1.- Become aware of what you don't want in life and where you will end up if you continue on your current path. This involves taking the time to reflect on your current situation and evaluate whether it aligns with your goals and values. 2.- Observe the masses and see where mindless action leads. This involves paying attention to the choices and behaviors of others and considering the potential consequences of those actions. 3.- Think deeply and don't just accept what you see on the surface as reality. This involves questioning assumptions and considering multiple perspectives in order to gain a deeper understanding of a situation. 4.- Create a negative vision, or "anti vision," of your future to better understand what you do want in life. This involves taking the time to identify and write down everything you do not want in your life in order to clarify your goals and priorities. 5.- Use negative emotions to fuel your efforts towards achieving your goals. This involves harnessing feelings of anger or frustration in a productive way and using them as motivation to work towards your goals. 6.- Create a plan and strategy for working towards your vision on a day-to-day and week-by-week basis. This involves setting specific, achievable goals and developing a plan for how to achieve them on a regular basis. 7.- Eliminate distractions and negative influences from your life. This involves cutting out people, activities, or habits that do not align with your goals or values. 8.- Create order in your life to prevent decline into chaos. This involves developing routines and systems for managing your time and resources in a way that allows you to make progress towards your goals.
If you are reading this, we have something in common. That commonality is that burning passion to change your future, otherwise you wouldn't consume such amazing content that Dan Koe provides. Let's all crush year 2023 and beyond to reach our true potential. Goodluck to everyone. 💪🧠
A hot tip I learned last year; Just about the only reason we humans do anything at all is to avoid discomfort. Once you have a goal you're set on achieving, manufacture discomfort into your life that only achieving that goal will remove. I'm in the process of starting a business, and I knew that I would undoubtedly give up on it if I stayed in my relatively comfortable job, so I quit and got an entry level job. It's been 5 months and every day I can't wait to get home and learn something new/ work on my business to escape this reality, but I've never been happier
Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!
Starting early is simply the best way of getting ahead to build wealth , investing remains a priority . I learnt from my last year's experience , I am able to build a suitable life beause I invested early ahead this time .
The rich Invest in alternative income streams that are independent of the government should be the top priority for everyone right now. especially given the global economic crisis we are currently experiencing. Stocks, gold, silver, and virtual currencies are still attractive investments at the moment...
I thought about investing in the financial market, I heard that people make millions if you know the tricks of the trade, but I lack good knowledge and a strategy to outperform the market and generate good yields. I have $160,000 but it's hard to bite the bullet and do it.
Having an investment advisor is the best way to go. Based on a direct encounter with a CFP named Kate Elizabeth Amdall, I can say with certainty that their skills are excellent. She helped raise over $580,000 in 18 months from an initially stagnant portfolio of $150,000
Ive been livin a 'monk' life for a while now. Ive deleted every social media account that i had. I dont have television anymore. I have no internet in my house anymore. I used to have a 2k euro gaming pc. I gave it away to my sister. All i do now is wake up at 5 am. Go for a run. Work. After work i workout or go boxing. Reading, cleaning house, making social connections. Also i am on nofap, i take cold showers for 2mins every other day. I dont drink alcohol, smoke or use any drugs. I work at saturday most of the weekends. I dont drink anything other than water or fresh juice. Also pay attention to my diet.. its hard to manage all these things and i fail from time to time. All that matters is resetting my brain to its natural state and working on discipline. Become pure and disciplined to achieve greatness
"Make a habit of the boring fundamentals but realize that the boring fundamentals are not boring. Because most successful people they take the same repetitive actions on a day to day basis." Thank you for this.
I'll tell you a very simple trick to stay motivated. "Accept that every moment whether good or bad was for only for a little while." So many of us procrastinate thinking of going back to the past moments and reliving it one day as a hero that we never were. Its like that poem that goes No matter where my mind is, My heart is at home, My childhood burried there, Longing for the old days to comeback.
@@rail7646 Motivation isn't weakness. That's just falsehood, like the claim that we should eat no sugar because it's bad for us. Motivation, like sugar, is an essential nutrient. We need it when we need it, it can save us, and it makes life sweeter. But its effect is as temporary as it is powerful, so it cannot be our primary means of energy, let alone our only one. But to suggest it is weakness is just farttalk. Intestinal gas disguised as wisdom.
@@jgsource552 technically speaking, when you teach yourseld to enjoy hard things you rewire your brain to produce dopamine when you're in literal pain, cuz you can see the long term goal clearly and it overweights the immediate pain. So no, motivation isn't temporary, your motivation is just misdirected as motivation is simply dopamine.
THIS VIDEO!!!! I really want to thank you for changing my 2023. I have a background in coaching, but we are good at giving advice BUT not on helping ourselves. it would be a miserable year without your videos. I had a stroke at age 31 (35 now) and was retired due to permanent disability. now I'm determined to change my year, get in shape, start an online career and spread your worldview that helped me so much. I have your planners at this momment. gratitude!
