You can actually change the throttle spring with the springs that came with the clutch. The clutch spring is a bit longer than the throttle spring but it still works. I just changed mine today. :)

I am wondering why simagic did not include this instruction on their user guide. The process is fairly simple. With this mods, P1000 becomes more appealing to sim racer. You can buy springs with different strength to suit your likings. By the way, thanks a lot for the video. It helped me a lot in deciding which one to buy vs moza crp.

@@eRacingAcademy only downside imo is that you assembled back the brake tube, nut etc very fast and missed one point written in the actual P1000 manual, which is, they say the metal thing (dont know the name) must be fit towards / inside the brake tube squeezing the nut from the top, otherwise if it is left as you left it, the part is worn faster, maybe a minor detail maybe not, actually i'd like to know if that might have an impact on the brake performance, looks like a gap is inbetween the elastomers and metal part if not fitted properly

Just ordered a set today actually to mate to my Alpha U. I got the FX wheel for grip and Sparco circle wheel for drifting. I think these pedals are going to be a game changer because of the price. I could justify the price of the base and wheel combo. But $800 plus for a good set of pedals was out of my comfortable budget. And I didn't get the haptic motors yet. Think I'll just get one for the brake to start off in a few weeks and if I like it I'll get one for the throttle. Very interested in the hydraulic brake upgrade. If the brake upgrade and one or two haptic motors still keep the price below the P2000's I think this will be the route most people take. Thanks for the reviews. There's not many in english out yet.

i have inverted pedal mount with a bass shaker on simhub mounted on the back and for abs and traction lost its great

I am currently using simtrec pedals and deff like them, but that haptic add on for abs really has my interest peaked anyone use them? and if so do you find it helps with breaking and lap times ?
how do these perform compared to a classic elastomer and loadcell system?
For those who don't have an aluminium profile rig you will find yourself drilling a hole for your foot pedal rest. Also you will need to buy extra nuts that came along with the supplied bolts.
How does the brake compare to other load cell pedals like the Heusinkveld Sprints or CSL elite v2? How similar is it to the gt4 car you drove? Many thanks 👍
The GT4 pedals are also softer on the initial pressing pressure and get harder as you produce more pressure/travel so in that sense it is a good representation. To get this feeling there are 3 types of rubber pads that are all at different stiffness's. The softer ones compress sooner giving that initial softer feel and the harder pads start working more as you are pressing the pedal harder.

Great video, simagic just dropped the hydraulic pedal. I had a sneaky suspicion it was coming with all the customization. Will you be doing a review on it? If so, one of my main concerns is if the haptic motor will fit with the hydraulic system installed.

Thanks for the comment 👍 that is a very good suggestion. For the braking, the motors only vibrate when the ABS is active. The locking up feature would be an excellent feedback 👌

Hi there, thanks for the support. Honestly having a haptic on the clutch pedal may be a little OTT as I don't know how you would benefit from it considering how often you would use the clutch and need the feel the vibration of the biting point. Therefore it's best to have it on the brake to feel the abs and on the throttle pedal for the tc activations.
I would only really want it on the brake tbh wish Moza had something like that it might be coming though there's a DC port and throttle motor port on the CRP brake pedal
Hmm simmagic software looks near identical to Moza's pithouse software I don't think that's a coincidence either I bet they work together

I have the Fanatec V3's would this be worth upgrading too? I don't do a lot of Road Racing mainly some Official iRacing Endurance and NASCAR stuff.
The V3 is a solid piece of equipment and would easily meet your requirements for a long time if you are sticking to Nascar or other oval endurance races. It would be worth upgrading to the P1000 if you are thinking of doing any road racing with vehicles that require precision braking.
Damn, just got a set of Heusinkveld Sprint in addition to my Alpha Mini... 589,00€ is an absolute bargain for these things! Pretty happy with my Sprints, but maybe in a year or two... :D

