Once again, a simple 3 minute video helps me understand this better than 1hour and 45minutes of my maths teacher just confusing me and not knowing how to teach it properly
It's rare to find straight to the point explanations without an intro that takes up 3/4 of the video for pretty much anything these days, it's all about views and subscribers. On the other hand, this is a simple, short and easy to understand tutorial. Brilliant.

Normally my teacher is really good at teaching but with online schooling it's so much harder to grasp this and feel like I'm having to teach myself because of it.
This was super helpful! I was having trouble and this completely helped me understand it. On a side note, if equation one and two have a minus, just multiply one by a negative number so the y values equal zero! I know it seems obvious, but it took me a while!

3 years late but they most likely use a writing pad which you can plug in with a usb and use a pen and write on that and then it appears on the screen

Here’s a tip:
After making Y the same on both equations (6y) look at the value in front of it. This will tell you wether to subtract or add.
so is it same sign subtract and different sign add? so if its a + and - you add (like in the video) and if its + and + you subtract