The timing of this video showing up is impeccable! I quite literally feel at rock bottom in life right now in everyway. But the things you mentioned like feeling like shit and disappearing for awhile are all feelings I've been having lately. but watching this confirmed the thoughts I had are all normal and that I just want to use the time to make a comeback and show up for myself and cut out the bullshit. good luck to everyone in 2023. thanks for the honest encouragement Dan
All the best brother. May be the time is a little hard for you. But the best part is that its TIME. This too shall pass . Stay Focused all the best ❤️🩹
I sincerely feel this too. I believe that 2023 is going to be a year where a huge population of boys turn into men, build discipline, and earn a healthy lifestyle. We are all in this together, so let's all escape the matrix brothers!
I had nothing at age 25, my missus had left with my kid and I was insolvent and suicidal. I read 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and made a 7 year plan. I now have a succesful business, 3 houses, no money worries and a happy family life. Basically, all you need to do is write a long term plan (your ideal end game), then a number of short term actions you need to take to get there. And re-read it every week so you dont go off-course. That's it!
Successful people don't become that way overnight. what lost people see as glance wealth, a great career, purpose-is the results of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that everyone reading this will be successful in life...
Speaking of successful, Mrs Luciana Butler the bitcoin trader is legit and her methods works like magic I keep on earning every week with her new strategy
I did this 2 years ago and I was crushing everything in my life positively, got into a relationship and now that relationships finished and I need to move forward in life. This is a good push in the right direction for me mindset wise, cheers mate! ✌️👑
Very inspirational stuff man, currently working on self improvement, consistency, meditation and manifestation. I am 26 and have been trying different jobs and hobbies since I was 13, I have FINALLY found my passion. Now It's time to get to work. I'm going full on MONK MODE! 2023 won't stand a chance. Keep the content coming, subbed 100%
@@freckleheckler6311 Well I started a ebay business selling used powersport parts 2 years ago. I'm currently working on 3D printing products to sell online, and I also fix and flip vehicles locally for a profit. What I ultimately found out is that I DON'T have to choose. It's not one "single" business being a passion but all of them! The constant drive for problem solving, the constant drive for becoming a better version of myself, the constant drive for learning something my brain says I cant do, and the constant drive to provide the best life for my family by any means nessasary. That's my passion, to just DO whatever my brain thinks of next. Enstead of keeping it locked away and not taking action. Thanks for anyone who reads this till the end. I wish you all immense success in life, just stop thinking and start DOING!
As someone who's actually lived several years as a monk I agree that creating a world around you that is beneficial to whatever you want to achieve is something everyone should consider. Rare to hear someone speak of this in terms of creating a life that you enjoy the way Dan just did, make sure you listen to his advice :) It's bound to give you some great results!
@@DanKoeTalks getting the hang of youtube and have many topics I'd like to cover and eventually courses which is how I found you. Apreciate them.
@@MartinKPettersson I'm so glad you commented on Dan's video otherwise I would never have found and watched your video on how to stop my thoughts. Seriously it worked and I've been looking for it my entire life. Thank you so much Martin.
@@D9xAbstract wrote, _"You can not move what is not in your control. No one has control of life."_ One thing I've noticed about online comments is that many of them will focus on a word, but do so _outside of the context_ in which the word was originally used. By changing the context, they then have something with which they can disagree and so... they do just that. However, to change the context of something simply in order to disagree with that something is an error in thinking, aka a 'fallacy'. In this case, it's called a 'strawman' fallacy. Because whenever we change something about the case that another person is making, we turn what they *actually* said/intended into something that the *didn't* actually say/intend. In other words, we 'create a strawman'. And, the utility of creating a strawman is that it's something we find easy/easier to 'knock down' or, in the context of online comments, easier to disagree with. Everything is in our control to some degree. If not at the origin, then at least at some point along the way. I cannot stop the process of phytosynthesis in a plant, and I cannot stop the sun from emitting light. However, I can build a structure that shades some plants in my area of influence such that they don't get any light from the sun. And, when I deprive the plants of sunlight, they cannot perform photosynthesis. So, as you now see, many things are within the sphere of our _indirect_ control, even though we may not be able to _directly_ control certain processes or states of being. And that also relates to the 2nd part of your comment: while no one has control of life, as in every minute detail of life overall, there are some aspects of life that apply to our experience that we do have control over. If not direct control (plants doing photosynthesis, sun shining), then often indirect control (building a structure that blocks the sun's light from particular plants within our sphere of interest/control). You are more capable of influencing large systems than you can possibly imagine. Look for why this is true, rather than for why this is false, and you will find what you seek.
this was so refreshing. law of attraction gurus and enthusiasts are gonna hate this but i so agree with you and have neen gaslighting myself to “stay positive” or else i’ll “attract” what i don’t want. thank u Dan ❤🙌🏻
i dont really think so because some studies say that the subconcious mind dont give a consideration to negation he accept every affirmation without considering negation