Vibrations from haptic addon are constant when ABS kicks in or it gives some sort of pulsating sensation when braking?
It is a constant vibration feeling where the frequency and the level of the vibration can be adjusted from the software
it's now March 2024.... I'm looking at buying a 3 pedal set in either the P2000 with Carbon Heel plate and Heel Stop OR the P1000 set with Hydraulic Brake..... which would be better? the price between the two is fairly close, so that is not really an issue. inverted pedal seti kullanmak kişisel tercih meselesi aslında. Kokpite doğru şekilde bağlandığında iki türünde her hangi bir dezavantajı yok.
Drift yapıyor veya daha fazla yor arabası kullanıyorsanız inverted set tercih edilebilir.
Bütçe uygunluğuna göre hidrolik model de tercih edilebilir. Hidrolik olan fren standart olana göre ilk basısta biraz daha sert ve yoğun hissettiriyor ve biraz daha kolay modülasyon yapmaya olanak tanıyor.
Ekipmanını iyi tanıdıkça standrt modl ile de sorunsuz sürüşler yapabilirsin. Hidrolik biraz kişisel bir tercih.

If you wanted to, can you remove the clutch pedal and relocate the brake pedal over? Although I enjoy having a clutch pedal I mostly use paddles so I decided to forego my pedal on the sprints and move my brake pedal farther over. I'm not sure these can do so as I notice there's certain points where the haptic cable (per pedal I assume) has to be plugged into?

Limited pedal movement because of the haptics and Sim Ray heel stop sockets. You can see the back of the heel plate on the last photo.
It looks like these are worth $120 more than ClubSport V3 ($100 if I bought the performance kit). Anyone out there who has tried both?

Let's see how much it will be. Also I wonder can the haptic reactors work with p2000? I have simagic alpha and meca cup1 I don't think I will change another Loadcell pedal but maybe p2000 with haptic reactor will be a good upgrade.
Seems like Haptics will only fork on P1000's now. They have different control boxes and components.if you tune it for your needs, definitely adds intense and immesrion to driving.

In terms of performance they are similar but the P1000 offers a lot more add ons if you are interested 😉
Do you think these pedals could be used sitting on the floor? I don’t have a rig but would like good pedals like these.
All pedals, especially equiped with loadcells hard to modulate your brakes when they are sitting on the floor. we and many pedal users will recomend to fix it on the spot or using a cocpit or any kind of pedal mount under your desk.
i dont think it is an issue with gas and brake pedal.
Simagic P1000 has 100 kg loadcell sensor and also has angle sensor built on the pedal. You may like to use angle sensors to calculate the travel. (Like Logitech and Thrustmaster pedals) But there will be problem to use all of your braking capabilities (Force) to modulate your brakes.
You may think to fix them on your spot.

Physically you can but you must be aware of the cable limitations. In addition, if you were the Haptic Reactor, you need to ensure you are able to plug it in. If you can not reach the Brake socket then you would be able to plug into the Clutch socket and make sure you choose the Clutch feedback settings from the software side

Because GT cars are more popular on sim racing, however I always enjoy driving a Formula car more 😄

@@Bluntsmokenot true. This has been a misconception for years. If your driving F1 maybe but anything like GT3 the pedal should be like a road car as many real race drivers have shown us in real GT3 cars where the pedal moves a lot and not super stiff.

If you had to choose between these and the p2000 pedals which one is better
The P1000 is a newer pedal set with more features and better build quality. P2000 is hoping to get more additional features soon too but the hydraulic add-on for the P1000 may make it a better buy compared to the P1000
Do you have a VR headset? Do they work when playing in VR? Mine do not, they work fine on screen play, but as soon as I launch ACC in VR all telemetry including the pedals stop working.

That's so lame that they don't include the additional pads for customizing the brake pedal stiffness. It would be a trivial cost for them to throw in a few more elastomer rings.
They're literally $20. And the pedal box does come with a few extras to change up the combination.
You feel the little flex in the groundplate if you breake hard? In the vid you can see there is a little bit of flex

Hi there again, yeah that's the flex of the 4mm think ground plate for the pedal. The base of the P1000 is very solid as it's all cnc machined parts. Never felt like it was flexing when driving
can the clutch and gas be swapped for an inverted layout? I'm looking build the inverted version myself
P1000i is the inverted model of P1000. You may want to check it form Simagic's shop.

