At 19 years old, I saw Corelli in Fanciulla and got his autograph. Looks as gorgeous as his voice. Spoiled me for any other tenors!! Also saw him in Chenier and Tosca!!
Gigliola Frazzoni and Mara Zampieri are two of my favorite Minnie. But Franco Corelli is still the best Dick Johnson IMHO. Many thanks for the selection!

Saw him in 1965 at the Old Met in Fanciulla with Kirsten and Colzani. I was 21!
Frazzoni was excellent
Puccini's composition so full of heart! Corelli so unique! Irreplaceable!