- Use negative energy to motivate yourself and get the energy to do what you need to do. Write the antivision. Write what you don't want your life to be. - Laser in on one goal for the future - Plan and strategies on your day to day bases, week by week, year - Disappear and get work done PS: this is just a summary for me in case I want to look back. Please don't reply to this comment. Thanks!
Yeah but all of this BS because we're about to lose everything we hold dear from climate change and biodiversity loss. None of this will matter in 10 years. Man you people are so short sighted.
I’ve been in monk mode for one month now. I’ve learned a lot but there is definitely a balance that should be found between focusing on the vision and just letting go and enjoying life sometimes.
I wonder about this, should I read or should I play PlayStation. Reading isn't as hyper entertaining as PlayStation. But I know tomorrow morning I might just be looking forward to playing PlayStation rather than being present and focusing on my work(when it's time to work). The other thing is, reading isn't going to be enough to take a load off(reading is still work, to some extent). In conclusion, would it be a good idea to overstimulate yourself with something like PlayStation after you've done your work. I'm asking because I don't want to buy a PlayStation and do the experiment, to find out.
I’ve done full on monk mode and I can definitely say you need to take it easy on yourself sometimes. Maybe schedule one or two hours a day where you just look at memes and play video games - you’ll still make a ton of progress as long as you’re consistent with your goals.
Merry Christmas everyone. Thanks for another inspiring viewpoint Dan. Personally I like the shorter format as well, and the more content we see from you the better!
I’ve got two months to find a full time job that’s high paying enough and to move out into my own apartment or I’m screwed. That negative feeling of fear of failure is a strong push for me now. I’ve disappeared but I’m happy! Working two jobs no friends, applied to 25 places in the past week. Telling only strangers my life to get free networking and advice! I will do this!! Two interviews down, only a matter of time for all the energy I put in to this life change to being to bear some fruits…then hundreds of quiet and determined steps later I hope to come back to type that I have my own apartment, and stable income, and working towards the next bigger thing. Never getting too comfortable, but enjoying the journey.
Brother, if we affect 5 people in a positive way, we are as famous or moreso than, Dan has affected i'd say an incredibly larger amount of people than many "celebrities", I'm going to finish this in the main thread
2022 was brutal but a great teacher for me and the last days were meditation/retreat days. I am arriving at the same conclusion, especially to be aware of what you don't want/who I am not. I have so much to share but at the moment I want to say thank you friend, it seems like you are serious about what you are saying and responsible for what you are sharing-much appreciation.
Finding your channel was one of the best things in 2022. I was starving for this content. I shared it with a couple of people. Not much reactions. They don't even comprehend the deep knowledge that you share with us for free. Thank you, Dan.
This is the first video i saw and i already love your approach. No bullshit, no fluff, no introduction, just straight to the point. I'm already subscribed.
Fantastic video! Love the point of “disappearing from the things you don’t want in your life”. Too often people get hung up on excuses for “why aren’t you doing X?”. You don’t need an excuse, “because” is enough of a reason to not do something.
Man, I'm a 21-year-old in college trying to learn every concept in my grade and I've been failing in projects over and over; you said everything that has been through my mind about taking a lifetime to perfect a project and your skills. I thought I was wrong about this, but your piece of advice took a large weight off my shoulders. Thank you
Short videos like this are very helpful to get our motivation up in a quick way, without feeling like we are procrastinating on UA-cam again. So it's effective to keep the momentum of productive behaviour so to speak. Thank you, all you said was something I need to hear often
The disappearing is something I did years ago. Cut everyone out of my life. I don't socialise at all and I feel free to focus on my goals. Physical discipline leads to mental discipline. My diet keeps me in shape and I suspect is where everyone watching this video should start. Mr Koe knows of what he speaks.
Superbly pragmatic and beautifully insightful content. I found this channel yesterday, watched two videos and did one of the thinking exercises. I woke up this morning, quit my miserable job (which I was on the verge of for months now) and literally landed a freelancing gig later that afternoon. I still have to keep the restaurant job in the meantime but I'm not the same person I was a day ago I can feel it. Today, I was a writer. So it might take a lifetime to be a GREAT writer but... oh, what a life! PS I liked the shorter video. It's a lot to unpack in your videos so sometimes I found myself pausing to reflect, or listening to different bits over again. This video was perfect length to get the gist and implement right away. Thank you, Dan!
This is amazing advice. I have never thought about such a thing called "Anti-Vision" or contemplating about the things that you don't want to happen in your life, because I was too stuck up in the grand scheme of things and the stuff that I actually want to achieve and attain in my life and most of it is actually just good and that's what I mostly journal and write about, but now that I know that anti-vision and thinking about the things that you don't want to happen in your life has made it even more easier for me to stick to moving towards the best path, which is the path that I've inevitably chosen and not the path that will lead me astray and make the worse of me (e.g. Playing video games, not exercising, wasting my time on short-form mindless content, and being so poor that I can't even provide for myself nor my family.)

