Green Inferno is basically Eli Roth’s remake of Cannibal Holocaust which is still banned in most countries. The actual animal snuff still scars me to this day in that.
This is a pleasant surprise. I was a senior stoned out of my mind with a friend in the theatre watching this. I was outside of myself the entire time but it was a blast haha
I’m really glad you guys are laughing during this reaction. I laughed so much in the theater and kept cracking so many jokes to my best friend, who got me to see this. I was worried somebody around us was going to say something because everyone was dead quiet 😂

I just met Eli Roth at Horror Hound last weekend! Super nice down to earth guy, definitely recommend meeting him if you get the chance. Would love Hostel 1 and 2 reactions. Even if it's not until spooky season. Cabin Fever and Thanksgiving are both a lot of fun too

This is the only movie I'm legit scared when watching and I'm a horror buff.
Check out the movies Would You Rather(2013), As Above So Below(2014), Wrong Turn(2003), Hostel(2005), and The Descent(2005).
I never expected you to watch this haha. So there's a possibility that you would watch the hostel movies? Since they were directed by Eli Roth too.

A favorite of mine from Eli Roth is called Aftershock its pretty good but also do the Hostile movies
Two films along the same lines as this that you must check out are Lost City Of Z and Jungle. Great cast and writing for both, highly recommend!
Would also love to see you both react to The Impossible(all-star cast of Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor, and a young Tom Holland) as well as No Escape(Owen Wilson, Pierce Brosnan and Lake Bell). Both super suspenseful films that take you on a ride!

2022's "Hellraiser" would be an amazing reaction. Something gory, good soundtrack, incredible costumes. A really good body horror film.
Surprised with this one honestly, but you guys should watch Martyrs (2008). Its one of those extreme french films but its a good watch nonetheless

"The Green Inferno" is Eli Roth's take on the cannibal horror subgenre, and it's meant to be disgusting thanks to its graphic non-CGI makeup effects, which Roth and his team of special effects makeup artists perfectly mastered it right from the get go.
Obviously, it's not my favorite Eli Roth movie because I really prefer "Cabin Fever", "Thanksgiving" and the first two "Hostel" movies. His non-horror movies such as 2018's "Death Wish" and "The House with a Clock in Its Walls" are also worth watching.💯

This movie proves that Eli Roth has a beautiful eye, a creative mind and horrible almost abysmal directoral skills (if all his other films aside from Hostel didn't prove that already)

I enjoyed Bone Tomahawk, but it is a very slow burn... not sure the payoff is worth the journey to get there.
Thats fair but I did think the acting in BT was really good. Granted that one had legitimate actors in it.

Movie reminds me of YellowJackets, which is a show about a soccer team who gets stranded in the wilderness from their plane crashing, and they end going cannibalistic, but it's a really entertaining show.

@Theeplayboi When you know it's all fake, yeah, it becomes less gross. I remember going to see It: Chapter 2, and I was like 14, but then I watched a video, and I found out pennywises ancient enemy is a Turtle, so it made me less scared, lol.