Mesela Fanatec V3 Lithium Gres kullanıyor ve ürün ile beraber 10 gr gönderiyor.
Simagic ise silikon Gres gönderiyor.
Ülkemizde bulmak belki biraz zor olabilir; Wd-40 Dry ptfe (Metal-Plastik ve cam) kullanılabilir. Standart WD-40 tavsiye edilmiyor!!!!

Was interested until I saw it can only be applied to two actions, TC and ABS. In cars without these I'd like to have feedback from wheelspin and break lock up.

Yeah, I currently have a really good Dayton puck based solution with SimHub and I like the flexibility but TBH the only feedback I’ve mapped to pedals that I felt was giving me real actionable value was ABS. Wheel slip for me is better applied to the seat as it feels a bit unnatural coming from the pedals

I bought these pedals and i'm struggling too much with them. There is too much friction between my feet and the wheel plate. I cannot drive whit heel down....i don't know what to do, i am used to use my leg big muscle, in your video seems like you are using almost ankles...
Hi there, this heavily depends on your seating position, the braking power should come from the hips initially and the pressed and modulated with the ankles. The heels should be fixed, stationary
When doing a pedal review you must use the clutch just so we can make a choice. I would have like to of seen and heard it work. I can't buy this now, I'll save more monies and get the P2000 set don't really care about the lights.
The clutch pedal works absolutely fine. It does everything you'd expect from a clutch pedal. When setup and calibrated properly, you can use the clutch pedal to move the car from standing still and for charging gears if you prefer. The weight and dual stage bite system is similar to many high-end pedals. I think you can buy it now 😉
@Azdag070 STOP DONT 😅 Joke but don't seriously. I had the p2000 which are great pedals but even though you would think the p1000 were lower spec their not. The clutch on the p1000 is a massive difference for me over the p2000. The p2000 has a very loud clunk on press and return and doesn't feel smooth at all but the p1000 they fixed this with a rubber stopper and the pedal arm has cut outs for it they also double walled the side of the clutch to keep the bearings in perfect alignment because for me the p2000 clutch I had 2 bearings fail and one bearing grind into the metal rubber part it runs on. The brake on the p2000 (i have the hydraulic mod)is a little better but the p1000i I have feels way more realistic. The haptics are a game changer as their nothing like transducers I had on my p2000 these p1000i haptics feel like a kick back like real abs when set up correctly. The throttle on the p2000 is a lot smoother but over time caused me knee pain as it was too stuff even on the oowest setting but most will say it's a great throttle on the p2000.
So for me the p1000i are a clear upgrade over the p2000. Owe one last thing the wiring on the p2000 is horrendous and shouldn't of been allowed past post production but the p1000i have great wiring and they use good connectors.

The p1000 with the hydraulic mod and the haptics on both throttle and brake works out more expensive than the p2000 but if you get chance try them because for the money nothing beats them and I've gone through 8 different sets in 7 years all high end even Tiltons.
am i correct in understanding that the haptics only react when ABS/TC are engaged? in other words, no feedback would be available while running oval nascar or short track?
Hi there, yeah the SimPro software only allows the haptics to give a feedback when ABS is active, TC is active or when the clutch is biting. In your case we don't think it would be most beneficial for oval racing. But a question, what kind of feedback would you like for your purpose?
@@eRacingAcademy i was curious/thinking it would be something similar to what a buttkicker offers in that it vibrates with relation to what's happening with the car be it engine RPM, an incident, etc. another question i have is how the brake felt under foot while just resting. was there any "slop" to the pedal or did it sit firmly until pressure was applied? for reference, i have the V3 pedals and have been looking at an upgrade between the P1000, heusi sprint and asetek invicta.
@@ews1532 I've returned the P1000 and Asetek. Now use the sprints, they are the best

Too early to say IMO ! Lack of content and reviews at this time ... But eager to compare them as well. VRS will probably be ahead in terms of adjustability, but as for the feeling it's good question. Hopefuly Dan can review them soon !
Maybe in near future we can get VRS DirectForce Pro. The reviews from users are getting us excited. we will see soon!!