After 6 months of self improvement I am unsatisfied with my progress. You have told me exactly what to do. Now I will stop thinking and just do it. You are awesome. 🙏
I personally think you first have to go through the thinking phase, get used to the idea first then you come to a position where you just have to start putting all the teachings into practise 🙌🏼

My rule of thumb is that when you can spend the majority of your time thinking about what you want, you are already on top of the mole hill. It's when you have that burning sensation & are unable to flow that you need to start thinking about becoming an expert or an elite. Why maneuver when you are happy. We maneuver when we are being burned. A lot of my delayed gratification strategies came to me when I was happy. Their applications came when my happiness was threatened.

Weight training is very fun and I know personally I hate running. Also MMA is very cardio intensive and will make you burn a crazy amount of calories. These two ideas are both alternatives to cardio if you dread it like me. You can even do both if you want.
## Lessons - Become aware of the things that you don’t want 1. Not to be unhealthy and unathletic anymore 2. To not waste time anymore 3. Not be a part of the common mass 4. Lack of money to ever be a problem in my life - It’s easier to know what you don’t want than to know what you want just from mindless imagination 1. Not be part of a monotonous cycle ( whether a 9 to 5 pvt. job or a gov. job) 2. Not to be fat anymore (short term). 3. Not to be academically poor. 4. Have general awareness. - Do not be a victim of entropy 1. Do not let the entropy take control of your life. Plan your days and weeks ahead of time. 2. Become aware of the things that are holding you back. May it be people, apps etc.. (roaming around the campus aimlessly ) , ( using reddit all day) , (completing syllabus at the last day) 3. You need energy to prevent entropy ( especially mental energy) to actualize or manifest that vision - Disappear 1. Disappear from unnecessary things 2. Stay from from bad influence 3. Stay away from bad habits. 4. In short pull the band aid off. Just do it ✔. - Prioritizing long term success and mastery is the origin story 1. Go to the Gym daily 2. Spend at least 2 hrs. in the library. 3. Read newspaper (editorials) daily.
I've been doing most of this for 2-3 months, and this just makes me want to keep it up. Also as a tennis player, I relate to this and connected with the "when will I compete?" Everything happens for a reason. Let's crush 2023
You got me in the first 30 seconds of the video. I'm feeling lost these weeks, things are not going as wanted and expected and I'm performing actions and habits I'm not proud of. Thinking about where I would end up if I continued following these habits made me realize how badly I wanna change this situation. In 6-12 months I wanna be the best version of myself. I wanna be proud of what I achieved. And it all starts now. Thanks for the reminder 💪
Merry Christmas! Yes, please keep ‘em coming! I fully resonate with your vibe and content and it confirms and clearly defines key realizations I am having like almost in real time. It’s epic, and it really really helps me to keep my mind focused in the right direction. So, if you can make short videos every week, that would be awesome! Hearing your voice and guidance is profoundly inspiring, grounding and motivating, and 100% in line with my intentions. 🙏🏽
I love it and remember feeling the same way when watching others on youtube (Abdullah Zeinab being one, unfortunate he left UA-cam) Thank you for watching GG
I love what you said about using negative emotions. As an actor, one of my favorite lessons is that everything works when it’s true. A beautiful performance comes from embracing and leaning into whatever comes up because the rawness of the truth will be the thing an audience can latch onto, even if they can’t fully place it. One of my favorite practices is to channel a destructive habit into something that works for me. The fact something destructive becomes habit is because there is something in it that inspires continued action, even if not in the realm I may want. So digging deeper into the cause of the negative action can reveal an inherent need that can be retooled into something enriching. This nailed the subscription for me. Loved the video game analogy video you made too!
Being a supply / substitute teacher and feeling drained by the middle of the week, this really resonated with me. It pushes me to learn to code and try to improve my life.
Just a little idea about disappearing/cutting out bad habits: If you try to cut out all of your bad habits at the same time you'll feel overwhelmed. What I'd recommend is that you cut them out one by one. Like building a habit. You can't start a bunch of new habits at the same time. Do one habit for a month and stick to it. Then try a new habit the next month. You can also do this with cutting out bad habits out of your life.
mn37 yes because quiting a habit uses some of the pool of willpower, so quiting one bad habit at a time or installing 1 good habit at a time will use less of the willpower pool, meditation is also good for replenishing willpower reserves,
It takes 60 days to form a new habit. That means if you need money fast this is not going to get that so then what do you do when you need the very minimal basics as fast as possible?
Monk Mode is great for anyone trying to be a better version of themselves and achieving greater things. It's so easy to become part of the routine and follow the masses. Knowing that this is not what you want in life is a great first step and videos like these are a great second step to get guided in the right direction. Becoming a sheep and follow the masses ends up with you staying a sheep. Plan out your goals, see what lies ahed of you if you don't change, get rid of distractions (whether that's bad habits, bad friends or both) and create a new routine to execute your plans! Great video !

