    I also have the black one on my Mini 2. It's a completely different drone with the propellers on it. I have been using master airscrew for 4 years now and they have never disappointed me. On my Air 2S I am the black, orange and blue. I can only say to others, buy them, they are safe.

    I purchased two sets (just in case I crash and break just one propeller and would have to put all the old ones back on) and did notice they are quieter. I had watched another fellow on youtube install his and he reused the original screws so like an old fool I did the same. They did not spin as freely and when I tested them today I received a warning that an extra payload was detected. I took them off and used the screws Master AirScrew included with the props and they spin freely. I couldn't tell if they are longer screws as I'm old and they are so tiny, but they made a big difference in how freely they spin. Will test them again tomorrow. Thanks for all your videos - I really enjoy them.

    I have them on my Mavic Air 1st Gen , Air 2S and Mini 2. Definitely change the pitch for sure. The perform well at high altitudes as well. I flew all last week on vacation in the Colorado mountains with the highest elevation being over 9300 ft. They performed as well as the factory props or better. Oh! Mine had a bit of locktite on the new screws when I changed them out. Great video!

    I think you missed the point, and a MASSIVE point at that. Yep its quieter. But the big thing here you missed even though you pointed it out is this. You flew out over water, Lets just say your battery is dieing, I reckon one minute could possibly be going on speed 100yards, MASSIVE difference of getting you drone back or going into the sea/Lake/river. That alone is worth buying the blades the rest is a bonus . I bought the ORANGE ones after looking up the best props for the mini. Everybody came back with the same answer Master Airscrew. Just one thought though if this did as I mean the Mini2 and it crashed nothing to do with the blades would DJI CARE FRESH renege on the grounds of their blades was not in use? Just a thought. Thanks for sharing Ray K UK YNWA.

    Even the flymore kit comes with some of the pre-dried blue loctite on the 3 replacement screws included in each bag of 2 props. Personally had an idiot move landing on a table with slotted holes and it didn't like that, landed freaked out on the skip backwards shot up and I killed it. Anyway, if they come with loctite already on them, it's 10000% worth the 6-7 bucks at the hardware store to get a fresh bottle, scrub the old off and make sure there is actual thread contact on curing with a liquid application (not too much, you really don't need as much as you think)

    Mike, I bought a set about a month ago. The pitch difference is the biggest advantage. No real difference in loudness or flight time. It might be a little quicker to top speed and a little more stable in wind, but the speed is limited by the drone firmware. I just ordered a newly introduced yellow set.

      Might get a yellow set for my MA2. They look sharp, and would stand out with the Flame skin I have on it. Love the Air 2, just not a huge fan of DJI's putty grey theme. Considered painting one of my DJI quads, but disassembly is a pain, and paint scratches off too easily. Vinyl Skins are the way to go.

    The issue I had with them is getting errors with a few sets. Had to break out a jewelers scale and found the issue. Easily solved with sand paper.
    On your bird problem: One day I watched birds going after each other and they 99% of the time were snipping at tail feathers. I the got some cheap party paper ribbon from the dollar store and taped about a 1" wide x 4 feet long from the bottom. Walla, they would snip the ends and left the drone alone.

    I went for the black color too. For 2-3 early flights, the movement of the props was kinda stiff. But then it's performed great! Oh ya, already asked The DJI service center in my country. They said if the drone happens to crash when using a 3rd party propeller, it will automatically void the warranty. I don't know about other country's terms by DJI's. Anyway, very nice videos. Thanks!

    • @BlairAir
      @BlairAir 2 роки тому +3

    I recently received two sets for my Air 2S being orange and black. Your video prompted me to do a test this afternoon in my house out of interest, for this I downloaded Sound Meter to my Android phone to get a decibel reading......this is on the ground only at this stage. I was very surprised by the results to the contrary; my originals (and DJI in Melbourne say they are the quietest) hovered between 65 and 68 decibels so I will call it at 66 while my new organge set I have called in at 73 decibels so that result are not a win for them. I recently ordered these propellers with the expectation that they would be quieter and more efficient than the stock DJI propellers. Sadly, this was not the case. During tests, the propellers were .4db(ground/idle) and .5db(flight) louder than the stock propellers. These propellers actually caused me to use roughly 6% more battery and required 4 more amps than the stock propellers when flying the same route and altitude on a windless day.
    Regardless of the technical results of my test, the propellers were very stiff upon attaching them to the drone. This did not allow the propellers to move freely at all.
    However, I did get a full refund with no questions asked.

    • @dronetojoy6141
      @dronetojoy6141 2 роки тому

      I could hear my MA when the drone hovered above me even at 80m/ 240ft or came to approach for landing already about 50m+/150ft+ from the side in outside tests. Same as my oems.
      Bottom line if you can hear it, so can everyone else. As one lady came up to me when testing in a park, sounds like a swarm of bees.
      I think anything that reduces noise should literally do more than 50% reduction, whatever the pitch. There are manufactures getting there now.
      2% is hardly a margin for anything if you expect noise reduction right?
