I have fond memories of spruce run! I just like being able to find clean spots in Tillamook, growing up here I never thought it would look how it does for the most part now
I do need to go back up in that forest, used to go out there and volunteer as road marshal for Oregon trail rally back when they ran it in that state forest Oh and I will make sure to have the badge with me at overland expo to finally get you guys it finally lol
I see you have learned the secrets to making good, crispy fries. Don't overload the pan and make sure the potatoes are dry before cooking. And that was a heck of a steak!
Jordan Creek Road or Archers Road, I serviced the campgrounds and waysides on Hwy 6, 2020 -2022. I knew that valley looked familiar. I didn't get out that far, guess will have to now. I am lucky, I have keys to all the gates. I am really enjoying your videos, am looking forward to watching more. I like your rig set up. Cheers TJ
Would you care to share the general location you were at? I’m in the coast range every day. Lately been exploring around Browns camp, Rogers, camp and Lee’s camp area.
Nice down to earth basic camp! Was this off of highway 6 somewhere? I'd like to take my kids camping there sometime (and we can't forget the Uno cards). Our next bucket list is a dispersed camp around Timothy Lake though :)
Yeah you’re in the right area. Lots of dispersed camp grounds up there. There are forestry maps too with a bunch labeled, I want to go and start scouting them out
Great spot, especially with friends! ;) I've also wondered if a sign would be helpful to put at the front of off shoot roads to let people know someone is camping at the end. I know I would appreciate not having to go down an occupied spot only to have to turn around. I wonder if anyone else has any opinion on this. Thanks for sharing! MIss you guys!
OMG that road freaks me out, I had bad stuff happen there one night😮😢. I will never camp in Tillamook forest again it was so scary and they never found my dog after the shooting
@@ChambersFamilyOverland we were camped in that very spot. Someone showed up middle of the night and was randomly shooting everywhere yelling and spinning cookies ( think they were drinking) we got out of the rooftop tent and my dog got scared and ran away 🥲
@@courtneychambers9214 just general bad luck, I live in my micro bus so I am in the forest a lot! I probably see more than most. I slipped on a corn dog at the fair and went partially paralyzed so lost my job because the hot honey got in my eye. I have a patch. Anyhow didn’t mean to downer your post, I find all my living spots in the Overland groups on fb so I end up in lots of places I see in the movies. I luv yur doggy ❤️
What a beautiful spot. So peaceful, it makes me feel like I’m right there.
Great video guys! Such a beautiful spot, shade, sun, green, and family. Love it!
So much green! Even being around it everyday it’s still mind blowing
Oregonian here, we also love camping in the Tillamook and Clatsop forest. Spruce Run is a nice hidden gem.
So much beauty! Spruce Run was our second camp trip ever before we started making videos!

Beautiful video guys! Looked like a great family outing.
Thank you Heather! ❤
I really enjoyed this trip, even for a quick overnight. One of the few trips where I felt like I could relax
Loved that time-lapse shot of the stars! Nice little getaway 🤙🏻
Thank you!
What a great spot! Such a cute family!
:) thank you, the spot was better then I imagined. There will be future videos there for sure

It’s such a beautiful area and less peopley than the other areas of the TSF we have been in. Also super clean and I hope it stays that way!
@@courtneychambers9214 I hope so too!
We also love spending time in the Tillamook State Forrest and surrounding area. Good content, subscribed for future installments.
It’s such a beautiful area isn’t it? So much to explore! Thank you!
That steak looked bomb! Yum! What a great spot, looked like you all had a great time, love seeing that! 🌲
Thank you!!! It was a really nice trip, nothing went wrong 😂 We hope you guys can come out with us soon!

I think I can do better with the fries for sure, but they were good! Steak was huge 😂. It was actually 3 pieces, but the one on top was a big one!
Great video!!! Binge watching today

Nice location and set up.

United States 👍
It’s south of Brown’s camp area

I'm guessing Jordan Creek... but we don't want everyone going there lol!

Yes it was! Can’t remember the road name, but south of the footbridge trailhead off the left if you’re headed toward the coast

You have a lot of bad luck in the forest 😅
Someone coming up on you in the middle of the night is easily my biggest fear. I mean we carry but I’m sorry nobody wants to be in that position
