I love Singh but if they kept Muclair I think they could have finally won if even only a minority government.
Mulcair lost '15 for the NDP. His centrist "third way" turn meant that the dippers got outflanked by the Liberals on the left. As for Singh, he managed to turn his image around during the campaign. How he operates during this minority parliament will decide whether he will stay on after the next election.
@@strawberry7799a to be clear, Muclair was actually in the lead at one point and lead the NDP to second best result in thier history. Yes it's true that Trudeau lied about left of center policies and the corporate media lapped it up but he wouldn't be able to run on great hair in 2019 and Muclair would have wiped the floor with both Trudeau and Scheer. Singh is an amazing leader but unfortunately many Canadians are sorta racist. I just want someone other than the usual two corrupt parties to win.
@@Sam19509 I hope he never gets another majority and I hope the ndp can push the liberals to the left just like they have in the past or the country isn't going to get any major left policies at all which is sad b/c a majority of people voted for lefty parties.
