍
Jobeky have been around for years, I've ordered cymbals and stuff from them before (Hi Jane!) but I built my own kit which I paired with a 2box module. It lives next to my Fireblade and Ducati 748 so I can enjoy my favourite hobbies together 😂
I just ordered my kit from Jobeky the other day! Now I am really excited...I am moving to an area where I will need to be much quieter and I think this will work! Great review.
I use a TD15 Roland for practice and live work. Congratulations on choosing the TD27 as you will find it very very reliable. The Jobeky looks really cool and a good investment .
Thanks for your effort making this! I too am just a casual drummer. Also was wondering how loud the heads actually are in a regular space, thanks for giving those cymbals a bang 🤘🤘
Thanks for the info about the kick drum. My kit just arrived and I have the same problem. Very bouncy. So I will have to play a bit with this. I'm worried if loosening too much won't damage the head or the sensor underneath. I know about the settings, this is something I think won't avoid setting it up. Maybe also a bit of tweaking of kick pedal will be needed.
This made me do a double take when the algorithm threw this video at me. I know sod all about drums and never held a stick in my life but yet I watched the whole thing.
Wasnt expecting this one. You got any family that plays as well? normally the love for this comes via a family member or older friend? My uncle was a great drummer back in the day.
Great review, thanks. FYI, your mesh head on your kick drum is wearing so badly because you're using a felt beater. Felt and mesh don't mix - the fibers catch on each other and it frays the skin. You either need a rubber beater, or a kick drum patch (which protects the mesh at the point of contact with the beater).
Nearly fell off my seat when I seen the link lol, try having the bass drum beater closer to the head , you don’t need the spring tension as high . To stop double triggering the beater head should be resting on the head between strikes just using your body weight ( no effort should be required) then the pedal should follow your foot but not feel like your doing a set of reps at the gym . P.S. I’m crap on my track bike but not to shabby on the drums 🍺
The drums make very little ambient noise when you hit them, so you won't have a problem there. That said, kicking the bass drum will still make a bang on the floor, but you could always stuff it full of pillows or a duvet to damp it down.

I subscribe to a lot of drum channels and thought there was an issue with UA-cam mixing videos and titles up, had know idea that you played. Top man

Love that mate, proper nice kit and best of both worlds .
Gotta have a cowbell! Nice one Neevesy 👍

The heads are pretty quiet. No louder than drumming on your thighs with your hands 👍

Great review. Just a tip. Get a patch on the bass drum because the felt beater will eat through the mesh head.

Man of many talents! Perhaps you need to turn the traction control off on the base kicker.

Interesting thanks from me too
What's the capacity, and can you use a Power Commander with it? 😜

If you want a jam I'll haul my guitar round... I'll have to bring the car though.
Do you think this would be okay to have in an flat?

thanks so much :) @@neevesybikes
Put a pillow or blanket, or both into your kick drum and it won’t be so loud.
Another Jobeky fan here and can only reiterate your comments. Please check out my walk around and unboxing vids 👍🏻
