Great chef. Loves his way of cooking and his straight talking.. However gazpacho in its original stage does not include basil....I am sure it adds a nice twist though. One tip for lighter version. I guess I if I lived outside in the cold instead of a heated house I wouldn’t like cold soup in the winter! But I eat gazpacho all year. I make a huge pitcher of it let it get really cold and then I can drink it throughout the day or for a meal! And I freeze individual portions of it. It freezes really well. After all, I eat hot food in the summertime! Although I will try letting it marinade like he did to increase the flavors. I’ve never done that before, but it makes sense!
lol my kids put me through this for time. In the long run, they will probably return to meat (if they haven't already) but with it will come an entirely new and nutritious skill set. Vegan food is beautiful and usually the first to go at potlucks. Next might be limiting all the added sugars.
The Vegan Teacher needs to react to both some certified dietician counseling about the necessity of sufficient protein consumption from meat, and perhaps some pastoral instruction regarding what the authoritative Word of God has to say about the consumption of meat. It is allowed with God's blessing with suggested limitations for your health, but not with His condemnation of your eternal soul if you stray. There are abundant scriptures about eating lamb and fish.
@@ginadisbrow9324 Even though I occasionally enjoy meat and dairy, it is a really outdated view that you can't get sufficient protein (ever heard of e.g. pulses?) and other micros/macros. The hardest part might be vitamin B12, vitamin D, and long-chain omega-3s, which might even be lacking in many normal diets and can always be supplemented. And as a second point, noone gives a shit about what "God" says about food. An old book of fairy tales is not valid argument about a healthy and sustainable diet, especially since it was written 2000 years ago, in times where food was a lot rarer than today and animal products often were necessary to just survive. With the luxury and knowledge we have today, we are able to make much more informed, healthy and sustainable decisions. And I hope that you'll be able to maybe open your mind just a little bit aswell :)
@@ZwergDesign For you to make a blanket statement that "no one gives a shit" about essentially what God has to say about nutrition is false. Your statement is clearly an affirmation that you are an atheist. For that declaration I am very sorry. I would be very happy to pm a dialog in fervent hope to dissuade you from a certain path of afterlife judgement to eternal hell and damnation.
@@ginadisbrow9324 Sad, that this is your main takeaway from my comment. I was raised in a very religious family and am therefore sick of people justifying their harmful behaviour and attidude with religion. And I couldn't care less about made up horror stories, I care much more about the actual problems laying ahead of us. You see, if you actually care about "loving your neighbour" like religion tells you, you should also care about this place not going to shit. You should care about horryfing factory farming and people suffering and dying in the climate wars to come.
It’s perfect, I love Gordon’s ideas for cooking. Made today for my family the lentil salad following the recipe, it’s great and super tasty meal that you can also take to work for lunch.
Gordon still hasn't explained to me why 'marinating' the gazpacho would be better than just instantly blending it and then letting it sit overnight. Surely the ingredients can 'marinate' even better after blending.
Because he is a professional chef and has to justify his work with useless extra steps. Nobody in Spain does it. And nobody in Spain eats gazpacho in winter...

Apart from this, a professional chef such as him should know the ingredients he works with, and should know honey isn't vegan... It was quite disappointing to see that even his so called 'vegan' video wasn't even vegan :(
I think there's potential in this, so keep working hard for more diversity in your cooking!
PS: The final shot of the animal meat being sliced is downright distasteful and has no place in a vegan video.
An accomplished chef like Gordon can’t come up with anything better than chopped fruit for pudding? It’s winter for goodness sake! I got so bored, I can think of better things to do than watch someone chop fruit 😄
I didn't expect much of a vegan recipe coming from gordon ramsay and was right to do so
The way he squeezed that roasted garlic looks as if he was popping a pimple
Wow, this is so nice to see Gordon making vegan food. This is very very much appreciated. Thank you!
Gordon: “Let’s start off nice & slowly.”
Me: 😳 😳 😳
You are for sure, the best cooker in the world !

