And it won't be syndicated til around 2050 due to the music, so I recommend picking up the series from someone reputable like Walmart. A lot of copies are just that.
At 6:54 the late great Improv Comedy Expert Hamilton Camp delivers The WKRP equivalent of a Rowdy Roddy Piper Pro Wrestling Heel Promo! Remember Mr. and Mrs. Penbrook the retired Fictional Pro Wrestlers who appeared in the first season.🤔😂🤣📺🎼🎸🎹🥁🎷🤷♂️🤼♂️🤼♀️B.W.
1:35 That was my first experience of what I would later find out is the "Bader-Meinhoff Phenomenon". In history class, we were just starting to learn about World War I, in which the "spark which lit the powder keg" was the assassination of the Archduke Ferdinand. And that night, Johnny made that joke. Perfect timing.
Herb’s info on wikipedia is really good. He’s shifty and has to work with 2nd and 3rd tier shady advertisers. Episodes ‘A Mile in My Shoes’ and ‘Changes’ are good Herb stories.
I wonder if any real life Cincinnati businesses of the time advertised their business on WKRP as a clever joke. Maybe a well known business only in the Cincinnati area despite the show being national, possibly international or even one that frequently advertises on real radio stations of all genre's

Season 4, episode 12 ‘Pills’. The DJs where coming up with new ways to mess-up with the customer’s commercials on-air and finally got under Carlson’s skin. Bailey is really showing a dark side.. once throwing matches at Herb, now volunteering to beat up Les, lol!
Weisenheidel...look for the smiling face of the Archduke Ferdinand on every bottle.
“Red Wigglers…the Cadillac of worms!”
One of the greatest sitcoms ever.
One of the best sitcom’s ever produced… 😉

Best show ever! R.I.P. to The Big Guy, Johnny, Herb, and Mrs. Carlson.
Red Wigglers, the Cadillac of worms (We are) The Cadillac of worms...🎶
These were great (faux) commercials, kept me laughing in my darkest days.
I always ask for Red Wrigglers. The Cadillac of worms, when I buy bait.
Best series ever
Absolutely love Johnny's response during the Wickerman "diet pills" script read.
Love this show. Definitely miss Dr. Johnny Fever. See you in the afterlife Howard.
Rip to both Frank Bonner and Howard hedsman
Mommy, are these green pork chops still good?
Would love to see the full transcripts of these commercials
it's so pretty when the ham shimmers in iridescent colours.
@@graceyjewels7148 oh god I've seen that

"That VERY special girl ... oowoohoohoohoohoo!"
I like how Les is reacting positively to every other part of the ad but gets uncomfortable when the girl giggles.
What happenned to the Fairyman ad?
Chemicals...a natural part of life 😆
Well, they are.
I wish whoever had posted this that they left in the part that Johnny said before “chemicals!”
The Monday Night Football music underscoring the ad is fantastic
Yes. The periodic table is full of them.
Watched a panel of the cast. Howard brought up that the network had an issues with giving Cadillac a free shoutout in the red wiggler spot.
Hey, that's Bob Ridgely of Tarzan fame, as Mr. Wickerman.

i prefer the Ferryman parlor version.

Im not trying to advertise on this channel for you tube. I do run the main wkrp page on fb and you're all welcome 😉
Im posting this!! Killer job
Thanks!
Nice that people still like the show, I know I do.
Not perfect, but kudos to The Shout factory for the box set.
Nice FB group, happy to join.
Whatever dude, you're stealing content on two platforms. Congrats.
Not stealing.. sharing .
The only thing I get out of this is your feedback. Which is enough.
Fabulous!
3:50- Herb looks like Mickey Mouse. 😀
I see several episodes I've not found yet... more more more , please!
I didn't know Herb could sing.
2:48 They cut off Fever saying "how about a tall glass of...."
All of this is a reflection of Herb’s sales abilities…which was not pretty. 😂

You left out the "Carlson for President" spot.
Is that first commercial voiced by Paul Frees? (He is the voice of the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney - sure sounds like him)
According the IMDb, it's Brad Crandall.
@@JimmySand9 You're right, I do recognize that voice from some 1980s NFL Films
