0:24 Freaking love this feature!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 It helps a lot to manage my work flow, infinite thanks!!!!
been loving this browser so far on all my device once I heard this also works for linux which is a amazing to have a modern browser on here. One major pet peave i have is that there is no option to open links on the same tab like cmon this is very easy to implement and should be an option and no i dont want to open the tab in the background i want it to open the same tab i was using. This leads to many unnecessary tab usage and clutter which eventully crashes do to so many tabs being open at once. It gets so annoying having to close tabs please add this in thanks and keep up the amazing work
While trying Vivaldi I noticed that in Setting\Privacy and Security\Cookies you cant disable or allow cookies for specific websites. Really bad.
Thanks for the very useful video..
I switched chrome to Vivaldi.
I like your browser very much.
I see what you did with Spotify artist choice there Vivaldi.
Thank you for your kind words! It's great to hear that you noticed and appreciated the reference to Vivaldi.
Hopefully there is an update for tab management on Android coming sooner or later. It's really difficult to orient yourself among dozens of tabs and organize them there.
Excellent. I use Vivaldi on my iMac just for UA-cam and otherwise Safari but may use Vivaldi more. One downside of Safari is it's a performance hog. BTW would love to see the iPad equivalent.
Any way we could do a customized tiled 3 tabs? E.g 2 horizontal on the left and the last one on the right?
Any way we could do a customized tiled 3 tabs? one in vertical and the other 2 in horizontal??
Could you pls add options for the built-in translator? For example to remember selected languages, reverse translator, and show modal while selecting text to translate it?
Can’t wait for my vivaldi on ios
Bem, eu não sei qual a minha senha de acesso, para poder entrar no Fórum e perguntar como eu faço para exportar minhas senhas. A opção está lá, mas não funciona.
there is a bug in windows 11, when u till multiple tabs some start reloading and end up closing the browers, fix it please :c
Can you please how to copy the Vivaldi settings to a new computer (migration)?
This use case is common, but it seems that Vivaldi does not have a built-in tool or workflow that helps the user in the migration (or backup/restore).
What we need is a tutorial that shows how to migrate (export+import) the following:
1. Bookmarks (with an option to place the imported bookmarks in the "Imported" folder, or to replace the entire "bookmarks" folder with it.)
2. Passwords
3. reading list
4. Notes
5. Extensions (along with the settings of all extensions)
6. Themes and customization settings.
Ideally, we should have the "File > Import" menu (to compliment the "File> Export" menu).
But since we do not have that, a tutorial is needed to address this pain point.
Hi! Thanks for the suggestion. That’s a great idea. 😊
@@VivaldiBrowser Thanks!
I also found another method on the net: Copy the Default folder from the user profile path. (The path can be found by entering vivaldi://about command in the address bar.)
But the instructions are complex after this point. Apparently, we can copy the folder and then delete some parts of this copied folder to replicate only some parts of the profile. It would be great to have another video that explains this method in detail!
Hi, I am new to Vivaldi browser. I started using it only recently. Everytime I use open link in new tab, the link opens up in an entirely new private window, how can I make sure that a link opens up in an previously active private window
The only thing missing is the option to colorize a set of tabs like in opera or brave. It's much less confusing than leaving them open.
This browser has been PERFECT or nearly. All that's missing for me so far is a way to have Chat GPT integrated on the side panel easil or maybe that "Group Similar Tabs" like how EDGE has it. That is one feature I do actually adore from Micorosft Edge. Possible the only one lmao.
Hi! Thanks for your feedback. Glad that you're enjoying it. Have you tried adding a website to the side panel by hitting the plus-sign and pasting in the link? 😄
yeah i love ittttt. I dont think it works exactly how I'd like it to (chat gpt) by doing that but it gets close @@VivaldiBrowser
Are you guys working on AI stuff for the browser? Like a good page summarizer for key concepts.
👍👋
Two things I am missing compared to Arc: The ability to maintain pinned tabs in folders and the ability to save splited views as new tabs, so they aren't lost. Give me those features and I happily come over.
i like this browser, but when i just its fell pain in my eye for UI and theme.
Would love for Siide tabs to be added for me thats a must at this point then I'd swith 100% edge is just too bloated
You can select the Tab Bar position in Settings > Tabs, if that's what you're looking for.
Let us know how it goes. 😃
I also noticed that when using Vivaldi, the battery is consumed very quickly, this is not the case with Chrome. I use M1 pro max
and add pls an option to hibernate the inactive tabs pls
Once I use tile tabs it crashes so quickly. I love this browser but if only it didn't crash quickly I'd have loved it completely
Seems like half of these features don't exist on the Windows version. Very frustrating.
There aren't proper layout for tiling tab in vertical monitor setup. It just treat tab tiling as horizontal screen, which is useless for any vertical setup. Please fix it
Sounds interesting, if only Vivaldi would actually run on raspberry pi 5..
Huh, no mention of Vertical Tabs? That's pretty much first or second most useful organisational feature.
how many times has he said tabs now
Here's one more: tabs! 😉
You said"tabs" 310 times in this video! Lol
I guess we did mention "tabs" quite a bit in this video! Thank you for noticing, and for supporting Vivaldi Browser!
Stop saying tab!