Thank you Dan for this timely video! Your content is so motivating and a kick-in-the-butt. And thank you for making this video short. Your longer videos are too much for me to handle in one go; there is so much to learn, so much to process. This bite-sized video was perfect for me. Thank you!
This is great! I'm an artist and I used to draw in cafes and people would say, "I wish I had your talent." I used to tell them that it's not talent. That it's years and years of practice to get good. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. That reminded me of the Tim Ferriss's mental exercise of the "fat Man in the lambo". A reminder to he and his productivity buddy to work hard and be sucessful, but not in a meaningless, self destructive way (jeopardizing your health while buying things that don't really add up in your life compared to ALL the experiences that you could've bought with the same amount of money)
I love both the short and the long videos. I think we definitely need both to help us in leveling up in our journey this year. We can watch these kind of short videos for a quick mental boost or motivation and then the longer ones work when we are slacking and need a huge smack on the face :)
So, been there done that. Many divergent instructions from various good and helpful intentioned people of all ages and experiences. Interestingly this short from Christmas 2023 appeared in my feed while I'm launching Christmas in August 2024. Love the algo.
Thank goodness you brought this up! Truly, investing has changed my perspective on how one can succeed in life; working multiple jobs isn't the optimal way to attain financial freedom and unfortunately, we discover this later in life. Currently earn as much as 10 grand weekly and this has improved my financial life. Great piece!
Wow, congratulations on your impressive investment success! Your discipline and focus on delayed gratification is truly inspiring. I'm curious, what are some of the key factors that you consider when making investment decisions? Do you have any tips for those of us who are just starting to dip our toes into the world of investing? Thanks for sharing your story!
she's a known advisor. I actually did look her up curiously and went through her credentials on her webbsite... Top-notch! I wrote her an email, hopefully she's accepting new intakes.
Man this resonated with me. I remember back when I was learning how to code. It was the only thing I did day in, and day out thinking that this should not fail. My only motivation was that I don't want to be poor lol. To this day I can't bring myself to put in as much work as I did during that time. It's weird that when the reward is certain you lose that fire to just keep going. Looking forward to being more ambitious this coming year 💪💪
@@Ddmd1789 I relapsed after 2 months identified key issues i was having then gone 9 months without stopping. I ended up being over qualified for my first job but with very bad social/team skills[1]. Lots of companies outsourcing dev work here. [1]: to be expected for everyone self-taught.
@@Ddmd1789 Do it on the side. build and ship many small projects then once you can piece things out -- only then you should do big projects for your resume. Swe is the only job I know of that doesn't care about degrees as much. Employers only really care about what you can build with what tools.
@@romanmunar thanks for the input man! I'm from south America, and english is not so common here. I'd also be looking to be hired from an outsource company since they can pay more the average here. My biggest wish in life. Unironically. And im not some edgy teenager. Im a 30+ year old adult is: Being jobless at home and playing videogames the whole day. Period. People constantly tell me "No thats not what u really want" "No thats just running from reality" "Thats just a substitute for doing something meaningfull, which is what you really want" How do you know? Literally... how do you know? Can you read my mind? Im HAPPY in this. Yes. I know you cant rly believe it... but this fullfills me. It makes me truly happy. And its not that i dont know "the other side". Im from a very rich household in one of the richest countries on earth. And while i have to admit... i really really enjoy traveling to japan and being a weeb (annoying anime-fan) there. Its literally the only thing in life, next to anime-figurines... which i need money for. I dont enjoy: Friends Relationships Working Being "successfull" in a way normies define it I do enjoy: Enjoying all those big awesome new JRPGs Enjoying all those big awesome new tv shows and animes/mangas Doing these while everyone else is (from my pov) "wasting" their life by doing some wagie jobs until they come home tired at evening and watching netflix Going to Gym daily and workout (i truly enjoy this tho) Yes. I know this is not really understandable for "Normal" people. I HATE to socialize. I have literally 0 interesst in relationship or sexual activity (i had sex, but i honestly just found it absurdly boring), im REALLY not interessted in a love relationship at all... such a person would only horrible annoy me over time. I love being alone and doing what i want the whole day while everyone else is waiting for weekend And yes... even if you give me billions, even if i would had endless money, a private jet, cars, alot of good friends and waking up tomorrow with 4 girls naked next to me.... i would go insantly back to my NEET-Life. I would kick out any other person out of my villa, the friends, the girls... and do big gaming rooms for myself, rooms full of anime figurines etc. And then... i would just continue playing videogames the whole day. (alltho, i WOULD go 3 months to japan every year with that amount of money, but this is basically rooted on the very same interessts (Games and Animes)) So this is not "because i lack options" or "im too tired to do effort"... this is WHAT I WANT. My ENDGOAL of life. And im extremly happy with it However..... The country i live in is kinda a double-edged sword for this. It DOES pay well, even if your unemployed. But everything is time-limited and full of control when it comes to gettin wellfare-money So my biggest problem in life is: I need to become successfull...... to get the money i want..... to drop everything and living unsuccessfull without being bothered...... its dumb. My "anti-vision" i want to avoid at any cost is literally "working" or "having a job"... there is nothing i despise more. Which kinda contradicts my positive vision in a way i dont rly can attend it. Its horrific.
Most of these videos feel the same, even when the advice changes (which is not often) it somehow still feels like the same video of trying to sell me their new "Be successful now by giving me money/time/views/etc"
Great video and some nice tips! This is a scary time for new investors but the best thing you can do is not to make decisions based on emotions. This could actually be a good time to buy more of your high conviction stocks or crypto on a discount. Wealth is created during bear markets, not bull markets. If your portfolio is really effecting your mental health then delete the app and go for a walk. Let the market do its thing and have a long time horizon. Surprisingly true...i practised for many years dismissing people insignificant to me. Thanks for the clear messages sent to people, excellent lessons for life.

