Wait a second I have a question that you have eliminated Y and Y by subtraction and you have also added the first coefficient and last constant and you only subtract variable Y and Y how! it should be Subtract with these 2 equations but you have subtracted and did Add with mix 🤔 it’s much confusing only this is my problem!? We can also do like this 2x + Y = 5 + 3x - Y = 5 ------- 5x = 10 X = 10/5 X =2 Put the value of x in equation 1. 2x + Y=5 2(2)+Y=5 4+Y=5 Y=5-4 Y= 1 So you have divided and wrote it long Is this right!? I have copied your answer on first just make it short and also don’t know this operation in these 2 equations!?

5x = 10
X = 10/5
X =2
Put the value of x in equation 1.
2x + Y=5
