Sequel to the 2009 animated chuckler featuring the voices of Anna Faris, Neil Patrick Harris, Andy Samberg and Bill Hader. After the disastrous food storm in that film, scientist Flint (Hader) and his friends are forced to leave their town of Swallow Falls...
He accepts the invitation from his idol Chester V (Will Forte) to join The Live Corp Company, which has been tasked to clean the island. If the entertainment is entertaining, then the entertainment is good. It does what it's supposed to, and is therefore good.
Honestly yeah- I agree with this comment. I watched it a lot more as a kid than the first one because it was just a good time for me. Plus the villain was more entertaining and less uncomfortable for me to look at. Like seeing that tiny mayor become nikocado avocado levels of fat made me so uncomfortable as a kid.

Fun fact:
The reason why Flint is named N Woo by the food animals is because the team behind the movie literally made a whole language for them. I don’t remember exactly how it works, but it’s basically them taking English words and just using the middle couple letters of the word in whatever sentence they say. So a sentence like “I walked over there” would turn into something like “I al vo the”, and a name like “Flint Lockwood” would turn into “N Woo”/“In Woo”.
This movie had interesting concepts, but they just never fully fleshed them out and it just came out looking like a experimental trial of the movie rather than a full product.

The lettuce pun is unironically one of my favorite jokes in this movie. Some of the puns are really stupid, like " those Bananostriches nearly split us" and "it'll be a piece of cake," but the lettuce and leek puns were my favorites.

@@electro___ na I’d say the cheeseburger spider is probably the scariest one since in the movie it’s literally swallows and devours like 2 people with a single bite/slurp but yeah the strawberry is definitely in second place

I love the dynamic these three have. Jude is the rational one who’s done with everything after watching all these stupid movies. Josiah is the one sitting in the back explaining the context through laughs. And Bren is just a purely happy man who’s just here for some fun with his friends. The way all of them bounce off each other is what sets this channel apart from all the other reaction channels were they all blend together and you never really get a feel of how they are individually. I love this channel to bits

I really liked the first movie more than the second movie as a kid, but after watching you three suffer through the second one, now I like both of them just as much.
The weirdest thing about it is foods like meets loaf are living creatures. Like, a cow gets cut up a ground and then the pieces of amalgamed flesh just becomes sentient. Like, is all the meat from the same cow the same or separate. Is the cow dead or alive, just in a state of severe mutilation and can not die?