She helped raise over $580,000 in 18 months from an initially stagnant portfolio of $150,000
Interesting! can u share more details?

"Accept that every moment whether good or bad was for only for a little while."
So many of us procrastinate thinking of going back to the past moments and reliving it one day as a hero that we never were.
Its like that poem that goes
No matter where my mind is,
My heart is at home,
My childhood burried there,
Longing for the old days to comeback.
motivation is weakness, you need to grab your discipline, have a nice new year bros.
@@rail7646 100%, motivation is temporary, discipline is unending
The easiest is a routine that forces you to do the right thing. Nothing is stronger than that.
You can not move what is not in your control. No one has control of life.
@@D9xAbstract wrote, _"You can not move what is not in your control. No one has control of life."_
One thing I've noticed about online comments is that many of them will focus on a word, but do so _outside of the context_ in which the word was originally used.
Look for why this is true, rather than for why this is false, and you will find what you seek.
this was so refreshing. law of attraction gurus and enthusiasts are gonna hate this but i so agree with you and have neen gaslighting myself to “stay positive” or else i’ll “attract” what i don’t want.

i dont really think so because some studies say that the subconcious mind dont give a consideration to negation he accept every affirmation without considering negation
- Use negative energy to motivate yourself and get the energy to do what you need to do. Write the antivision. Write what you don't want your life to be.
- Laser in on one goal for the future
- Plan and strategies on your day to day bases, week by week, year
- Disappear and get work done
PS: this is just a summary for me in case I want to look back. Please don't reply to this comment. Thanks!

Dan just described my last year and a half. The negative of covid (and the reaction to covid) fueled my work.
Reality can often be dissap
Fun balance to strike. You know you best, and even if you slip... self reflection and time
I’ve done full on monk mode and I can definitely say you need to take it easy on yourself sometimes. Maybe schedule one or two hours a day where you just look at memes and play video games - you’ll still make a ton of progress as long as you’re consistent with your goals.

The disappearing is something I did years ago. Cut everyone out of my life. I don't socialise at all and I feel free to focus on my goals. Physical discipline leads to mental discipline. My diet keeps me in shape and I suspect is where everyone watching this video should start.

