I’m going to be starting college really soon and would love to see a vegans’ guide to college cooking! Is this something you think you would be able to share? This vid was amazing btw ☀️
Check out Mina Rome, she gas a lot of student friendly vegan recipes.
*has...
Yes I agree ☝️. Mina Rome is so good I love making her recipes, I’m currently in uni too (3rd year) hbu?
Top Ramen soy sauce flavor. JK. Well, not really jk.
@@dd-ms9iq I will thank you so much!
Aww baby Nisha with her mom in Indian dresses at the beginning. So cute. I want to see more pics!
Haha I have a huge childhood photo album sitting on my coffee table!
Nisha: We don't have time to spare, make this quick!
Also Nisha: I'm a mime 🖐️👁️👄👁️✋
^^
I'm a meat eater but I have been thinking about the future of meat and how unsustainable it is. I love these simple recipes to try. You make such attractive food. I love the flavor bombs you have introduced me to!
Cheap Lazy Vegan has some simple yummy recipes, and Pick Up Limes has some phenomenal recipes too. In case you wanted even more.
You can always just swap out a few meals a week for vegan alternatives! That way you are still helping without giving up ALL meat
Not only unsustainable but immoral as well.
Processed meat is classified as a group 1 carcinogen as well.
There are over 300K different plants to choose from. Animals feel pain and fear, and we treat them terribly. Why not support farmers markets and start with one meal replacement a day to step towards a plant based diet? Go slow and be mindful - read food labels, consider where products come from and if they are ethically sourced. We've done a terrible job taking care of the planet the past 50 years, and we need to make better choices! Good luck!!
Still the best vegan channel on youtube. Best place to for tasty, healthy food. From a non-vegan fan.
I'm flattered you think so, John! Cheers!
Go vegan :3
Gotta agree Indians make the best vegan food and Nisha has taken this to western pallet.. 👏
I've only *SO FAR* made the tofu with slaw recipe, but it is incredibly delicious and easy. This is one of the first '20 minute recipes' I've used that actually ended up being about 20 minutes. Can't wait to make the other two!
That’s so great to hear! I’m so happy you loved it!
I've just made the chickpea taco's and I strongly suggest you do the same!! They were SO delicious! I did make my own tortillas, so it took longer than 20 minutes. Also swapped the cilantro for parsley and added some pickled onions on top. I'm definitely trying the other ones as well. :)
I made a big double batch of your lentil curry last night, probably the 10th time I've made it, and every time I'm blown away by how delicious it is. Both my husband and I think it's the best curry we've ever had, and we've eaten a lot of curry! Those chickpea tacos look amazing, can't wait to try!
I make it weekly, double batches, and everyone in my household loves it. It's just too yummy. And easy to make too, which is always nice.
@@margjeweijdt1510 I always bag up a couple servings for my auntie too who lives alone, she loves it too! LOL
Could you find me the link of where the recipe is?
@@RillaG That's so sweet!
Me and my bae make it all the time too we're obsessed!!! ❤
I enjoy your videos so much! I’ve been feeling unmotivated to cook lately and this has inspired me to try all 3 of these! Thank you for doing what you’re meant to do and sharing it with us 😊
I love how everytime is from one place and it's an affordable place. Makes me feel confident that I can shop and make these meals!!❤❤
I was glad I had watched this earlier when we came home from church and we hadn't planned a meal. My husband and I made the green bean and pasta dish and it was DELICIOUS! I will have to try the others. Thanks for sharing these quick and easy to make recipes!
I’ve made the spicy chickpea tacos recipe twice now. And I am obsessed. It is absolutely delicious! I’m so happy that I found this recipe.
Made the tofu - the cilantro and peanut dressing were super! My Vegan son loved it and so did my “Eat Anything” hubby. Thank you so much! I am having much success with your recipes. The Mushroom Stroganoff, banana bread, oat bars… all great!
Idk why I never thought to crisp chickpeas in the cast iron! Feel like I'm slowly learning to cook better through watching your videos.
that's so nice to hear you're getting more confident in the kitchen!
if you prefer you can also roast them in the oven. If you use bakeing paper you dont need to add any oil
@@sirih9012 this is how i usually do it.
I love that you have both cheap, quick recipes and more complex ones.
