I must say, I truly enjoy these videos. I, too, make family videos for my channel. Although we live different lifestyles, I appreciate the love that is present here. The effort it takes to film and edit material like this, while simultaneously trekking across these lands and maintaining a family is noted! As any video producer at any level knows, you probably watch each one about 100+ times each during the editing process. As much as I enjoy the footage and editing of my own family material, it's refreshing to see someone else's as well a a story I don't already know the ending to. Of course I love the off road travels, natural beauty of the land and all that "guy" stuff. Honestly, that is how I found your channel. That's not what makes me stay though. It's the people. The smiles on your family's faces the camaraderie and the love you share. As someone who believes in the end we're here for each other, I think people is the most important part of life. If you can be with the people you love and enjoy epic adventure too, well done. Keep the fire alive. ❤ ~ Josh
Guys absolutely gorgeous views of the west coast I’m playing content catch up but just happy to have video after video to stream… happy trails be safe out there.
I live in Austin now but I miss the PNW like crazy. Oregon, Washington, and Northern California have some of the best scenery in the US and I cant wait to drive back up there for some camping. I am glad you are enjoying your trip.
Oregon looks amazing, as does that meal! We love our propane firepit and just bought a reversible cast iron griddle/grill (Lodge Cast Iron in South Pittsburg, TN) to use on top of it. The firepit is so versatile for ambiance, warmth and cooking-thanks for introducing us to this great camping tool.
Missed the premiere but caught it about 20 minutes ago. On a trip of our own and yours made for the evening's entertainment. Love how Abigail is growing so quickly, and Caroline is having fun with friends. Slowing down is good... the miles will be there tomorrow. The lake campsite looks wonderful. Until next time... Ya'll travel safe.
Political climate notwithstanding, this is why I continue to live in my home state of Oregon. Always minutes away from so much natural beauty from just about anywhere, coast, mountains, or desert. I'm happy y'all are here to share in it!
Glad you loved it here in Oregon! I have yet to get to skylight caves but have explored others SE of bend that are now caged up for bats but we're open during the late 90's and earlier. Also glad to see you went down the santiam wagon road and found one of the wonderful alpine lakes!
You’ve found some of the best places in Oregon! Sisters and the wilderness near Mt Washington are some of our favorite places! There’s so many beautiful mountain lakes up there! Hope you come back soon!
Hey i was ready to eat that steak and mushroom delight with you!! On reflection the whole thing, was a delight thanks for sharing, from Steve near Chester England 🏴 where the Roman's once lived.
No, but we keep a really clean camp and steer clear of areas with acclimated bears. Cook, eat, clean up immediately. All food, trash, or dirty dishes go inside the rig for the night.
I have been having the worse issues with my steering rack. I have a 2013 4R and after much research I have found that the steering racks develop a form of death wobble. I have been noticing shakes around 50mph+. Have you had issues with this?
With the closeups of the steaks you are not being nice Kevin. Sorry I missed the chat. I have a fairly good idea where you are. Take care and be safe out there.

Beautiful country, thanks for the video!
Overlanding looks like so much fun. I can't wait to get my vehicle and get into it myself.

You have the BEST intro to your videos!
Thanks so much! My brother actually composed that intro and a few other songs we use from time to time.
@@LifestyleOverland There's like a low, deep sound to it that just draws me in. It has a very dramatic effect. And content is top notch as always!
@@LifestyleOverland Well he's got a natural talent! God bless!
So beautiful.
I've been waiting 7 years or more for you guys to visit us in Oregon. I see it didn't let you leave hastily 🌲
Oh and we've only begun... 😍
Great stuff. Have you ever had any trouble with bears or other animals with the dishes outside or the fire pit cooking?
No, but we keep a really clean camp and steer clear of areas with acclimated bears. Cook, eat, clean up immediately. All food, trash, or dirty dishes go inside the rig for the night.
How’s that ikamper cover holding up

Zero issues on our 4Runner but we had to replace the rack on the GX already.
i know that spot very well. We have spent many nights there.
Cooking steaks in a skillet while camping just seems wrong. But damn they looked good ❤

All good, I missed most of it too being distracted with a finicky radio in the garage!
👍