I’m a 16yr old Indian girl
Appearing for JEE mains2023
One of the most toughest exams in the world
I’ve always been a trooper till 10th grade
But once this COVID era has started my mind is always on things which shdnt be.
I started fangirling bts in 10th grade but in 11th grade i entered a totally toxic and overly possessive phase
I’m in 12th rn with my 12th board exams starting from 24th February
And 24th January I’ve got my JEE exam
I come from a middle class family
My father paid a total of 100k for my coaching fee for engineering
Before I realised I wasted complete 2yrs of my life and most importantly the career which was aligned just for me
When ever I wrote exams I was always determined to top that exam but now I just want pass marks
I am disgusted on myself
We’ve got 2 attempts for JEE mains
I promise starting from very now I’ll bring the fire back
I’ll return to you guys in may 2023
Wish me luck guys
hey i am also appearing in jee 2023, and for boards. and i have the same condition and downfall as you, best of luck.
I can't stress enough how much I appreciate you using certain words for their underlying connotations, and the psychological effects they leave, for example, "Mad Scientist, "Project of Life", and many more, putting in this much effort deserves appreciation, thanks a lot!
@@luyandalungani6437 Definitely. You first learn about the basics in many different areas, then when you have what you need, you stop consuming and really start doing
"If you do not create order for your life, you will decline into chaos" , you are so Wise. I sent my son this video so he can learn a thing or two. Thanks!!
I totally agree!! Thanks for sharing this!!
What do you mean by mole hill
Hey, dan I'm from India🇮🇳. My dad died when I was 17. Since then I'm struggling to stable in my road. This is the kind of conversation I like to do with my dad. So thank you for laying out the 👣 👣 path.

Some people are stillignorant of profitability in digital assets which have been one of the major issues limiting growth.
Yes very absolute but you know this are really tough time especially for the conditions at which these assets have settled
I’ve got interest in digital trading and also intending to make my way with it on instagram.

I've got interest in investing but I'm afraid of doing it on mv own to avoid losses. Thanks for the amazing recommendation it will help a lot

You are so right. Even just picking a few specific goals for my health has made me double down on fitness. 58, diabetic, I don’t want to die soon, so I have to be healthy for 30 more years minimum.
Fucking love that man
@@DanKoeTalks if you believe in kismet, my Chinese fortune last night was "Streamline your life." Immediate goals are studying to pass the PMP certification and a focus on the future course. My BHAG for fitness this year is to finish the Spartan Sprint I'm entered in. Love your channel BTW
Weight training is very fun and I know personally I hate running. Also MMA is very cardio intensive and will make you burn a crazy amount of calories. These two ideas are both alternatives to cardio if you dread it like me. You can even do both if you want.
I love that word, how curious one word can be transformative and powerful
## Lessons
- Become aware of the things that you don’t want
1. Not to be unhealthy and unathletic anymore
2. To not waste time anymore
3. Not be a part of the common mass
4. Lack of money to ever be a problem in my life
- It’s easier to know what you don’t want than to know what you want just from mindless imagination
1. Not be part of a monotonous cycle ( whether a 9 to 5 pvt. job or a gov. job)
2. Not to be fat anymore (short term).
3. Not to be academically poor.
4. Have general awareness.
- Do not be a victim of entropy
1. Do not let the entropy take control of your life. Plan your days and weeks ahead of time.
2. Become aware of the things that are holding you back. May it be people, apps etc.. (roaming around the campus aimlessly ) , ( using reddit all day) , (completing syllabus at the last day)
3. You need energy to prevent entropy ( especially mental energy) to actualize or manifest that vision
- Disappear
1. Disappear from unnecessary things
2. Stay from from bad influence
3. Stay away from bad habits.
4. In short pull the band aid off. Just do it ✔.
- Prioritizing long term success and mastery is the origin story
1. Go to the Gym daily
2. Spend at least 2 hrs. in the library.
3. Read newspaper (editorials) daily.
This is exactly how life works! Thank you, Dan for sharing this precious vision! 🙏
Yes, I love these shorter videos. Please keep them coming. 🔥🔥
I love it and remember feeling the same way when watching others on youtube (Abdullah Zeinab being one, unfortunate he left UA-cam)

What is a gangster goddess?
Very good video
A mix of short and long forms of content is always good. Your short minimalist philosophical animations are gold. 👍👍👍
Dude loved it ! Took down notes and ready to go into action
Yes, definitely pepper in some 10min videos alongside your regular posting, it’s a good way for a new person to get into your content. Your ways of teaching need to reach as many ppl as possible! Such a treasure
I'm 17 years old, I'm turning 18 in march I'm already ahead of time because most my age or even older doesn't think like me I'm grateful to stumble upon DAN KOE content I'm consuming every detail 24/7 of his content to get ahead of people in life cause I just have that burning desire to become financial free & to become to first multi-millionaire in my family. Thanks DAN KOE & everyone who read my comment if DAN KOE could do it you could do it also.😁👍
A simple suggestion. Along with consuming do produce too. When you consume too much you get overwhelmed by ideas and your inaction makes you useless. So do take action today, don't think about tomorrow. It starts now. Good luck 👍

This is the first video that I'm watching from your channel and I can already tell how much value am I going to get out of these lessons you are sharing. So grateful that I found your channel. Immediately liked and subscribed. Keep up the good work!!
00:00 🤔 To get ahead of 99% of people in 6-12 months, become aware of what you don't want and where mindless action leads.
01:29 😡 Create an "anti-vision" by listing everything you don't want in life, then use that to define your vision.
03:28 📝 Plan out your daily and weekly actions to prevent entropy and maintain order in your life.
05:23 🔄 Master the "boring fundamentals" as successful people take repetitive actions daily to achieve long-term goals.
07:20 ⏳ Understand that building a successful life is a lifetime journey, so prioritize long-term success and mastery.