Love how you let your personality show during your videos. Making my way through some of your recipes, love them. Thank you x
Thank you for all these great ideas! Since I discovered your channel and Instagram, my new way of eating vegan and adapting to better eating just got even better. Looking forward to more inspirations. Thanks again.
This was a breath of fresh air !!!
I love cooking your meals and recipes? But on days when it’s been a super long day and you just want to cook something tasty and healthy quick these meals are just perfect 👌
Please can we have some more simple recipes like these 😃😃😃😃
I’m eating your red lentil curry right now. I freeze leftovers and just warm up when needed, all i need to make is the rice! Plus, I always have a couple small containers with the spice mixture pre-made. Such a time saver!
I'm a vegan newbie and I just made my first meal (CRISP TOFU SALAD), it was delicious! I'd tweaked out the sauce a bit by using 3 tsp of PBFIT and a tsp of natural peanut butter to watch my sugars. THIS MEAL IS A DEFINITE REPEAT FOR ME!
Thank you so muchhhhhh, these are so helpful! We need more of these!!! I can't wait to try them since I've just started working and I have no time and energy to cook meals for myself
This is my first year as a vegan and I’m so happy that I found you! I eat so much better than I used to and still maintain a high level of good flavor thanks to you!
You posted this right before I made my grocery list for the week- so you know I had to add the ingredients for all three of these recipes. 🤩 Excited to try, and these all seem like a great send off to summer flavors as fall starts to peek around the corner.
I really needed this 😫
I bet I into these ruts where I’m eating the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN. This is so helpful thank you suga 🦋☮️✨
i'm so glad this was helpful for you and hope it'll get you out of that cooking rut!
I made a big double batch of your lentil curry last night, probably the 10th time I've made it, and every time I'm blown away by how delicious it is. Love the unique flavor combinations!
I made the crispy tofu dish yesterday for lunch and it was sooo good! I am excited to try your other recipes too!
I made this with purple cabbage and parsley since I had that on hand and didn't feel like going to the grocery store doing rush hours. Overall, THIS WAS A HUGE HIT. Supper light&refreshing and packed with flavors. DEFINITELY will make again again again and again. 100 out of 100.
Those look so good that I would love to try them for sure when I make these dishes when I have the right ingredients. Great recipe miss, happy Saturday!
Thanks so much, Jade! Hope you’ll get a chance to try them out :) enjoy your weekend!
Can't wait to make the other two! Definitely will be included in our meal rotation.
Love the unique flavor combinations!
All look great. Thank you, Nisha. Hope the cookbook is coming along well!
Love all your videos!! Nothing like getting a giggle with your healthy recipes! Thank you - you always cheer me up!
So far I’ve tried the tofu dish, and chickpea tacos. They were both really good! I wasn’t sure I would like the cilantro pesto, as I don’t love cilantro, but I don’t hate it either. I actually really liked it, and it made the dish! Thank you for these great recipes!
For anyone who needs to avoid oil for health reasons like me... I spray the tofu lightly with liquid aminos or briefly dip into a seasoned liquid of choice, then lightly dust with cornstarch and pop it into the air fryer for 15 minutes or until crispy. The cornstarch helps make the surfaces crispier... it won't be as crispy as fried of course, but still awesome!
can I place them in the oven?! I just don't want to buy an air fryer to have on more appliance on the counter lol but I just might have to.
@@kiaharper7172 You can bake them, but they they won't get the same texture.
I love Aldi and am so glad they sponsored you - I have everything (or know where to get it at my local Aldi) to make these meals! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!!
Thanks for the great ideas. Looks delish. Love how simple they are.
Love all these...thank you Nisha! Please don't ever stop teaching us how to cook with such wonderful texture, flavor and visual beauty...no pressure, =) Love all your wonderful recipes.
Aw Sue! You are so sweet! I appreciate the sweet words!
Thank you! More of this! I’m transitioning my young family to vegan and am having such a hard time. My kids will actually love this one!
So grateful for these recipes. My family needs more quick and healthy meals. They all look delicious can't wait to try them! Thank you!
All three of these look amazing! Thank you for these recipes Nisha!
I’ve tried all three of these and my family loves them. Definitely will be included in our meal rotation.
Love the unique flavor combinations!
I just bought your cookbook and have been trying a new recipe almost everyday! Everything has been sooo delicious!!
