The weight aspect is SO real. To the point where I questioned if I even wanted it because of the responsibility that comes with marriage and the warfare.
50:08 true. There's a difference between apologizing and repentance. Apologizing is saying you're sorry, but repentance is changing and letting go of sin.
I’m so grateful you both did a video on asking if you’re even ready! Many romanticize marriage and are just trying to get there, but there is a purposeful wait and a journey. It’s not just about the wedding day or finally checking a box. Learning to hear the voice of God and seeing God as the one who can fulfill whatever you’re yearning for FIRST are key! If you’re desiring love, do you know God loves you more than you could ever imagine? Do you know God as the protector, confidant, friend, perfect Father/mother/sibling, way maker and (fill in the blank) you’re yearning for ? Do you even submit to Him (for ladies who will need to submit to their husbands and men who will have a woman of God submit to them)? Are you thriving in this season or just waiting for what’s next? God has so much for us today- not all about marriage but also becoming the women and men for the divine purpose He has for us. That also could be becoming the person that can sustain the blessing of the very marriage we have been contending for! This video was so good ladies! Excited for part II!
Oouu!! I love this comment! For some time, I was idolizing marriage as the "what's next?" in my life. Once i realized that it can't just be a check off of a box for me, I really needed to prepare myself for what I am asking for. It slowed down my urge but fastened my preparation to be ready for my husband and marriage. Blessings unto you for this comment. 🙏🏾
Wow this convicted me so much, the part on listening to a podcast and calling it confirmation, neglecting going back to God and regaining clarity, that’s huge!❤
I rarely leave comments on videos however This was so good!! It wasn’t your typical “are you ready for marriage ?”vids. I loved and appreciated how you emphasized the hearing/ knowing the voice of God. This is key to life general, & made me pause and listen intently to the conversation. Thank you!! Can’t wait for part 2!
"you can't make a decision on that moment because all of that fade quickly once you get in marriage and attacks begin". Ohh what an eye opening statement 😭🙏.
I had a vision of my husband but I couldn’t think of anyone it looked like in my life. I also wasn’t able to discern if it was the lord or the enemy. & you nailed it when you said discerning the voice of the lord! He actually brought me to fasting in order to get clarity
I’m just curious where the scriptures confirmed to stop praying for your brother? That’s hard for me to wrap my mind around, as scriptures says “pray without ceasing” and also “don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything”.
Jeremiah 7:16 Yes pray without ceasing generally but God will always give in specific instructions according to His will but it’s always for good (Romans 8:28)
God still speaks. Be it as Rhema Word or The Logos. That's why it is important to have a personal relationship with Him. Also you won't always get a scripture reference and His Rhema Word will have to suffice. 1 Samuel 16 NIV. The LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king." This verse sounds harsh but God said what He said. He is God which accords Him the right to just be and do without much explanation. I hope this helps. ❤
Below are some scripture references, but the main thing is to OBEY the voice of the Holy Spirit for what He has instructed even when it does not make sense. He will show you in His word as you seek Him and the more you know Him, the more you know His character and His heart in order to test the Spirit as you hear different instructions. Jeremiah 7:16 NKJV [16] “Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you. 1 Samuel 16:1 Now the Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons.” Psalm 81:11-12 11“But My people would not heed My voice, And Israel would have none of Me. 12So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, To walk in their own counsels. Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; Titus 3 10Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, 11knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.
I really enjoyed this episode so much! The only perspective I would offer is that we, in America, call on the name Jesus because Christianity is the primary religion here. If you go to a different country where another religion is primary, if they were in danger as you all made reference to, they would not be calling on the name Jesus. To say that we inherently call on His name because we are created in His image ignores the cultural and historical role of Christianity in America on Americans, even unbelieving Americans. Otherwise, great episode and I look forward to hearing part 2
@ thank you, sister 🦋☺️ my dreamscape is in constant flux and I’m just praying and trusting God, even if I have unpleasant dreams, everything is by God’s will he will turn good what the enemy meant for evil 🔥
@Romezens Is that Rom 8:28 😊, if it's like that then maybe they're attacks, but yes keep praying and getting to know God, allowing the Holy spirit to teach you all things, it will make sense eventually. ❤️, God be with you.
@@lindandlovu9317 oh wow that’s a powerful scripture, especially continued into verse 30 🥰🥰 I was actually thinking about in Gen 45:5-8 how there’s always a bigger plan through God, that Joseph would be made a slave and eventually preserve life in his higher anointing ⭐️ have a beautiful day sis 🦋🦋🦋✨🎀
@lindandlovu9317 hi beautiful sister! I forgot to tell you the other day literally hours after receiving your comment, I had spontaneously attended a revival and the Evangelist brought up that Rom 8:28 passage and most of his sermon, that Jesus is Here to Heal really resonated with me - I’m just so excited when confirmation follows me 🔥✨
This was a really good conversation but I do want to clarify that for those of us who believe that Jesus is a prophet and the Messiah we call out to Allah (God). As a convert I’m conditioned to say Jesus’ name in some moments but had I not been conditioned by my upbringing I would just call out to God by saying God. Many Muslims call out to Allah (God) and don’t call out to Jesus. I just wanted to clarify.
What scriptures could you advise to read to gain discernment when you have a dream of someone that has hurt you in the past and you continue to cancel the dream
There's a lot that could play into that, but pray for revelation as to the person, and what they represent and also ask God to show you if you have truly forgiven that individual. Psalm 139:1-18 for revelation about self, and ask for wisdom according to James 1:5-8. As you sit with the Lord and allow Him into the painful places, He'll make it clear.
The weight aspect is SO real. To the point where I questioned if I even wanted it because of the responsibility that comes with marriage and the warfare.
Knowledge is key, you have an understanding that so many people don't. Stay encouraged🙏🏾

Can you talk about finances? Like how do you go about finances in marriage, and how do you approach it in conversation w/your spouse.
Powerful and in tune. Many takeaways, wisdom imparted. Thank you, God bless you guys, truly.

I kept having wedding dreams about my then partner, especially after each break. It makes me wonder just what to make of those now as strangers
Dreams don't always come from God or the devil, or even our subconscious mind, but they can come from any of the above and you should find out