If I tell you the truth, i feel like someone is saying my things in his own voice, whereas the thoughts and words are mine.

Words are short, i just used to read your community posts earlier, just now gone through some of the recent and this one video.....
Amazing work 💖🥰 keep it up!
They would never believe me. Someone even once said, "Where did you train?" I said "UA-cam" and again they didn't believe me. So now I say I studied in France with the great Yusef Tubay.
Lol! Crazy that most people think that way
Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
@Jamie Janny Exactly ! That's my major concern and what kind of profitable business or investment can someone do with the current rise in economic downturn

Although I have interests in global economics I don't watch the news anymore... I have enough FUD lol. Thanks for this news and offering your insight on how to navigate during unfortunate times/events like this. You're right about keeping level headed when investing so that's why I think it's important to limit the amount of FUD we consume. I don't watch the media but the news that you present has enough to know issues going on without riding the emotional rollercoaster if I were to watch the news everyday. Now I buy and just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 23` btc from day trading with *VRITKN300* Signal in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish.,,,
That reminded me of the Tim Ferriss's mental exercise of the "fat Man in the lambo".
Presently, throwing spaghetti on the wall and seeing what sticks is taking over my mindset so I'm going with the flow. Interestingly this short from Christmas 2023 appeared in my feed while I'm launching Christmas in August 2024. Love the algo.
Thank goodness you brought this up! Man this resonated with me. I remember back when I was learning how to code. It was the only thing I did day in, and day out thinking that this should not fail. My only motivation was that I don't want to be poor lol. To this day I can't bring myself to put in as much work as I did during that time. My biggest wish in life. Unironically. And im not some edgy teenager. Im a 30+ year old adult is:
Being jobless at home and playing videogames the whole day.
Period.
People constantly tell me "No thats not what u really want" "No thats just running from reality" "Thats just a substitute for doing something meaningfull, which is what you really want"
How do you know? Literally... how do you know? Can you read my mind?
Im HAPPY in this. Yes. I know you cant rly believe it... but this fullfills me. It makes me truly happy. And its not that i dont know "the other side". Im from a very rich household in one of the richest countries on earth. And while i have to admit... i really really enjoy traveling to japan and being a weeb (annoying anime-fan) there. Its literally the only thing in life, next to anime-figurines... which i need money for.
I dont enjoy:
Friends
Relationships
Working
Being "successfull" in a way normies define it
I do enjoy:
Enjoying all those big awesome new JRPGs
Enjoying all those big awesome new tv shows and animes/mangas
Doing these while everyone else is (from my pov) "wasting" their life by doing some wagie jobs until they come home tired at evening and watching netflix
Going to Gym daily and workout (i truly enjoy this tho)
Yes. I love being alone and doing what i want the whole day while everyone else is waiting for weekend
And yes... even if you give me billions, even if i would had endless money, a private jet, cars, alot of good friends and waking up tomorrow with 4 girls naked next to me.... i would go insantly back to my NEET-Life. I would kick out any other person out of my villa, the friends, the girls... and do big gaming rooms for myself, rooms full of anime figurines etc. And then... i would just continue playing videogames the whole day. (alltho, i WOULD go 3 months to japan every year with that amount of money, but this is basically rooted on the very same interessts (Games and Animes))
So this is not "because i lack options" or "im too tired to do effort"... this is WHAT I WANT. My ENDGOAL of life. And im extremly happy with it
However.....
The country i live in is kinda a double-edged sword for this. It DOES pay well, even if your unemployed. But everything is time-limited and full of control when it comes to gettin wellfare-money
So my biggest problem in life is:
I need to become successfull...... to get the money i want..... to drop everything and living unsuccessfull without being bothered...... its dumb. My "anti-vision" i want to avoid at any cost is literally "working" or "having a job"... there is nothing i despise more.
Which kinda contradicts my positive vision in a way i dont rly can attend it. Its horrific.
Discipline and consistency are essential.
Yes yes.. watch another video and suddenly you will be ahead of 99%... im tired of this industry
The problem is there are a lot of misleading advice that is being told and we blindly believe it because the videos are viral, it piss me off.
Investing in alternative income streams that are independent of the government should be the top priority for everyone right now by that way you get ahead of people who live from paycheck to paycheck. especially given the global economic crisis we are currently experiencing.