I made this tofu and slaw recipe, but used tempeh instead of tofu and it is absolutely delicious! I can see myself eating this all the time! Barely took 20 minutes. So fast and easy!
I made just the tofu with the sauce just now and it was great. Another method for preparing the tofu that's even easier (but takes more time) is to put the pieces in a ziploc bag with a little oil, corn starch, and a little salt, shake the bag up, and bake all the pieces at 400F for 30 minutes
Thank you for this video! As a student, I don't have much time on weeknights and these little recipes are going to help me a lot! :)
Your creative recipes help me keep it fresh in the kitchen, so thank you!
Yay! That’s so fab to hear! Thanks Sandy!
Made the first one. The sauce with the cilantro is something out of this world! Thank you!!
just discovered your channel and I just want to say, awesome recepies and channel!! I don't have much time for cooking so really appreciate this
I feel like that cilantro pesto recipe is going to end up a mainstay in my household. I love cilantro and jalapeños! Thank you! 😊
Just made the chickpea tacos, which were so delicious and flavorful! My mom loved the flavors on the chickpeas, and I'm still shocked at how little time this took and how delicious it was!! 10/10, ANYONE can cook this.
Great new recipes and video intro editing! Can't wait to try these - especially the tofu and pasta. Greetings from Hong Kong!
thank you, Adam! so nice to hear you appreciated it :) Greetings from sunny California!
Both recipes are delicious. I made the salad for lunch and the tacos for dinner. Had some leftover slaw so I added that to the tacos. Was really good. Nice flavors, easy to make. Thanks!
Always a good thing to see a new video from you! And I so appreciate the quick recipes!
Thanks Kathleen! I hope these will come in handy :)
Just discovered your channel, this is my second video & I can't wait to try these three recipes, they all look amazingly tasty. Thanks for sharing your lovely work. 💚
Of all the plant-based cooks I follow, your meals look the most mouth-watering delicious. Seems we like the same kinds of food! Thank you so much!
Looks delicious 👌🏻 Greetings from Scotland 😊 Have a wonderful day everyone 🌻
Love these quick and easy recipes. Sometimes I get tired of the same things over and over...these are good to add to the rotation.😊💞
Definitely! it's always nice to add a new easy recipe to your rotation!
I’m so happy I found your channel. I’m excited to try some of theirs recipes. I def. Think you need your own show. Your so fun to watch and have delish recipes
That looks so good. I can’t wait to make that pasta. Thanks for sharing happy healthy eating.🙏🏽🪴🥗🥒😋
Looks so good!!!!! Thanks a lot for all this great recipes, my family wouldn't have transitioned so well on a vegan diet without all your good recipes 😊
I'm so honored that my recipes have been helping you and your family transition to a vegan diet! thanks for sharing :)
I need to start on your batch- prep budget plan!
More videos with budget menu ideas appreciated. I haven't quite got the hang of balancing yet!❤❤
This is my favourite channel. I especially like it when you explain everything so nicely. I wish you a lot of success with the channel and happy life.
Didn’t even get to the end of the video, and 20 minutes later I was already making the first recipe since I had pretty much all the ingredients! 💕
've only SO FAR made the tofu with slaw recipe, but it is incredibly delicious and easy. This is one of the first '20 minute recipes' I've used that actually ended up being about 20 minutes
Lovely, thank you. I will try all of the recipes.
The lemon garlic pasta has become a staple in my house since you posted this. So delicious and fresh and with simple ingredients. I always add a can of cannellini beans and extra walnuts... Pair with a side of fruit and it's just perfect. Thank you for this recipe.
The white beans are a great pairing! So nice to hear it's a staple for you!
Needed this for my busy life lately ! Love your channel 😊
Nisha is the best. Have tried several recipes and always a depth of flavour. So glad you do this!
I made the cilantro pesto last night for a tofu rice bowl. I didn’t have a jalapeño so I used habanero instead. It was definitely hubby approved!
I really want to try the chickpea tacos tonight.
All of these look amazing!!! I'll certainly try the pasta very soon! Thank you ❤️
Thank you, that looks really delicious, and I love peanut sauce. I can't wait to try it.
I needed a video like this! Thank you so much for the quick inspiration.
Yay, glad it came at the right time!
These chickpea tacos were amazing!!!! A delight for the tastebuds. My hubs is resistant to chick peas, and he was won over. I can't wait to make more of your recipes.
