Hello mate nice informing video. I need your advice , i have the E71 X6M and it factory left paddle shifter stopped working but it is clicking clearly without changing the gear. Do you have any ideas?
Hi mate, thanks so much!
You’d have to have a look inside the shifter itself to make sure everything is intact, but first I’d check that the shifter plug is ok.
If it’s not working then the car doesn’t know it’s there if you know what I mean.
So it’s just a troubleshooting process, if everything looks ok it might be worth buying another paddle shifter. I know these work off resistance, so maybe one is faulty!
Hello there. Professional advice needed: I have a stock steering wheel with paddles on my 335i E92, and I want to replace it with the classic M3 model with no paddles, as I don't use them. Will this be complicated in terms of creating any errors on the car's computer system, or so? Who can help me and have knowledge about this? Thank you in advance.
Hi mate, I’ve completely swapped out my steering wheel recently for a quick release! So I no longer have paddle shifters, and I’ve had no computer errors what so ever!
@@M3Taylor Million thanks mate! All the best to UK!
@@alexjoy1986 no worries man! Enjoy the 335 !!
do you know if these fit e92 msport paddle shifters and not just dct?
If your steering wheel looks like mine then yes it will be the same pal
M3Taylor just making sure cus i have auto not dct just incase the paddles are different for both
Where exactly does the ball bearing go or come from?
It sits in the hole where the paddle makes connection with the circuit board! If you carefully take it apart you’ll come across it easy. Just make sure you take it apart over a flat surface where you can’t lose it!
Replace with manual lol
