Your recipe for humus sounds delicious! You have actually enhance the flavour with garlic infused olive oil , cumin powder , and sweet smoked Spanish paprika! I can't wait to make it....
Mmmm we're talking yummy hummus here!! :) Love the ingredients you added and the richness of this hummus!! Yesss you definitely took it to a whole nother level!! Thanks for sharing the goodness. 😊👍
Tahini is a premium priced product here and so a "no tahini hummus" recipe is a great idea. I also have to thank you for suggesting peanut butter as a - sort of - tahini substitute. Muchas gracias. One request - can you show a yemas recipe one day? I was travelling around Spain in the mid-80's and in Castille-LaMancha we splurged on a Parador one night and tasted this "local speciality" for desert. Never saw it again anywhere :-(.
Garbanzos have got to be my first favorite beans....are they beans? Legumes? Whatever, they taste so good! Yes, umphf is a word here in the US :) Ajos, si! Bellisimo a 4:02 Oh man, crazy crunchy eating there you showed......lovely! Thanks for sharing, and all our best to you and yours!
Excellent recipe Albert. We make hummus all the time, we love the stuff. I've never tried using pine nuts only tahini but pinenuts would be awesome I bet
Its so funny, i love garbanzo beans, but i don't like Hummis lol Go figure. However Albert this looks so good! Very well done. I will have to check that olive oil link out!
So not all Hummus has tahini! Yes it’s very common ingredient in hummus but it’s also the most expensive as well! Maybe next time just mention why you choose not to use an ingredient Sorry I was reading some of the comments left here but awesome job looked great and great use of the ingredients 🤯
I should have stated it, didn´t know the end of the world was coming for not using tahini, the pine nuts and cumin replace the flavors here, but hey everyone has their opinion, thanks for the comment brother :) have a great weekend!
@@SpainonaFork hi just wanted to ask why not add some pjne nuts in the food processor as it needs fat or does it taste fine without. I been searching for comments of someone having made it but can't
Mine's creamier and made with freshly cooked chickpeas and tahini. This is a chickpea puree, not hummus, sorry. Tahini is a very very big flavor and textural component of the preparation.........

Hola, great tasty dish ... greetings from Tom
Thanks for the comment Tom :) have a great weekend!
Last and only time I made hummus from scratch, I ground the garbanzo beans by hand with a wooden spoon. Took a lot of work but it wasn't too bad
I didn't own a blender
Yeah, you gotta have a food processor for this recipe to work, but hey I applaud you for making it from scratch! much love
Its so funny, i love garbanzo beans, but i don't like Hummis lol Go figure. However Albert this looks so good! Very well done. I will have to check that olive oil link out!

Wow my fav
Thanks for the comment :) Much love!
tahini gives it an extra smoothminess
It does, but if you skip the tahini and slowly pour in the cold water, it gives it the exact same creamy texture
Foe those who think humus is spanish, well you're wrong 💀😆😆
👍👍
Thanks for the comment :) much love
Spain on a Fork dear ... :) I wish you much success in everything you do ... 🤍🌟
no Tahini?
Most folk´s don´t have tahini and it´s very expensive, I prefer to use a little cumin for flavor to replace the tahani, incredible flavor and cheaper

you should make a video of your creamy and authentic hummus, I would love to see it :)
Very diplomatic response, Albert. Love it!
@@SpainonaFork very polite haha, thank you! I may post it on my instagram