Great recipes! Really simple and innovative! Thanks a ton ❤️
You know it’s a good Saturday when Nisha is posting !
Hi, I am just switching to vegan, I starting Training for a half marathon and saw the documentary the game changers. I cooked today your pasta recipe with the green beans, my wife loved it. I will definitely continue using your recipes. I like to cook as a hobby, so is a plus for me
Just tried the crispy tofu recipe! It was spectacular! 😋
I made the tofu cabbage slaw with almond butter and curried tofu and added some mint. Its perfect, thanks Queen💙
That's awesome to hear! Mint is the perfect addition!
Thank you so much! The chef is comprehensive and quick😊
My four year old son really wants to try tofu, definitely will be making that. Thank To for sharing all these incredible meals
Starchy pasta water has a use! I learn so much from you, thanks! Ps sometimes I try to cut down on my paper towel use by using a silicone brush to spread olive oil in a pan. I have also dedicated some small lightweight white towels to drying veggies. Thanks for the ideas and the humor.
I was today years old when I found out that "slaw" is what in my country would just be called "salad". I always thought it's some kind of special cabbage meal. 😁
What country are you from?
You are simply a master teacher in plant based cooking
I love the way you dance after you taste the tacos. so funny! and you use alot of aldi stuff which i also love! gonna try your recipes
now this is exactly what I need for my meal prep! much appreciated!
You have the most delicious recipes. I've made 2 of the 3 recipes in this video so far and loved them. I also chopped up beets, kale and broccoli and added that to my lemon oil pasta & green beans recipe (as toppings), and then I poured some of your recipe instant pot cauliflower soup over it. I've never loved so many recipes from one chef before!
Thank you so much for your sweet words and I’m so happy you’re enjoying my recipes! I love that you added so many veggies to the pasta!
This was fantastic, thank you so much! Love the first one, it's a bit like gado gado!
I made the pasta today and it is super delicious
Thank you so much ♥️
Fantastic , so full of life . I own the same lemon squezer thing and I love it. Sturdy and quick and easy to clean. I think I will make the pasta on Monday. Not the tacos, no not on a Monday in rainy Germany 😁🌈
I think know what I'm gonna make tomorrow... these look absolutely perfect and worth it!!!!
Such simple meals and they all look so good! I'm sure they're delicious! Very soon I'll be trying them.
Btw, I just subscribed. Thank you and God bless 🙏 ❤
I found your channel recently and I want to become vegan for my health and for the planet. I am so grateful. I just did the taco recipe and it is so delicious. The secret is definitely in the balance of spices which creates magic in your recipes. Thank you❤🎉
I just tried the lemon green bean pasta - absolutely incredible!! The punch of the flavors was amazing!! I was worried there would be too much garlic or lemon, but it all balanced out just right. Even my sister liked it, and she normally hates anything vegan. 10/10, would HIGHLY recommend to people of all cooking levels!
Great to hear! Thanks Alex, I can’t wait to try it. I really enjoy Nisha’s recipes
Yum-eeee. Few little suggestions that I learned from your fellow vlogers. Soak cashews in some water for at least few hours or overnight before blending for sauces. Also when oiling frying pan use silicone brush to limit oil waste. Fresh garlic , herbs, ginger, green onions and fresh citrus brings so much flavor just the way you said it. Happy cooking 🥰
omg, idk if nisha will see this but i think i am following you since you had published your instant pot cookbook, made daal tadka and omg!! I never noticed your subs until now, huge congratulations.. seeing you grow since 50k i think haha.. love you ☀️☀️
Ok. The tacos are EVERYTHING!! I’ve made them the past 2 days! Thank you for this recipe.
Looks so good! I love the recipes. For me the crispy tofu looks wonderful and tasty! :)
Made the tacos and they were great! I substituted cilantro with parsley because I'm one of those cilantro soapy boys though, still works!
Taco holder (laughs in Mexican 😆) I love all your recipes Nisha! The pasta looks lovely 🤤
I come straight to you whenever I need some food-spiration. These look yum!
god i love this channel. definitely gonna try these out. u should do more quick and easy yet tasty recipes like these!
They all look yummy. May have to try the first one without tofu. And the pasta with green beans. 😁☺️ I've also seen people use a hand held veggie peeler to slice cabbage. 😁