Are these vegan or vegetarian recipes? Is honey vegan? (7:20)
Really appreciate these vegetarian options. Thank you so much. ♥️✌🏼
* FYI: Not many vegans would agree with this title because of the use of honey.
maple syrup still exists
I love vegetable base dishes, not as vegan food but as food. And as someone who love to cook, it's important to me to learn how to cook something that make person who eat feels happy and satisfy.
Honey's not vegan! Wow.
So, gazpacho soup is blended salad. I think I'd have had it as a salad.
Great chef. Loves his way of cooking and his straight talking.. However gazpacho in its original stage does not include basil....I am sure it adds a nice twist though. One tip for lighter version. Add some water instead of too much oil to make it lighter and add a pinch of red paprika if the tomatoes are a bit tasteless (which happens too often these days...). Thanks chef!!
The way he cut the pineapple just got me 😂😂
Been enjoying Veganuary a lot. We’re definitely going to keep up with eating less Meat
Good on you! You’re doing a great service to the animals, our Earth and your health! 😄
This recipe is amazing! I lose the count how many times I've seen this video. OMG those green beans and the pineapple dessert looks AMAAZIING. 😍🤤 I love it. Such a Chef talent ❤
Apart from the honey, delicious looking plantbased dishes 🙌🏼♥️
Nice ideas - but pretty unsustainable recipes for the UK in January Gordon!
Thanks for all the subscribers !!
Love you all. More videos on its way.
Wowww! They all look amazing ( except the fact that honey is not vegan ) ! A professional touch is impressive, thanks! We dont eat only fresh, saladish food though, so maybe for the future videos "guilty pleasure vegan foods" could be an idea ;-)
the mustard vinaigrette mellow roast garlic green beans looks so delicious
yes, it sure does. Gonna try making it tonight.
How is a gazpacho in season in January?
Hearing him use words like beautiful, extraordinary and stunning when referring to the food/or ingredients makes me feel all fuzzy inside. Damn I 💕 Food....
I had my first Gazpacho Soup 20 years ago at an awesome Mexican Food Restaurant.
It had a thin layer of ice on top and was absolute delicious. Nothing like Gordon made?
Those dishes look fantastic! Specially the Gazpacho🤌
Omg Gordon... can I just come to dinner ONE TIME? 😛❤ I can watch you cook all day long. Much Love and Appreciation from CT, USA
That vegan teacher must be happy...
When you plate every recipe it brings smile to every face. It's just WOW :)
Omg. This is so beautiful. Thanks for including food for the vegans. ❤️
The vegan teacher is proud watching this rn
The Gazpacho looks brilliant
Hands down Gordon Ramsay is the best chef ever! I wish I could taste something that he has made. Oh my that would be heavenly!
Hello Lisa how’re you doing?
FR I would eat that food so quickly! It would taste so heavenly
@@glossiangelz Of course it will definitely taste delicious and where you from? Yea
I think most vegans don't have honey. Other than that great video.
The last time I checked, Gazpacho was a nice fiery red and not baby-poop brown. Just saying 😂
Waah...
Finally Gordon Ramsay make a vegan food...
😃😃
lol my kids put me through this for time. In the long run, they will probably return to meat (if they haven't already) but with it will come an entirely new and nutritious skill set. Vegan food is beautiful and usually the first to go at potlucks. Next might be limiting all the added sugars.
The Vegan Teacher needs to react to this, so that she will regret ever messing with Gordon.
@@ginadisbrow9324 so is slavery
Thank you for the vegan recipes!! They look so simple and delicious. I'm definelty going to make them once the weather gets warmer!
It’s perfect, I love Gordon’s ideas for cooking. Made today for my family the lentil salad following the recipe, it’s great and super tasty meal that you can also take to work for lunch.
Hello, how’re you doing happy new year I hope you had a beautiful festival period with tasty recipes?
I was thinking about making the lentil recipe for lunch after I saw it! Good to hear.
@@candyDander good to hear indeed candy 🍭
Gordon still hasn't explained to me why 'marinating' the gazpacho would be better than just instantly blending it and then letting it sit overnight. Surely the ingredients can 'marinate' even better after blending.
@saeyoungyi you sound like my bio teacher and I luv it
Because he is a professional chef and has to justify his work with useless extra steps. Nobody in Spain does it. And nobody in Spain eats gazpacho in winter...
@saeyoungyi Simply no. Nobody does it because it doesn't add anything to the final result. He is just being extra for the sake of it
this guy is a decent cook he should make a career out of it
He already has he’s literally one of the most famous chefs
@@glossiangelz no way
Thank you so much Sir Gordon for this super healthy, delicious, colorful mixture of vegetables recepi.
It’s really the right recepi for this Covid Time. Merci Beaucoup et bonne appétit.🙏🥰😊😘
I don’t know what kind of sorcery magics you’re using but sir, my knives don’t do that no matter how hard I try
Very surprised to see this video on Gordon's channel.
This is my second vegan Gordon video and I see he thinks vegan and healthy together. I’m sure he knows about vegan comfort and junk food though. I would most def enjoy these but I’d be hungry 30min to an hour after.
Where's the Gordon who secretly fed pepperoni to a Vegan, where has he gone..
to the shadow realm jimbo..
glad he behaves like a responsible adult now and not like an asshole that jokes about animal abuse.
My senses were ignited at the Panzanella stage...one of my favourite summer meals..produce fresh from the garden.

Hello Sheila how’re you doing, hope you’re okay and having lovely recipes happy new year.
Honey is not vegan FYI but can easily be substituted for agave, maple syrup, or molasses depending on the dish. Thank you for these delicious ideas!
I'm not vegan by any means but I LOVE fresh veggie dishes and these are exciting to me! I think the green bean salad he made that look and sound far better than it's name was my fave 😋
I'm just waiting for ThatVeganTeacher jokes in the comments😁
That vegar teacher be like:
Good :)
I love how his “vegan recipes” video ends with footage of him slicing a beef Wellington. 😂
I could just imagine the vegans horrified at that last bit. 😱
why would they be horrified?
Im pretty sure thats his outro for most videos isn't it.
MORE VE-GAN cooking shows please.
(No double 'e' in the word Ve-gan).
Thank you Mr Ramsay.🌞🥑🥕🌽🌶🥒🥦🍄
So interesting to read that people surprised that we vegans eat good food 😂
Hahahahah...
7:17 I hate to be that person but honey is not vegan, so if you were trying to do Veganuary you should replace honey with a plant based sweetener like agave syrup for example!
What’s cookin good lookin ;)
where are you getting tomatoes that taste good in January? There is no way I would make gazpacho in the winter. So many other recipes he could use!
