Great video. I played BPB about 30 times in the 70's. $8 a round, no wait. The course had become somewhat degraded but it was still a beast. I knew this was a championship layout and said over and over "why aren't they having tournaments here?" Could never break 80 and never parred #5. Demon hole. 83 was my best. One day I played one of the other courses, red I think. Drives and and 9 irons all day. Shot an easy 76. What a difference. The Black is very special. Glad to see it got the recognition it deserved.
@@iec7587 OK 8-9 and it was Red or Green, (probably Green). A long time ago before they refurbished the courses and the point was after the Black it amazed me how easy the other course was. Very little challenge. Shot 76. Average off tee was 240-260. Strong off fairway but weak in short game but I hit a bunch of greens in regulation
pretty funny to see you put the driver away from the 12th on. ive recently played an entire round a few times with just the 3wood on the teebox and it has helped keep me straight on the fairway, despite being shorter than a driver, but helps keep me in the game
This is a good question! Looking at the scorecard, I would say no. Its 400 yards less than the white tees. If it was a 1000 less I would say I probably could.
I went as a solo. Its much easier getting a tee time that way. I spam the refresh button on their website the day before I want to go and usually find something.

highly doubt that you hit Driver -9iron on red for holes 1, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 18. I mean you could hit 275 and pretty straight but not likely

Ken let's go! Glad to see you posting again, hope all is well.
Nice round man, you avoided anything worse than bogey which is rare at BP black.

Nice video. You think you could have shot in the 70s from the front tees? I'm gunna try it next time. And start a trend.

Nice job avoiding the doubles.
Very solid, hard to get around that pace with no doubles....
Dude 😮 Hole 14 from the sand. Just screenshot that image and look at the proportions from one side of the screen to the other 🤯
the bunkers on this course are like 20 feet tall ahaha
311 yard 3 wood?
How did you find getting a tee time for your 4some?
