Flush House isn't even on the wikipedia page for poker hands. Royal Flush isn't either, but it's mentioned in the Straight Flush section.
I mean yeah, *technically* a royal flush is just a nickname for the highest possible straight flush. It's pedantic for sure though. Also flush house got me fucked up.
A "flush house" can't be gotten in normal poker because it requires multiple copies of the same card. It's made up for this game.

I think the disconnect here comes from Spanish poker cards, where the 10 and the jack are the same card, thus 9 is what you use for a flush and straights.
I have no idea if that’s true, but that sounds plausible. I would love if someone else experienced with Spanish poker would weigh in and say if this could be an honest mistake or if that chatter was goobin hard.

Just one thing worth noting: a royal flush is not "special" in the same way that the other named hands have a specifically defined order. It's simply the best straight flush. Even if it weren't named, the royal flush would still be the best hand, because it's an ace high straight flush. They just gave it a name, because it's the best hand.
